“I had a fantastic experience with Crystal while she looked after my 9-month-old Snowshoe cat, Mavis, during my spring break. Right from the meet and greet, she knew her stuff. She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. Plus, she ensured Mavis got plenty of playtime – she understood Mavis's playful side. I was impressed by how Crystal helped Mavis and Sushi become friends. They hit it off after a little supervised playtime, which made me feel even better about leaving Mavis with her. What genuinely set Crystal apart was her communication. I will not accept a request without meeting you and your pet(s) first. This gives us an opportunity to go over all your pet’s needs and your questions. Number one question I get - will you be bringing your dog to my home? Sometimes this is out of curiosity, sometimes they like the idea of their pet having a buddy, but usually it is a safety concern. My dog will never enter your home. When I house sit overnight my dog stays with my sister. She is perfectly happy there and I don’t have to split my focus. My job is to focus on YOUR pet! During walks and in general, I do not allow dogs to interact with people or other dogs/pets. This is a big safety concern, as I often know nothing about other people/pets in the area. I do not take those types of liberties with your pets. We will instead turn a corner, cross the street, come back the way we came, or I politely inform them that ‘this is not my dog’, ‘we don’t have time today’, etc.

About: I have taken care of a large variety of dogs since I was in middle school, outside of the 3 I have grown up with. I have always been reliable to feed, walk, play and give potty breaks according to each dog’s needs. I’ve worked with dogs ranging from 5 lbs to 150 lbs, and dogs of all ages. I work part time so I have plenty of time to care for your animals! I mainly work in the afternoons, but my house always has someone available for constant socializing.
