About: I have 3 pets of my own that I love so so much (2 cats and a dog). I have always cared for my neighbors pets as they have relied on me for the past few years every now and then. I have experience with both cats and dogs and have been pet sitting locally for 3 or 4 years now. I am comfortable with walking, feeding, and bathing pets. (leaving work is as hard as you can imagine) My most common shift is 1:00 PM–7:00 PM, though I can also work morning, afternoon, and split shifts, though the weekday morning shifts are extremely rare. My weekday shifts are never longer than 6.5 hours, and the only time I may be away for up to 10 hours is on the occasional Saturday when I'm scheduled for a longer shift. On Sundays, I usually work split shifts, which means I'm able to come home and spend about 2½ hours with your pet between work periods. If it's a good fit for your baby and you're comfortable with it (and comfortable paying for it😅), I'd also be happy to talk about bringing them with me to my work so they can enjoy extra socialization, enrichment, and attention, while never leaving my side! I am very attentive to detail, so I will be able to care for your dog’s individual needs. Most recently, I have cared for a miniature schnauzer puppy, a black lab puppy, and two mid-aged mixed breed dogs. I have additional experience with doodles, king cavalier spaniels, dauschunds, pitbulls, and pugs. I am currently studying to take my physical therapy board examination so I will my schedule is flexible. I am not working at the moment, but hope to get a full-time job after taking my examination at the end of July. A part-time job may be added in the near future. I am willing to feed them, walk them, play with them, let them out to the bathroom, and clean up after them. Whatever they need, I will willingly provide for them. I can easily crate your dog if needed and spent my last semester away at college lifting a lot at the gym, so there need be no worries of the dog walking itself. Whether pets are in my home or yours, I follow routines carefully, respect boundaries, and keep a watchful eye on behavior, comfort, and wellbeing. About: Hello! I'm a lifelong animal lover and teach for an educational non-profit organization in Pittsburgh. I grew up on a farm so I'm no stranger to dogs and cats (and horses, cows, sheep, etc.)! I have a mini-dachshund, Bijou -- truly the sweetest little pup. Whether you'd like to have your pet stay with us in my home with a fenced yard, or if you'd prefer I come to you, I look forward to caring for your dog or cat. I also have experience with puppies and understand their particular needs. Please reach out with questions! I'm open to pets with different types of needs. I have some flexibility with my schedule and I'm willing to talk through what will work best for you. My dog Bijou goes nearly everywhere with me (though she would not need to come to your house). I own my home and have a small/medium sized fenced yard. Animals are very important to me and I will always do my best to create a safe and cozy atmosphere for them by understanding their needs. I respect each person's approach to care for their pets and will defer to your suggestions and wishes!

“Kim was so accommodating with me. Willow was going to arrive around 2pm, then 4pm and then after 5pm as our drive and lunch stop took longer than expected. Willow is not used to other dogs since she is an only dog at home and can get quite stressed but she was great when I picked her up and Kim and her husband updated me with pictures with her on their laps and outside. She was always very prompt to respond. Nice big back yard which Willow loves. Overall, it was a great experience - way better than a kennel.”

About: I have owned and trained dogs for 30 years. I volunteered as a trainer and handler for wilderness search and rescue dogs. I also was a volunteer as a foster dog mom for the Humane Society. I understand how hard it is to leave your pup while you're at work. I would love to help you out with visits and walks while you're away. I just retired and joined Rover as a dog walker after using the service for years. I am available to walk your dog and stop for visits any time. Boarding for dog walking/drop in clients only. I have a pup of my own due to a foster failure, I just couldn't give him up. I have trained.and handled lot of different types of dogs as a volunteer for HARP and Canine Companions. I will always treat your pet as if it were one of my own. They will get a long leisurely walk with lots of time to sniff and explore. I'll make sure they are settled in when we return home and have fresh water. Your instructions will be followed and I'll always leave you a note and keep in touch as directed.
