“Wonderful experience ! Denise responded within minutes to my last minute request for pet care. She came by the day after we chatted online for a meet and greet. She was going to try and make a same day meet and greet ! The meet and greet left me relieved ! I knew we found that someone who we can trust to care for our cat, Arya. Denise communicated in great detail with us at every visit which made our get away more enjoyable. We knew that Arya ate and went potty as normal etc .. Our cat is shy and hides when people visit. She doesn’t come out until they leave. It became apparent that shy Arya was comfortable with Denise. We got lots of pictures of her playing with multiple favorite toys and looking happy ! It was clear from the photos that Denise took the time to connect with Arya. Each picture made us more relaxed and sooo happy ! Last minute we decided to stay another day but we had to check with Denise and her schedule etc.. She didn’t hesitate when I asked her .. she added another day of visits so that we could stay the extra day. I later found out that it was her birthday weekend too ! One last note … Denise checked in with us to make sure that we made it home safely from our trip, no doubt certain that Arya wasn’t left without care and that we were safe. I will never use another care giver for our cat in the future and I will refer her to as many people as I can.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is, my enthusiasm to get all of your animals outside having as much fun as we possibly can! I have been taking care of my own dogs for the past 4 years. Including giving medication, nail trimmings and everything else that comes along with being a pet parent! Pet care fits into my everyday routine because, I am currently taking care of 4 puppies for my grandparents. As well as helping my grandparents out with whatever they need assistance on. “Our terrier mix puppy has been going to Grace’s for a few weeks now (2x weekly for a full work day) and I can’t say enough good things! My husband and I found Grace because on the days my husband can’t come home during lunch, we didn’t want our puppy to be crated or left unattended all day. Grace and her family treat our puppy like their own dog, she becomes part of their family while she’s there. She gets tons of playtime, attention, affection. About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. There were always multiple cats and dogs in my home growing up. My husband, three children (15,13,11) and myself love pets and have take care of family and friends' pets quite often, including bunnies and chickens! We had a large labradoodle with special needs in the past and currently have another large labradoodle. I am comfortable with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes and with giving meds as needed. We would try to teach her new tricks. It gives us an excuse to get out of the house and take walks. I work full time until June 7th and then I’m home all summer. Nick works from home on Fridays, but works 7 minutes away and can come home during lunch to check on the dog and take him/her for a walk. We are usually home between 2:00 and 3:00. Our weekends are pretty much free. Taking care of dogs easily fits into our family schedule. We try to spend as much time outside as possible, so we would bring the dog on our walks and runs. About: I attended the Technical College High School Brandywine Campus. There I attended the Veterinary Science class for 4 years. I did job shadowing at a veterinary clinic for 8 hours which was such a great experience . I am comfortable with different breeds and sizes. I have the knowledge on certain breeds. My classroom had a program called Doggy Daycare where we made sure the dogs had their walks, bathroom breaks and playtime as well as have them properly fed while their parents were away. I know basic grooming techniques like for example: nail clipping, coat brushing, ear cleaning and teeth cleaning. I am also comfortable with administering vaccines and oral medication. I’m familiar with tick and flea medications. I am able to work with dogs that have special diets. My main job is to make sure your dog(s) are well taken care of and to let the owner know that they don’t have to worry about your dog(s) while being away from them. I have 2 kids who love dogs they help me take care of the dogs. Private areas to separate dogs if needed. My dog is 12 and he is super chill he is more interested in humans than other dogs. About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up with dogs, I was the kid who wanted to meet every pet I came across, and that passion has only grown into adulthood. Along with having my own two dogs and cat, I've spent years caring for the pets of friends and family, treating each one as if they were my own. I also worked as a stablehand at a local farm, where I cared for a wide variety of animals—including cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, goats, cows, and even swans. I've also volunteered with dog walking programs in the city, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. As a pet owner myself, I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your beloved companion with someone new. That's why my goal is to provide the same love, patience, and attention that I would want for my own pets. I believe communication, reliability, and attention to detail are incredibly important when caring for animals, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and routine. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cozy couch cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal schedule, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Caring for animals has always been more than a job to me—it's something I truly enjoy, and I would love to help you! Pet care fits easily into my routine! I work a typical 9–5 during the week and have some flexibility for evening visits, but I primarily focus on pet care on weekends. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to each pet and provide reliable, attentive care while you're away. I believe pets are happiest when they're able to stick to their normal routine, so I always do my best to follow each owner's instructions and provide care that's tailored to their pet's needs. Whether I'm stopping by for visits, going on walks, or caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'll keep up with feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and of course provide plenty of attention and updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: I have always loved dogs and started caring for my friends and family’s when I was 12! Since then, I’ve found myself watching multiple dogs, staying the week at the pet owner’s home, and routine check ins for walks, feeding, and to let out. I have experienced strong and responsive dogs, so I feel confident caring for any type of dog! My part-time job does not start until June 22, so until then I have a wide open schedule! I also have my own car, so transportation will not be an issue! I treat every home as my own, leaving it the way I found it. I also care for the dogs as I would care for my own, and make sure to follow any specific instructions!
About: My family and I love animals and have toe dogs and two cats of our own. I’ve taken care of animals since I was 12. I’ve watched friends and neighbors pets at their homes and kept them at ours. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can walk during the day and before and after work as well. I am able to housesit too because I can work from anywhere. I have two friendly dogs and we have an underground electric fence. We can take them out on leashes or if comfortable with the electric fence we use that as well.
About: I love animals so much that we have four pets of our own. Two pomsky dogs and two cats. I have experience in walking, bathing and picking up after dogs. I am comfortable giving oral medicine to pets. I really look forward to taking care of your furrbaby and will take care of your pet as if they were my own ❤️ I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to look after your pets! I am able to take your dogs on long walks/ play or look after your cats. Everyday I make sure our animals are well taken care of. They are given fresh water and food and taken out for bathroom breaks in between their walk. Our cats are greatly loved and shown affection.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is, my enthusiasm to get all of your animals outside having as much fun as we possibly can! I have been taking care of my own dogs for the past 4 years. Including giving medication, nail trimmings and everything else that comes along with being a pet parent! Pet care fits into my everyday routine because, I am currently taking care of 4 puppies for my grandparents. As well as helping my grandparents out with whatever they need assistance on. I will do whatever you ask me to do to care for your animals the right way! I will also make sure they get plenty of outside time to get that energy out!

But in addition, Rachel let us know how Chino wasdoing each time, (excited, cooperative, easy on the leash, hesitant, playfully, etc.) Rachel shared lots of pix as well.
