“Kaitlyn is absolutely wonderful. My Lady had never been boarded before and of course I was more nervous that she was. However, in all the daily pictures Kaitlyn sent it was clear that Lady was living her best life with all her new doggy friends and running around playing. She was well taken care of and loved on. In fact, I think she may find home to be a little boring. :) I will definitely be bringing Lady back when my family travels. It was a great doggy vacation for her too.”

About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

She sent numerous pictures of Baxter that allowed me to have peace of mind when I needed a last minute sitter and a “homey” environment for Baxter. He warmed up to her immediately and even got comfy on her couch. Also, she walked him daily and when I picked him up he wasn’t anxious as he has been in kennel environments. I almost forgot to mention that she watched my Mom’s dog as well in the same weekend. We wanted to board them together because they are with each other most days. I can’t say enough about Jalaina and her sweet and gentle spirit which is why I think both dogs had such an enjoyable stay and I will not hesitate to book her again.”

She sent videos and pictures that made our hearts so happy while out of town, and we could visually see how great she treated our little guy (who can be difficult to say the least). About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life that I was primarily responsible for and have taken good care of many other families animals while they were away. I do have a full time weekday job, but with great hours! I am available anytime after 3 pm m-f, and completely available on weekends! My husband and I often let our dogs outside in the backyard on a stake leash or we will walk them. We feed them 2x a day. I am very well aware with daily medications for pets. My dog takes multiple daily usually with breakfast. I will make sure to give all the time and care that the pet requires.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and I have also owned mine my whole life. I went to tel tctc for animal management also. I own my own photography business so this is something I would like to do when I don’t have any sessions. I also do hair We have a invisible fence, and we have baby gates in areas so she can not get into anything. Our cat stays in the house.

About: I have had pets ever since I was a small child: dogs, cats, hamster, gerbils, chinchilla, parakeet, turtles, even a toad that we saved from a freezing winter. We took care of it till spring and then released it. I love animals of all types. Almost, I'm not babysitting your tarantula or pet snake. About: Hi everyone! Our names are Karen and Chad and we’ve always had a love for dogs since childhood. The thought of caring or rescuing a dog has always been top of our minds. When we got married, we adopted a greyhound racer. We had him for 7 years and lost him unfortunately due to cancer. Since we lost him, we’ve wanted to continue helping/caring for dogs and can’t think of a better way then helping others with their fur animals. We know the working world doesn’t always accommodate balancing out caring for our fur friends and work and would love to help with that! When I became a Mom and my youngest son begged us to get a dog, I was so happy. We added Rocky to our family 12 years ago and he’s been my companion ever since. I’ve successfully raised and trained five dogs from puppies and I have experience with rescue pups who may not feel entirely comfortable in their new environment. I’ve experienced small and large breeds alike, with my current pup being a King Cavalier Spaniel. Goose’s cousins who we see weekly are two Golden retrievers and one rescue mix. I’m able to be flexible or rigid when it comes to your pets schedule, and am knowledgeable in special diets, fresh pet food, administering meds if needed. I have the luxury of working from home and creating my own schedule which makes my days very flexible! I currently can accept pets for boarding, play dates or walks Sunday through Thursday, 9:30am to 10pm. My dog is allowed to be on all furniture and sleep in the bed and your pet would be permitted to as well if that is your preference! Goose and I take several walks a day and love to take day trips to various area dog parks and hiking trails or enjoy a lazy afternoon on the couch.

About: Aside from owning dogs my entire life, I have years of experience taking care of pets. I accept any type of pet and all ages. I am a certified dog trainer. I also worked at a veterinary office and dog grooming. I have certification in pet CPR and first aid so I am able to handle emergency situations. I can administer medications and provide any medical care if needed. I am very flexible. I make my own schedule to accommodate everyone's needs. I can be available 7 days a week pretty much at any time. I will come to your house whenever days/times needed. The ability to change the floor plan also allows to separate animals if beneficial.

About: I don’t remember a time in my life that I wasn’t taking care of animals! Whether it be while growing up or starting to dogsit/walk in high school, there was never a time a fur baby wasn’t relying on me. And I wouldn’t have it any other way! About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 7 years old, starting with my crazy Siberian Husky. Once teen years hit I started to take care of others pets during their family vacations and out of town trips. I’ve cared for puppies, adult and senior dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, birds, guinea pigs, chinchillas and hermit crabs. I will stay up to 1 hour each trip to ensure the pet has plenty of time to run and play and release some energy as well as adequately relieve their bladders/bowels. I also offer overnight stays and giving oral medications. I’m additionally capable of bathing and walking dogs 60 pounds and under.

About: I have had a lot of experience with dogs and cats since I was a young child. I grew up on 5 acres and we bred collies and Persians. As an adult I have always had dogs and cats. About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

“Jalaina did a great job looking after my dog Baxter. Typically, I board him with a kennel, but he hates being in a cage and restricted. Jalaina was all I could have hoped for. She sent numerous pictures of Baxter that allowed me to have peace of mind when I needed a last minute sitter and a “homey” environment for Baxter. He warmed up to her immediately and even got comfy on her couch. Also, she walked him daily and when I picked him up he wasn’t anxious as he has been in kennel environments. I almost forgot to mention that she watched my Mom’s dog as well in the same weekend. We wanted to board them together because they are with each other most days. I can’t say enough about Jalaina and her sweet and gentle spirit which is why I think both dogs had such an enjoyable stay and I will not hesitate to book her again.”

She took time to ask questions and fill us in on their process of handling a guest dog in their home. Her home is beautiful (I said I wanted to take his place being boarded there lol), it looks like actual doggy heaven. She sent videos and pictures that made our hearts so happy while out of town, and we could visually see how great she treated our little guy (who can be difficult to say the least). They treated our dog as if he were a part of their family in a short period of time and we couldn’t be more grateful to have found her!
