LuLu was joyous when “mommy” picked her up, but I could tell from her demeanor she was comfortable and happy in Nan’s home. I also think LuLu is missing her new friends. About: I have had cats all my life. I grew up with them and have four of my own now. They range in age from 7-11 years and are my world. My second oldest cat, Delilah was very ill a few years ago and with the help of our vet, we were able to nurse her back to health. The long road to recovery included giving her subcutaneous fluids and feeding her through her feeding tube for over a month. So happy to say she is here with me today loved and healthy as ever.

If your animals are staying in our home, they’ll have access to a spacious yard where dogs can play and run freely. We also have a small dog and a cat who are well-socialized and have done well with other animals during previous stays. However, if any pets need to be separated for comfort or safety, our home is set up to accommodate that easily and without stress. Our main services include boards and drop ins. We also offer house sitting services; however, please note that we are not available for overnight stays at this time. We have a large, open yard where dogs can play and get plenty of exercise, as well as a designated playpen area in our basement for indoor fun and safety. About: I have years of experience. i have had animals all my life and have taken care of all different kinds - turtles, sugar gliders, rabbits, ferrets, lizards, cats and dogs. i have had to take care of senior dogs, and of dogs that needed medications everyday for either seizures or for pain due to being hit by a car. I love playing with them, caring for them, being there for them and providing love to them. I love going for walks in the parks, around development, etc. Whatever the pup/dog likes to do is fine with me, I have a lot of history with them so I'd be more than happy to provide for any dog! About: Ever since I was a little girl I had dogs in my life! I grew up with two little west highland white terriers who were the most energetic loving dogs I could ask for as a kid. Later we welcomed our golden-doodle into our family who has protected us and made us laugh everyday! He’s now 10 years old! For about six years dog sat for a neighbor who had a boxer and English bulldog. I dog walked and house sat for three summers for a goldendoodle and for three years dog sat for lab/mutt mix, two pugs and a cat. I also take care of my sisters two Rhodesian ridgebacks one who is 6 years old and one 5 month old as well as my other sisters golden retriever who is 5 months old. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I remember and every day they show me what it’s like to be loved. I am taking some time off before starting Physician Assistant school, so I have a good amount of time throughout the week to take care of your pets! I am very in tune with my dogs needs at home and love just spending time with whether it’s relaxing in the couch, going for walks or sitting in the grass. I understand some dogs may need to be crated or if there is no fenced in yard, they need to be leashed when outside. I can accommodate any need for your pets in your home!

The thought of leaving your pet while on vacation can create a lot of anxiety (especially a long vacation of 9 nights), but after meeting Nan and her family, my husband and I were immediately put at ease. LuLu was joyous when “mommy” picked her up, but I could tell from her demeanor she was comfortable and happy in Nan’s home. I also think LuLu is missing her new friends. Within an HOUR or two of drop-off - we had an unexpected situation when one of our dogs became very stressed and sick due to the new environment. Marian kept me informed right away, was incredibly patient and compassionate and worked with me to come up with the best solution for my dogs. She even transported them to our home and transitioned our booking to drop in visits - which I so appreciated. She was kind, flexible, understanding - even after my dog had multiple accidents in her home - which had never happened before. She reassured us that she was a professional and used to these situations. We were able to proceed with our booked getaway ONLY because of Marians professionalism and kindness and flexibility.
