“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was in my 20s. I have crate and potty trained all my dogs. I have patience and compassion for dogs. I would often meet up with friends and family at house party gathering and dog park gatherings to socialize my dogs and to show them love, companionship, and that they are a member of the family not only a pet. I've kept and cared for dogs until there dying age and paid for there cremation. I am indeed a dog loving person. I am currently taking care of my mom who has dementia 24/7 and I am home with her all day. The only days I'm out the house is when my mom or myself have a doctor's appointment. About: I’ve always been a dog family, growing up with always 2 dogs or more in my family households. When I was 20, I adopted my soul dog Dusty, who was extremely dog reactive. He showed me a lot of how to deal with reactive dogs, especially on walks and dealing with strangers who may not get that their dog may be friendly, but yours may need that extra space to be comfortable. I now also own two cats, adopted from the local shelter Paws and they have become my life. They are very clingy but also shy towards strangers. So I also very understand if you own some shy cats, I would love them just the same! I currently live all year in State College, work full time but still have plenty of time for my cats and still have more time for others. Just let me know 24 hours ahead or more and it can happen! I am fully comfortable crating all kinds of dogs, walking any breed, or dealing with any shy temperamental cat. I have 3 cats and if your dog does not like cats, they are perfectly fine hanging out in the basement during your dog's stay. This is my 7th year pet sitting. I am very reliable and have pet sat for my neighbors, friends and family's pets. I volunteered for a pet shelter for six months cleaning cages and walking dogs. About: I I worked with animals at Wyomissing animal Hospital as a kennel tech where I will take care of them after surgery before surgery while they’re ill on boarding, I would walk them feed them medicate them if needed. I also worked at leesport pet resort where I would walk animals I have experience with cats, dogs, large, and small breed I do take care of my grandchildren in the morning, so pet care fits into my schedule as I am very flexible. I worked at why missing animal Hospital in the kennel as a kennel technician I used to take care of the animals and their surgery and gave medication as needed. Also walked at dogs took care of the cats before and after surgery as well. I will be walking dogs at my home. I live on a farm so they will be kept on leash and all times when the outside and being walked in exercise daily not just for a potty break. Also in the client’s home I would go in let them out walk them take care of them give them medication if they are needed to have medication throughout the day.
About: Hi!! My name is Shana, I have 4 fur-babies of my own that my husband & I treat like our kids. We Celebrate their birthdays, get presents for Christmas and go on vacation with us. They have their own room and beds. My pups have lots of toys so you don’t have to worry about bringing any, as we can share!! We have a fenced in yard with plenty of running space and a screened in porch right at the entrance door (to the side of house) which leads out to the fenced in yard . I have had all sorts of animals throughout my life: chickens, rabbits, cats, goats, ducks & of course dogs, all thru sickness and health.
