“We adopted a sweet 3-month old puppy from a shelter only a few weeks shy of our week-long vacation. Clearly not the best timing, and I'd worried who would watch the newest (teething/chewing, still house-training, very active, yet also very loved) member of our family. We'd selected Michell after noting the 5-star rating and significant number of repeat customers, and it was the right choice! Not only did they efficiently and professionally handle drop-off and pick-ups, they were wonderful about communicating with us and seemed to take great care of our puppy (no easy feat, as anyone who has owned a puppy can attest!). They sent multiple pictures daily with updates, which eased our minds while we were on the trip. Because they board a small number of dogs, our pup had a chance to socialize with other dogs, but still remain in a home environment with a large, fenced in yard. They were also incredibly understanding about what puppy care entails (even the messy parts!) and kindly shared their own experience having rescued and raised/trained multiple puppies themselves. Additionally, in one week, our puppy came back to us better behaved even, and we're fairly certain we have Mitchell and his husband to thank! We will definitely be reaching out to them again, and we're confident our pup will be glad to see her friends again during our/her next vacation!”

The best part is she gave a detailed report of what was going on each day that included tons of photos of our kittens. Over the 5 days, she took over 50 pictures for us (13 of them in one day). She made us feel so secure and comfortable while we were away knowing our furry babies were well looked after that we were able to have a super vacation free from worry. About: I’ve owned and cared for cats, dogs, fish, rodents and reptiles for more than 45 years. I would be happy to share the love with your furry (or otherwise) family members too. I currently have a sheepadoodle that loves other dogs and people, so he would love to have a playmate to come and take walks and spend time with us. About: Animals have been my life since BEFORE I was born. My mother and Godmother owned horses and I grew up training dogs. I now have 2 cats and 1 dog who are the sweetest ever! I work full time in Vet Medicine so your pet will always have access to care should they need it during their stay. I work full time but only 20 minutes from home. Walks and meals will take place between 6am-7am with a midday drop in/walk. Evenings will have longer walks and play time before dinner and bed. I have 2 friendly cats and 1 loving dog. They love to make friends! While I don't have a fenced in yard, walks are PRIORITY, usually going on 2-3 per day or more on the weekends. I have a crate should I need to crate my dog (or yours if that is your preference) during the day/nights. I also have cameras to ensure I have a constant eye on the babies as they nap throughout the day.

We also took care of 2 generations of Rottweilers, so for as long as I can remember, I have had pets. Since moving to Philly in 2016, my family has rescued a Cat (Rocket) and a Shih Tzu (Betty White). Needless to say, if given the opportunity I will make sure to give not only care for, but love your pet! I am currently home full time. Feel free to reach out - I am available early mornings and nights, and for drop ins or house sittings when needed. I am also open to last minute bookings. I live with a family of 4. We live in a home in a very quiet neighborhood near Cobbs creek - with trails and parks within the vicinity. We currently do not have any of our own pets, but any pets we have cared for had the luxury of enjoying outdoors at almost any hour and to meet and play with other pets at different parks. Ian was friendly and great to communicate with. He kept us informed on how Jovie was doing and sent us photos and video updates throughout the weekend. “I was very happy with the care Luna received during her visit at Sarah’s! Luna has always been timid around other dogs, but she made some doggy friends while there, even letting them rest in her crate with her! Sarah took wonderful care of her, sending us pictures and even bathing her the day we picked Luna up! Definitely recommend Sarah and will have Luna visit again if we are out of town.”

“It was my first time having to leave my dog, Max, with someone he did not know, and meeting Laura before going on my trip was very helpful. I felt very comfortable leaving him with her. She keeps you updated and answers questions promptly. Laura sent pictures and videos to show how Max was doing, which I really appreciated. If I need a sitter again I will definitely bring Max back to Laura, and I know he'll feel comfortable, and I will feel better about leaving him.”
