About: We have been married for 37 years and we have always had a dog. Georgie, our Cavapoo,is our fur baby. He’s a spayed 4 year old playful male. We live very close to a dog park where we take him to play often. We have a fenced yard and an acre and a half of green space. My wife and I are retired. We are up till around 11 at night and wake around 8:30. After coffee, we usually play some tennis or lounge by our pool. We take our Cavapoo to the local dog park for outdoor playtime in the evening when the temperature is cooler. We also play indoors through out the day. We sit down to watch tv around 8:00 and Georgie is usually on a lap snoozing. Our home is a non smoking home with CO2/smoke detectors in every room, basement and top floor. Those are all linked so if one goes by off they all go off. The yard is fenced due to a swimming pool. It will be covered in October with a cover that supports my weight. We are in a rural area with deer, squirrels, and various other wildlife. Our children are all adult and we are empty nesters at this point. We are currently not watching our grand sons, though they do drop in to visit.

Even before drop-off, I needed to change the date and time twice, and Stephen was extremely accommodating and understanding. He and his daughter gave our cats lots of attention. I think they are better brushed than when they are with us. Stephen sent photos and updates twice during our 6-day trip, and I'm sure would have sent more of I had asked.”

Upon our initial meet n’ greet Michelle was professional yet really down-to-earth which helped to make me feel like I was leaving Bear with a dear friend. Her love for dogs was obvious from the first meet. It was raining on the day we met and Michelle without hesitation sat on the ground to greet Bear and he took a liking to her immediately! Throughout Bear’s stay Michelle took Bear everywhere. He enjoyed his long walks in the park and trips to friends. Each time I visited I was excited to see how comfortable and relaxed Bear’s temperament was and how much he had grown. You’ll understand in the next few paragraphs.... I am so grateful for Michelle for many things yet, there are three things I’d like to mention here that meant the world to me which is why I would highly recommend anyone looking for a caring, loving, genuine, dog-mom to consider Michelle. Firstly, I informed Michelle early on that I hadn’t socialized Bear very much at all in the past. This was somewhat of a concern for me as I was rehoming Bear and having him feel more comfortable with strangers and other dogs would help him. Michelle willing and successfully socialized Bear with strangers and other dogs as well as provided me with regular updates on his progress. She’s done amazing work with Bear which I will be forever grateful for! And, Bear’s a happier dog because of it!!!! Secondly, having to rehome Bear was and is truly a difficult decision. Bear recently loss his dog companion brother of 7 years to cancer, separated from his dog-father and he had to relocate to another state. So Bear has experienced much loss and changes over the past few months. However, with Michelle boarding Bear until his adoption was complete helped to provide Bear with stability - one-loving-home-to-stay. She cared for his every need, played with him, kissed and hugged him, and really really spoiled him! :) Lastly, during the rehome process Michelle willing participated in the meet n’ greets and offered her experiences with Bear with potential adoptees. She both traveled and welcomed them into her home. Most, most. most importantly is how instrumental she was in helping me to get Bear adopted. She without my asking created amazing n’ adorable YouTube adoption videos of Bear for me to upload on Bear’s online adoption profiles. I also uploaded some of the pics she took of Bear during his stay. As of this review, Bear has an awesome new dog-mommy and I give much of the credit to Michelle, most definitely!!!! Michelle was-is a life-saver for both me and Bear. And, on top of everything I made a great friend....Thank you Michelle!!!!!”
About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember! My experience with dogs started when I was just 4 years old, when my grandmother raised Cocker Spaniels. Growing up, I was also lucky enough to have dogs and cats of my own, which helped me develop a genuine love and understanding of animals. We left Yianna with quite a challenge: three dogs, three different breeds, and three very different sets of needs. We dropped them off early in the morning and picked them up in the afternoon, and we felt confident knowing our dogs were safe, supervised, and well cared for. Our youngest dog is an intact male who became a little dominant during his stay. Yianna handled the situation calmly and confidently, made an appropriate correction, and ensured the behavior did not happen again. Her experience, judgment, and flexibility were greatly appreciated! About: I have been dog sitting and dog walking for 10 years now. I love it and wouldn't change it for the world. I live in a full fenced yard with a swimming pool! I work from home every day! I can help bath, feed, and give medications. I care for all dogs of any size and any breed. I have a dog myself (she is a 2 year old vizsla) and take her on 5 mile walks daily. I have 3 young boys that love animals and will play and run until they are all tired! I work from home every day and my schedule is very flexible. I can stop in to check on the dog or take them for a walk. I have a fully fenced in yard. If the dog needs crated, I have that as well. They will feel right at home at my house.

About: I am a lover of all animals, they are my world. I look forward to taking care of your furry friends as if they were my own. I am an owner and operator of a dog grooming business in the Lewisberry area. I also have owned dogs and other animals most of my life. I have taken care of my neighbors, friends and family's dogs, cats, and other pets. I always have had a special bond with animals and enjoy time spent with them. Through the years I've raised orphaned bunnies, birds, and squirrels. Most of what I know is self taught by experience, books, or by asking questions to other animal people and veterinary . About: I grew up on an 80 Acre Farm with everything from small to large animals. I had 3 dogs growing up I cared for. I worked on animal farms most of my life. I have a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science (Specialization in Equine) from Delaware Valley University. I was an Equestrian Center Manager after Graduating College. Not only did I care for 40 horses I also took care of the cats and dogs on the farm. I love animals, and I am highly educated on taking care of them. I work from home, so I am around to pet sit and care for the animals. We have a beautiful fully fenced back yard with plenty of room to roam and play in and out throughout the day. I can take them for several walks per day since I work from home. I can let them out in the fenced in back yard. Play with them, give them attention. They can play with Cooper and Bella also. Feeding twice a day or however is requested.

I also will maintain open communication with you regarding any concerns or changes in your pets behavior. I’m currently in online school for my Medical Assistant (MA) license, which gives me a very flexible and open schedule. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets throughout the day, including walks, drop-ins, and extended care when needed. About: I have had 8 years of experience dog sitting, hosting, walking and staying at others homes for dog sitting. I love dogs and as I think cats are cute, I am allergic and unfortunately cannot watch them. I love dogs of all sizes and ages! I love boys or girls! I have my dog who enjoys chilling or playing with the dogs depending on what the other dog prefers. Pet care fits with my routine as I am hybrid for work and only live 10 mins away from my job. It is easy for me to run home over lunch to check on the dog I’m watching or if close by take out. I make time to spend with the dog I am watching and that they feel comfortable in my home. While dogs are in my home, I treat them like my own. They are able to sleep with me, be on furniture, etc. I take them for walks to get exercise. With parent permission I make ice cream treats (blueberries & Greek yogurt frozen together) and give them to the dog. I make sure they feel comfortable, are fed and have plenty of water. If a parent would like me to administer meds or give a bath, I am happy to do so!
About: There has always been a pet in the home since childhood, I’ve watched and taken care of 5 personally owned dogs from puppyhood to adulthood! I have babysat my aunts cat Tammy for a few months now, and I have taken care of my own dog Maestro when my parents are on vacation, or need an extra pick-me-up. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 9 years old, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I grew up with the sweetest Saint Bernard and have had 5 adorable kitties over the years. I like to call myself a professional cat entertainer. In 2023, I finally got my own fur baby who is spoiled rotten and my favorite thing in the world. I pet and house sit regularly for my friends and neighbors with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even some horses. Sometimes that means staying overnight because one pup has bad separation anxiety, so I’m comfortable giving extra love and attention. Cats might be my favorite to work with but I love all cuties just the same! I’m working full time and right now, I get off work around 2:30pm. I am available for 30 minutes during the work day on my lunch break and during the afternoon/ nights. I have a large back yard and fenced in pool area for dogs with lots of room in the house for laying, playing, or exploring. I currently do not own a dog so any visiting dogs should bring with their favorite toys for extra entertainment. I am not living in a development but have plenty of walking trails in close proximity, including Big Boyd’s Tree Preserve, Front Street, Fort Hunter, and Wildwood Park. There are 3 cats living in the house who have been acclimated to dogs. We have separate rooms for visiting cats to stay with extra litter boxes, scratching posts, an abundance of toys, and a few humans to play with and love on.
