Usually I tend to walk my dog for a 1-2 hours a day. It is extremely important that my dog Nala gets exercise each day to make sure she stays happy and healthy. Sometimes I also take my cat on the walks as well (he loves spending time outside with his sister with his harness and leash on!). Weekends have much more flexibility with my schedule. It is extremely important to make sure that any animal feels comfortable in their environment. Giving them the opportunity to take bathroom breaks and keeping pets on their normal schedule is very important. Giving pets access to fresh drinking water, specific foods, and medications as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.
About: I love dogs! Over the last 15 years I have fostered over 90 dogs and have owned 7 myself. I currently have 3 pups living with my husband and I. I enjoy loving on them and giving them an amazing life. Dogs have always been a vital part of my life and being able to provide a safe loving environment for other people's dogs makes my heart happy. About: I cat sit for my neighbor for long periods of time when she goes away. I’ve been an animal owner since the age of 3. Currently I’m in school for nursing but don’t have classes Monday and Wednesday as well as the weekend. Those days I’m hoping to spend time with pets. Caring for pets in my home I will have them on a leash if outside just in case they like to run away. At a clients home I’ll follow the directions to ensure perfect pet care.

About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. Dogs of all backgrounds tend to gravitate towards me and I have never had any negative interactions. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. Feeding, exercise, and handling/care were done daily, which can explain my comfortability and familiarity with pet care. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. I’m extremely flexible and will be willing to meet your needs as best as possible. Simply put, I treat the pets like they are my own. I ensure they are met with sufficient attention, exercise, nutrition, and safety while under my supervision. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.

About: I had only dogs for many many years and absolutely love dogs! I then moved abroad for the past 12 years and due to living in a building which allowed no dogs I decided instead to invest in a kitten.. Here we are, years later and I've become rather cat crazy! We have 4, 3 of which we brought with us all the way from the UK to love with us here in Danville. I love how each cat carries their own personality, likes, dislikes and quirks and I have learned to be patient a great deal thanks to these little flurries of fur. I also once owned rabbits, chickens, peacocks, fish, a squirrel named "Giblet" and spent time around cows and pigs as well. Animals give us warmth and love, be it a cozy chihuahua or a frowning lizard and I love them all! I am new here in town and wish to establish myself as a carer and guardian of your pets when you need a hand. I genuinely will love and cherish them in the short time I might spend with them.. Their safety, happiness and calmness are important to me and I will give all my devotion to them while in my care or in your home. I hope to be here for you anytime you need.! We have just moved here from the UK in mid 2024. Our 4 cats are the biggest part of our lives and as I work from home I am so attached to them! That freedom can also allow me to care for your pet as well and love them as if they were my own while you are away! For now I have decided to offer myself up to visit your home when you wish to feed, walk and play with your pets as well as those necessary litter box details if you have cats.. I am honest and dependable with a deep love for animals and for being kind and gentle. I won't just feed them and leave..
