About: I’ve taken care of cats for 16+ years, my dog for 7 years and counting, and I briefly worked at Canine Clubhouse for almost 2 months. I am available for dog sitting, doggy daycare, and cat sitting since I am a stay at home mom to my 2 amazing boys and I have 1 dog and 2 cats. At home my cats are grazers and eat when they want to and my dog gets fed twice a day with a mix of dry and wet food and has to be let outside on a leash because our backyard is not currently fenced in.

About: I am a full time stay at home mom and am excited to care for your fur babies. I have been a pet sitter for over 15 years and have experience with all kinds of domestic pets as well as farm pets. Please send me a message if you have special requests or have more than one pet. I am very accommodating to your fur babies. I am very skilled with giving medicine to dogs and cats as I have to do this with my babies. I am also able to follow your feeding instructions if you raw feed your pet. We do not have a fenced in yard (yet) so your pet will be leash walked on our 5 acre land. We also have tethering, all pets are supervised at all times. I have 3 toddlers who may accompany me when visiting or taking care of your pet. If your pet is not child friendly, I may be able to work around this. I am a full time stay at home mom and am able to add your fur baby into the mix and adjust to your schedule. 🐾 Special Note on Unneutered Dogs: If you have an intact male, please reach out prior to booking as my rate for unfixed dogs is twice my standard base rate. Because my own neutered male is reactive to unneutered males, hosting an intact dog requires intensive behavioral management. I also provide several toys and chew toys that are usually left out for them to play with (unless requested not to). Meals are kept on schedule and any mediation or vitamins are administered on-time. Water is always filtered and clean, changed daily (or use a continuous running system). Safety is my top priority. I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I have several rooms in the house that are not used, so I keep this space reserved for your pets. I will collect your vet information at booking and take your pet to their vet if necessary; I also am a member of the local Dauphin County Animal Hospital, which I can use if needed for emergencies. If your animals are staying in our home, they’ll have access to a spacious yard where dogs can play and run freely. We also have a small dog and a cat who are well-socialized and have done well with other animals during previous stays. However, if any pets need to be separated for comfort or safety, our home is set up to accommodate that easily and without stress. Our main services include boards and drop ins. We also offer house sitting services; however, please note that we are not available for overnight stays at this time. We have a large, open yard where dogs can play and get plenty of exercise, as well as a designated playpen area in our basement for indoor fun and safety. I've potty trained, taught tricks, and have done special care when needed. I love to go on long hikes and bring my dog with me! I go on walks about 3 times a day, as my dog is very active. Feel free to ask me questions! I would love to watch your pup. :) I'm available for pet sitting any day of the week at any times! I can handle seniors aswell as active dogs. I would love to spend time with your pup. I have one super friendly dog that loves to play and gets along great with cats. I go on 3 walks a day with my pup. She is very active and friendly. Your pup will be able to relax and also get the outside time they need. I have a big fenced in backyard perfect for running around and playing.

“Amanda was very nice, it appeared she was kind to him, and Tweety seemed to be happy with his stay with Amanda and her family. The living quarters were nice and they were clean. She understood all my concerns and why I had them. I feel she is a good fit for Tweety and I. I feel comfortable with another visit. I feel much better today (December 2, 2025) since I was able get out and relax. This was a first for me getting out for a day and doing something for myself. Tweety seemed to be happy with the experience he had with Amanda and her family.”
“Instant karma. Bronx quickly became a velcro dog to Jen and she got roped into his boo boo eyes. He adapted to her 3 little ones (and they to him) such that they could lounge in proximity on the deck out back. Jen will most certainly be a go-to sitter for us in the future. “Laura took care of our bernedoodle for 7 days and we trusted her from day one. Laura provided updates everyday with pictures and videos of Chip having a vacation himself! It was great he was able to play with other dogs during his stay and a nice backyard to play in. Laura was also diligent and detailed in following the detailed instructions and tips while taking care of Chip. Highly recommend!”
