“Anna gave a great deal of attention to my nearly 17yo cockapoo who was blind and in diapers 24/7 the last yr. He had gotten down to 7 lbs from 16 but still spent every waking moment on the prowl for food. When I found out I had colon cancer that required surgery ASAP i took a couple days reading boarders profiles and reviews before choosing Anna. We talked extensively about peanut 2x before boarding. She got back yo me fast when contacted and sent daily video updates. As Peanut has severe separation anxiety, I was concerned but had to board him and I choose well! About: I have three doggies of my own and I love them with all my heart. I have experience walking feeding and playing with my own dogs as well as neighbors and friends dogs. I’m also comfortable with baths and distributing medications. I trained both of my dogs when they were puppies so if I’m watching a puppy and you need me to practice some simple tricks with him/her I’m able to do that for you. I work full time 9-5 so I am available for early morning walks and evening visits!! I am always available Saturdays and Sundays after church! I’m very vigilant when letting dogs outside even if a client has a fenced in yard. If there’s no fence I will take the dogs out on a leash. I have a good memory and I write important things down, especially special instructions you may have for me to take care of your furry friend. For boarding: I currently live in a small apartment in a city apartment building, but there are plenty of nearby outdoor options for dogs. There are sidewalks all around the building for regular walks, a grassy area directly across the street, and a small patch of grass behind the building for quick potty breaks. Kirby Park is also right across the street, which is perfect for longer walks, fresh air, and exercise in a safe, open space. There are no animals living with me currently and I will only board one dog at a time, unless they come from the same family!

“Adam watched my cats this weekend (two drop-in visits) for the first time; he was fantastic and exceeded all my expectations! He showed up exactly at the arranged times and texted me 11 pictures each visit which not only showed me my beloved cats, but also showed me that all of the necessary tasks we had discussed previously had been completed (ie a picture of a cleaned litter pan, a picture of a food plate arranged with medication, etc). About: I've taken care and rescued all sorts of animals from guinea pigs to giant pitties. I have been in rescue for about 9 years. It comes out of pocket, but if I don't save them or help who will? I am also good at medication injection and oral administration of medication as well. I can do walks, check in's, doggy day care, house sit, etc. I will accommodate your needs for your furbaby. I am not afraid of bigger dogs as most people might be. I think of them as giant teddy bears. I will send plenty of updates and pictures as I know leaving your furbaby with a stranger can be absolutely nerve wrecking. Whatever makes my customer happy I will be more than willing to meet their request. Just give me instruction, your furbabies name, any allergies, medications, walk/yard time and frequency, feeding schedule, and any other information you see fit and I guarantee your precious furbaby will find a new friend! I am currently employed part time and in school part time this semster over at Johnson College for Veterinary Nursing. My schedule is pretty packed, but I will make accommodations with you to accommodate the needs of your furbabies or ones with scales. I moved in March of last year so boarding at the new place might be a bit busy. I do have enough room to accommodate at least 3 dogs. I don't have a fenced in yard at my apartment however I love to take them on long walks. I have walked dogs of all sizes. Super tiny to 100+lbs. I also have my own pupper Krypto so if boarding at my home please make sure your dog is other dog friendly as well as cats. I have 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 rat and a goldfish. If you are looking to board in my home I suggest a meet & greet to make sure your furbabies and mine are safe for their stay. I care for my clients furbabies like they are my own. About: I am an ANIMAL LOVER! My name is May Fredericks, I’m 22 and a student at King’s College preparing to begin grad school soon. I major in environmental science and chemistry, and I hope to become a scientific diver working with marine life or in wildlife rehabilitation. I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.

Whether it's a morning walk to start the day, a dinner time drop in, or extended weekend care, I make sure every pet gets the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. When caring for pets in their own home, I always follow the pet parent's instructions closely to ensure consistency and comfort for their pet. I'm very detail oriented and make sure routines, feeding, medications, and preferences are followed exactly as requested. I also let the pet guide the pace of our interactions whether that means playtime, cuddles, or simply being a calm, reassuring presence. I have a dog of my own and have done well training him. I’ve had dogs since I was five and deeply enjoyed taking care of them. “Anna gave a great deal of attention to my nearly 17yo cockapoo who was blind and in diapers 24/7 the last yr. He had gotten down to 7 lbs from 16 but still spent every waking moment on the prowl for food. When I found out I had colon cancer that required surgery ASAP i took a couple days reading boarders profiles and reviews before choosing Anna. We talked extensively about peanut 2x before boarding. She got back yo me fast when contacted and sent daily video updates. As Peanut has severe separation anxiety, I was concerned but had to board him and I choose well! I have a large, sweet, anxious dog and in the past she has come back from sitters a nervous wreck, sometimes taking a week or so to get back to normal (with diarrhea sometimes). I pick up my pooch this morning after a week away and she was her happy, calm self with normal poo! Looks like my dog had a great week. Natalie knew just what to do with a nervous dog and gave me regular updates throughout the week. She even gave my dog a bath! I highly recommend Natalie.”
