I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. They truly love dogs, understand dog behavior, and provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment. I would not hesitate to book with them again.”

“I was really worried about leaving my dog for the Thanksgiving holiday as I was visiting in-laws who are not really dog lovers. I chose Kira but honestly wasn’t sure how things would go as my precious dog is 14 years old and she is very finicky. After speaking with Kira and visiting how she cares for the pets while in her care was just what I needed. After dropping my pouch off I still was nervous. About: I've worked with animals of all sizes since I was 12 years old. From volunteering on farms and ranches, to caring for small exotic animals and dogs of my own, I love animals of all sorts and enjoy just spending time with them whenever I can. I've spent the better part of my life involved with animals, I've pet sit for a number of families and have even worked on rehabilitating abandoned horses. About: I've adopted many dogs, but started pet sitting for my much needed "fix" when my kids left the nest and couldn't help if i got another dog while I worked. I have dog sat at other people's house, at my house and do love senior dogs as much as young ones. I'm now retired and want to love on dogs. I just retired so i'm quite flexible. I love walking in general, and would enjoy the company of a pooch or 2. I'm good for just the day, overnight or extended needs. I always considered my own dogs as being family members. That said, they are allowed on the furniture. I have a small fenced back yard if your pooch doesn't want to walk in the rain or needs a late evening potty break. During the daytime, I like to walk a lot so your place or mine to give your dog's legs a stretch. I always have dogs on leash, no free running dogs are allowed in my development. About: I started taking care of dogs since I was 12. I have exp. walking dogs. Cleaning up after them, giving food/water, potty breaks. Cleaning cages. I'm not working right now. Trying to find something. Our house is quiet & laid back. I'm available during the day. Both my dogs are friendly & like to play. I have a 6ft privacy fence in yard. 2 spayed female dogs & 1 cat. They usually just hang out around the house. I let them out when needed & wander the yard.

“Melissa and Dan were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Princess Leia. She’s a small terrier and very much a COVID puppy, so she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs. I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. They truly love dogs, understand dog behavior, and provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment. I would not hesitate to book with them again.”

About: I've had previous experiences with dog sitting /care, not only my roommate's poodle but also my brother's pit bull. treat all pets the same as if they were mine. i find activity we both can do to make their day. I do work part-time for Amazon, but I can work with being flexible with my schedule. Weekdays -morning and afternoon, preferred 8 am- 10 pm; weekends- Sundays mainly all day The neighborhood is dog-friendly. I have dog treats & toys as well. I can provide some essentials noted in advance. I'll make sure I note everything we did for the day and that everything is well maintained in your household.

“My husband and I agree that Chasity has been a GODSEND We were getting on our apartment renovated and anticipated having her watch our baby for two weeks… Two weeks turned into six and we could not have chosen a better person to watch our little guy. She is so sweet and caring and took great care of him. She lets him play with other dogs that visit, but only takes nice dogs so we were never worried for a second. She has a great yard that allows the dogs to go out and play all day weather permitting. I can’t believe how happy he looks in the photos she sends! When we visit he is so so happy. About: I’ve taken care of neighbors dogs for a few years now and still occasionally take care of family dogs! I love spending time with pets! I work part time only, so I have plenty of time to care for your furry friend! I can be very flexible and attentive to your animal’s needs! I have a gated backyard and an open front yard. I take animals on long walks and to dog parks as well! I have treats for them and can use whatever you provide whether it be food, bedding, or toys!
