About: I have been a pet owner for 30+ years (currently own no pets) and a pet sitter from the 80's and 90's when it was new to have someone in your house taking care of pets while traveling. I am new to Wayne County, after living in Delaware County, PA for 50 years. I am looking for a part time work from home job, but in the meantime thought I could fill my days with dog lovin. I miss having my own pet, so loving and caring for others would be a great fit. My home is spacious, with plenty of room to play, sleep and be crated (if necessary). Right from starting as a pet sitter, I’ve taken care of a senior dog with issues like incontinence, and adhering to a schedule that fits his needs best. I currently apprentice for training dogs hands on whether it is families dogs, friends or with clients dogs and rescues as well. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away. About: I have sat for friends and family. I also take care of my 2 dogs, and I also have 4 cats. In the past I even adopted reptiles and other animals to heal/care for until someone wanted to take them to their forever home. I have like animals since I could remember, and I would absolutely care, and love the pets I sit. Past I have also volunteered for animal shelters and even started a fundraiser for a specific shelter. I just graduated from nursing school. I will be starting my job soon, but even while working for my job, I would love to take on an extra role in pet caregiving as of right now I am available at any time that you may need me. Once I start work, I will be available as much as I can for the pets that I will care for. I live in the countryside with a giant 10 acre piece of land. About: I have been a pet owner for 30+ years (currently own no pets) and a pet sitter from the 80's and 90's when it was new to have someone in your house taking care of pets while traveling. I am new to Wayne County, after living in Delaware County, PA for 50 years. I am looking for a part time work from home job, but in the meantime thought I could fill my days with dog lovin. I miss having my own pet, so loving and caring for others would be a great fit. My home is spacious, with plenty of room to play, sleep and be crated (if necessary). About: I’ve grown up with pets and have experience with special needs animals, seniors and kittens/puppies. I can administer medicine and am very cognizant of a pet’s personality. For example I have a timid cat, a menace cat and a love bug cat. My Siberian husky is more cat than dog too. I can do drop ins or board dogs in my home. I can also stop by for walks. For the board ins I prefer to take in only dogs because I don’t want to stress the kitty crew out, but I’d be available to come do drop ins for the cats. My yard isn’t completely fenced so I’d probably take the doggos to the park at apple grove and for walks around town. I have three friendly cats and my husky also loves dogs.

About: IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW BEFORE REQUESTING SERVICES: I work full-time from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, and occasional weekend days/one federal holiday per calendar year. I have always been, and will always be an animal person. I have 3 dogs of my own currently: Lincoln (12 year old chihuahua), Ripley (4 year old mixed breed), and Tots (5 year old mixed breed); I also have a bunny named Bonsai (10 years old)! I have spent many years dedicated to the happiness and well-being of dogs of all ages ranging from 5 pounds to 150 pounds. I’ve socialized dogs for many years and can pick up on their cues of how they’re feeling, whether it be happy, anxious, or fearful. I’m well versed in medication administration as well, whether it be orally or topically given. I’ve prepped food that ranged from standard kibble to entirely raw. I’m also no stranger to cleaning up if a dog has an accident. I know how it is to worry when you’re away from your furry companions and that is why I uphold myself to high standards to make sure all animals are safe and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently working full-time and am diligent about making sure my schedule is up to date as I like to stay organized and plan ahead. I work from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and occasional weekend days/holidays. I have a fenced in yard. I have crates available in house if your dog is crate trained, whether it be for eating, sleeping, or general comfort/decompression. I have extra leads to make sure each dog is being walked safely. If your dog is on a retractable leash, I will make the call to use either a standard leash or British lead. It ensures the safety of both your companion and my own when on walks.
