About: As an experienced dog foster, I have cared for more than 25 dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs, representing a wide variety of breeds and sizes. In addition, I was the proud owner of four dogs who each lived long, happy lives and reached their senior years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the important role pets play as beloved members of the family. As a school teacher, I enjoy a very flexible schedule during the summer months and would love the opportunity to support families who need a safe, loving temporary home for their four-legged companions. Whether your pet needs overnight care, companionship during the day, or some extra exercise and attention, I am committed to providing the same level of care and affection that I would give my own dogs. As a teacher, I am currently on summer break, so I have availability daily throughout the week for play sessions and dog walks. I am also available for multi-night lodging. When you’re here, you’re family. Any animal under my care will be treated as one of my own. But with me, you get a whole family who are all trained in caring for dogs and cats, as each member of the household has been involved with fostering pups and raising kitties. The second floor of the house is separated by a door at the top of the stairs to allow separation between feline and canine friends if needed. Daily photos and FaceTime are available. We have multiple-sized dog crates if crating is requested. Although we may be new faces to your four legged companions, we will try to keep consistency in the rules you have at your home. If they are allowed on your couch, then they will be here. Feeding schedule will be dictated by how they ate at home. Walks will be frequent and there is a huge box of dog toys and cat toys to keep them entertained.

About: I have been working at a Pet Resort for over a 2 years. I work at Neffsville Veterinary Clinic. I have two dogs of my own. I enjoy caring for dogs and playing with them and or just relaxing with them. I am currently working part-time. 2-4 days a week 6 hour shifts. Meaning more time with pets. I will be having a baby in February! So cat litter is something I cannot handle at this time. When I am there I will take them out as much as they would like. Additionally, I've been a dog mom to 5 incredible souls: Freckles (English cocker spaniel), Lily (golden retriever), Bartlett (collie mix), Lenny (American cocker spaniel/pekenese mix), and now Sunny (a 2-year-old golden retriever mix). Whether your pets love activity or simply want someone to watch them sniff in the backyard or hang on the couch, I'd love to bring a highlight to their day. Right now, Friday nights through Sunday are the times I have completely free to dedicate to helping take care of your pets. I'm hoping to add more times soon and options to board. As someone who searches for hours to find the right person to watch my pets, I know how hard it can be to trust someone new to take care of your fur family. Whether it's pictures, reassuring texts, following your instructions exactly, or all 3 I will do my best to make your pets as happy and healthy as possible. I offer drop in visits and walks, so please let me know what you are and aren't comfortable with and I will make sure they are well cared for while giving you as many updates as you'd like!
About: It's nice to meet you! My name is Jess. I have always loved having pets of my own, including my two doodles! I also grew up with a cat and a dog. I am an educator who enjoys taking care of pets; I have worked through Rover for about 5 years now, primarily doing bookings during summers. Over the years, I have watched pets for family members many times. I have stayed at their houses or made frequent visits. I understand the importance of exercise for dogs, and am committed to keeping that routine. I am responsible, helpful, friendly, and passionate about caring for pets and people too. I can even keep up with simple pet grooming, per request. It would be a joy to care for your pet(s) any time! I am located in Manheim, PA and I am willing to travel to homes within about 5 miles. Flexibility in times for drop-ins would be helpful for me. I will maintain familiar care routines by your instructions so that your fur baby feels comfortable and happy. “Had a meet and greet with Betsy for our corgi, Maggie ,last Thursday. Today Maggie spent 4 hours with Betsy. Betsy was excellent with her and their home and environment is dog friendly. Betsy has also been very responsive to any texts or requests that I have sent to her. We have arranged for Maggie to have a sleep-over in July!”
