My dog is quite skidish about new dogs, new environments and new people. This was no challenge for Cheryl. She was able to ease my dogs insecurities right away and allowed her 2 dogs time to meet our little girl on her terms and very cautiously. Cheryl was flexible with my drop off and pick up times and communicated with me throughout the entire stay with updates and photos. She also provided my dog with medications for her skin and gave us great feedback on how I may be able to better care for her allergies. About: **please note I have a day job that takes me away from my house M-F from 5:30am until 4:15pm…all boarded pets will be let out to potty immediately upon returning home ** I have been taken care of dogs for over 15 years. My first dog 2 when I adopted him and I cared for him until he crossed over the rainbow bridge when he passed at 10yrs old. I also raised two puppies from 8 weeks until they crossed over as well. I work full time away from home Monday thru Friday, so your pet would be alone for about 8hrs week days. I will make sure they are let out before I leave and let out again immediately once I return home. I am able to walk dogs / check in on family pets after 4:30pm on week days. I have a deck and a 6ft tall fenced in yard. I do not have small children in my home. I also do not have any other pets that may not get along with another dog. My cat doesn’t always allow new people to take care of him but he did with her. She even took my Golden for a sleepover at her house so my dog wouldn’t need to be crated for a long time. My grandparents owned a farm so I have experience with many farm animals, and growing up we had two dogs, multiple cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I have helped care for and watch others fur/feathered/scaley babies since as long as I can remember. I am not medically certified in anyway, but have extensive knowledge of medicines, administering medicines, CPR, and First AID. I am constantly researching behavior/training methods, daily food/treat quality, and grooming techniques. My dream has always been to work in the animal care field, especially grooming. I currently own my own pet dryer along with various grooming tools, and if wanted I can obtain the knowledge for grooming your fur baby. About: **please note I have a day job that takes me away from my house M-F from 5:30am until 4:15pm…all boarded pets will be let out to potty immediately upon returning home ** I have been taken care of dogs for over 15 years. My first dog 2 when I adopted him and I cared for him until he crossed over the rainbow bridge when he passed at 10yrs old. I also raised two puppies from 8 weeks until they crossed over as well. I work full time away from home Monday thru Friday, so your pet would be alone for about 8hrs week days. I will make sure they are let out before I leave and let out again immediately once I return home. I am able to walk dogs / check in on family pets after 4:30pm on week days. I have a deck and a 6ft tall fenced in yard. I do not have small children in my home. I also do not have any other pets that may not get along with another dog.
