Not only that, but I could tell that they got exactly what they needed from Alyssa and her family because when we got home, Ava and Pey were spent. “Tim and his family were great for our dog. He stayed with them for 5 days. Tim was good about communicating as we were setting up a meet and greet and also while he watched our dog. We weren't sure how our dog would get along with his 2 dogs, but his dogs were very friendly and sweet. We had no worries about them getting along. His whole family came out to meet our dog at the meet and greet. They were all very nice and you could tell they all like dogs. Our dog came back to us happy and healthy. I would recommend Tim and plan to schedule with him in the future.”

“Wonderful experience ! Denise responded within minutes to my last minute request for pet care. She came by the day after we chatted online for a meet and greet. She was going to try and make a same day meet and greet ! The meet and greet left me relieved ! I knew we found that someone who we can trust to care for our cat, Arya. Denise communicated in great detail with us at every visit which made our get away more enjoyable. We knew that Arya ate and went potty as normal etc .. Our cat is shy and hides when people visit. She doesn’t come out until they leave. It became apparent that shy Arya was comfortable with Denise. We got lots of pictures of her playing with multiple favorite toys and looking happy ! It was clear from the photos that Denise took the time to connect with Arya. Each picture made us more relaxed and sooo happy ! Last minute we decided to stay another day but we had to check with Denise and her schedule etc.. She didn’t hesitate when I asked her .. she added another day of visits so that we could stay the extra day. I later found out that it was her birthday weekend too ! One last note … Denise checked in with us to make sure that we made it home safely from our trip, no doubt certain that Arya wasn’t left without care and that we were safe. I will never use another care giver for our cat in the future and I will refer her to as many people as I can.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is, my enthusiasm to get all of your animals outside having as much fun as we possibly can! I have been taking care of my own dogs for the past 4 years. Including giving medication, nail trimmings and everything else that comes along with being a pet parent! About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. There were always multiple cats and dogs in my home growing up. My husband, three children (15,13,11) and myself love pets and have take care of family and friends' pets quite often, including bunnies and chickens! We had a large labradoodle with special needs in the past and currently have another large labradoodle. I am comfortable with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes and with giving meds as needed. My kids are always up for a snuggle also! I am a homeschool, stay at home mom of 3. Now that my children are older and more independent my schedule is rather flexible. We are active and walk often and can do school anywhere! Sometimes it would be just me but at times my children (15,13,11) would accompany me as well. We have a fenced in dog run which is very secure. If I am coming to your home I will follow any and all guidelines you have to make sure your pet is safe and happy and loved while you are away.

About: I had a dog from the age of 10 to 25 when she passed away. We have two boys who love animals. We had fun helping take care of my parents dog when they would travel. We would try to teach her new tricks. It gives us an excuse to get out of the house and take walks. I work full time until June 7th and then I’m home all summer. We have a small fenced in area and then a large common area behind our house. We live in a neighborhood where we take daily walks. We are always outside. Nick works from home on Fridays, but works 7 minutes away and can come home during lunch to check on the dog and take him/her for a walk. We are usually home between 2:00 and 3:00. Our weekends are pretty much free. Taking care of dogs easily fits into our family schedule. We try to spend as much time outside as possible, so we would bring the dog on our walks and runs. We do not have a fenced in yard, but we have a small fenced in area out back. We are in a quiet, dog friendly neighborhood.
“If I could give Vu 10 Stars rating I would. For example, Vu was on his family vacation and I had sent him a text and right away he responded. Another example of Vu going beyond the scope of his job is that he came to pick up my dogs for a walk and noticed one of the dogs had vomited. Vu could've left the vomit there for me to clean up when I got home, but instead he cleaned up the mess and informed me. In addition, he has also pulled my garbage into the house. Being a single moms it's the little things Vu has done that has great tremendous help for me and my dogs. I can't speak highly enough of Vu. He's always letting me know if he's coming early or running late due to traffic. My dogs just loves Vu.”

About: I'm 55 so I have years of experience with dogs but love all animals. I have taken care of neighborhood dogs along with my mom's dog during her illness. I'm home most days and are very flexible to your needs I'm home most days and can be flexible to help out when needed. I'm able to pet sit, go for walks, feeding, and overnight stays if needed I have years of experience with dogs and will take great care of your pet as if they where my own! I've used Rover for my own pet sitting while on vacation etc.

I have 2 kids who love dogs they help me take care of the dogs. Private areas to separate dogs if needed. My dog is 12 and he is super chill he is more interested in humans than other dogs. Full time soldier. I am able to take pets out 3-4 times a day during the weekend. I work Monday-Friday I’m off on the weekends. On weekends we go on a ride to the dog parks in the truck. Big dogs in the bed in a seat belt harness small dogs inside the cabin. Pets are kept in crate/room when I’m not home. Willing to accommodate to whatever is needed. Take dogs on walks check for ticks after walks and play time outside. I have invisible fence around the house and multiple collars for dogs.
About: I attended the Technical College High School Brandywine Campus. There I attended the Veterinary Science class for 4 years. I did job shadowing at a veterinary clinic for 8 hours which was such a great experience . I am comfortable with different breeds and sizes. I have the knowledge on certain breeds. My classroom had a program called Doggy Daycare where we made sure the dogs had their walks, bathroom breaks and playtime as well as have them properly fed while their parents were away. I know basic grooming techniques like for example: nail clipping, coat brushing, ear cleaning and teeth cleaning. I am also comfortable with administering vaccines and oral medication. I’m familiar with tick and flea medications. I am able to work with dogs that have special diets. My main job is to make sure your dog(s) are well taken care of and to let the owner know that they don’t have to worry about your dog(s) while being away from them. About: My family and I love animals and have toe dogs and two cats of our own. I’ve taken care of animals since I was 12. I’ve watched friends and neighbors pets at their homes and kept them at ours. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can walk during the day and before and after work as well. I am able to housesit too because I can work from anywhere. I have two friendly dogs and we have an underground electric fence. We can take them out on leashes or if comfortable with the electric fence we use that as well.
“This weekend was our first experience with Rover, and Rachel was the best person to show us the way. She and our dog, Chino, hit it off right away at the Meet and Greet that Rachel suggested. During our trip, Rachel let us know about each interaction she had during her drop-in and walk sessions. We could see when she arrived, how long they walked and the route the took. But in addition, Rachel let us know how Chino wasdoing each time, (excited, cooperative, easy on the leash, hesitant, playfully, etc.) Rachel shared lots of pix as well. This put our minds at easy that Chino was being well looked after. We will certainly have Rachel as our first choice for future pet care needs! Rachel was awesome!”
About: I love animals so much that we have four pets of our own. Two pomsky dogs and two cats. I have experience in walking, bathing and picking up after dogs. I am comfortable giving oral medicine to pets. I really look forward to taking care of your furrbaby and will take care of your pet as if they were my own ❤️ I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to look after your pets! I am able to take your dogs on long walks/ play or look after your cats. Everyday I make sure our animals are well taken care of. They are given fresh water and food and taken out for bathroom breaks in between their walk. Our cats are greatly loved and shown affection.

About: I have always loved dogs and started caring for my friends and family’s when I was 12! Since then, I’ve found myself watching multiple dogs, staying the week at the pet owner’s home, and routine check ins for walks, feeding, and to let out. I have experienced strong and responsive dogs, so I feel confident caring for any type of dog! My part-time job does not start until June 22, so until then I have a wide open schedule! I also have my own car, so transportation will not be an issue! I treat every home as my own, leaving it the way I found it. “Tim and his family were great for our dog. He stayed with them for 5 days. Tim was good about communicating as we were setting up a meet and greet and also while he watched our dog. We weren't sure how our dog would get along with his 2 dogs, but his dogs were very friendly and sweet. We had no worries about them getting along. His whole family came out to meet our dog at the meet and greet. They were all very nice and you could tell they all like dogs. Our dog came back to us happy and healthy. “We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”
