I'm not the type of person to just quickly check-in on a dog and let them outside- I play with them, give them attention, exercise them. I work part time and random hours, so I wake up early to let my dogs out, then feed them at 8 and again at 4. One of my dogs is hyperactive and guards her food so each of her meals is a training session. I usually make her walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes and follow various commands while I hand-feed her meals. My animals are never alone for more than 4 hours at a time, so they get to go out many times. I don't have a fenced in yard so they are always on a leash. All of my animals are friendly towards other dogs, cautious with cats. My apartment is somewhat small, so I would prefer to work in a client's home. In that situation I would stop in as many times as the client prefers. I take my time to play with the animals under my care and give them attention. I do my best to make sure they never feel lonely.

If you are looking to board in my home I suggest a meet & greet to make sure your furbabies and mine are safe for their stay. I care for my clients furbabies like they are my own. I make sure the furbabies are happy and healthy. I will make sure my clients needs and wants are met. If you need me to watch them at your house, your house will be treated like my home. I will make sure your home is like you left it. I love to send updates because I know leaving your furbabies is really nerve wrecking.
About: I've had a plethora of animals over my 35 years of existence. Dog breeds include a Labrador, Border Collie, Beagle, German Shepard, and Chihuahua. Other species include six rats, one guinea pig, three rabbits, two corn snakes, and a bearded dragon. I do not have any children, and I'm living with my father. Together, we have two dogs, (one his, and the other mine), a garage cat (his), and a bearded dragon (mine). His dog is a German Shepard named Wren, and mine is a Chihuahua named Milo. Additionally, I quit the job I've had for years, so I have a fairly flexible schedule. All of our animals have schedules for everything. Potty breaks, food times, etc. We keep it fairly strict, but also know how to read our animals, and so the schedule is subject to slight changes. I can adapt, and learn new schedules for clients.
About: I had only dogs for many many years and absolutely love dogs! I then moved abroad for the past 12 years and due to living in a building which allowed no dogs I decided instead to invest in a kitten.. Here we are, years later and I've become rather cat crazy! We have 4, 3 of which we brought with us all the way from the UK to love with us here in Danville. I love how each cat carries their own personality, likes, dislikes and quirks and I have learned to be patient a great deal thanks to these little flurries of fur. I also once owned rabbits, chickens, peacocks, fish, a squirrel named "Giblet" and spent time around cows and pigs as well. Animals give us warmth and love, be it a cozy chihuahua or a frowning lizard and I love them all! I am new here in town and wish to establish myself as a carer and guardian of your pets when you need a hand. I genuinely will love and cherish them in the short time I might spend with them.. We have just moved here from the UK in mid 2024. Our 4 cats are the biggest part of our lives and as I work from home I am so attached to them! That freedom can also allow me to care for your pet as well and love them as if they were my own while you are away! For now I have decided to offer myself up to visit your home when you wish to feed, walk and play with your pets as well as those necessary litter box details if you have cats.. About: Large Animal Science graduate, have completed the vet tech, dog grooming, and agility courses at BCAHS. Experience with diverse/exotic animal caretaking rolls, canine cpr certified, lots of experience with difficult dog breeds. My schedule with work is very flexible. Usually I tend to walk my dog for a 1-2 hours a day. It is extremely important that my dog Nala gets exercise each day to make sure she stays happy and healthy. Sometimes I also take my cat on the walks as well (he loves spending time outside with his sister with his harness and leash on!). Weekends have much more flexibility with my schedule. It is extremely important to make sure that any animal feels comfortable in their environment. Giving them the opportunity to take bathroom breaks and keeping pets on their normal schedule is very important. Giving pets access to fresh drinking water, specific foods, and medications as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.
About: I have cared for animals for over 10 years on my own, which included letting them out taking them on walks, feeding them cleaning up outside bathing them. I also volunteer at shelters to help care for their animals. I also have experience with service dog training, cat care, and pet first aid & CPR. I work a full time job on a rotation night shift schedule-(I'm nocturnal! About: I've grown up with multiple dogs at a time, never had a period of time where I was not around dogs. I've raised them from birth to passing away. I love playing with them, caring for them, being there for them and providing love to them. I love going for walks in the parks, around development, etc. Whatever the pup/dog likes to do is fine with me, I have a lot of history with them so I'd be more than happy to provide for any dog! I do have a lot of references just not on rover, they can be provided upon speaking/meeting! I am very accommodating and can stick to your pets schedule as close as possible to yours! I can work my schedule around whatever is needed for care. For example, pets needing strict medicine schedule. I do work during the day but am available with notice! I can provide drop in visits, pet taxi to groomers or vets, dog parks, etc. Cages would need to be provided especially for multiple pets while I am out of the home. Pets have full range of the home. We have gates for the stairs at top and bottom!
