Daisy is quite reactive to other dogs and small children, but they were able to provide a safe and comfortable home for her while my family was out of town. Beyond excelling at basic care, Anthony and Leslie showered love and attention on Daisy throughout the week. We appreciated the frequent pictures and videos that Anthony sent throughout the week (avg 4 per day) showing Daisy in such bliss - ready for belly rubs, watching squirrels, resting and relaxing, and going for long walks. About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

About: I had cats from 1985-2010 so I've had plenty of kitty experience, including two cats that were diabetic so I had to administer insulin daily. As for litter boxes, as long as there are enough to makes the cats happy, that's a good thing. I don't currently have a cat because after my last one passed away I turned my focus onto K9 search and rescue so I had a lot of strange dogs visiting which isn't good if you also have cats - it can be stressful for both!

I work from home Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and I am gone on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from about 10-4, so I am almost always home aside from the occasional errands. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, I can always run home in the middle of the day if a potty break is needed. Accidents are ok too. Mine has had a few over the years. Your dog will never be in trouble if this happens. You won’t have to worry about your dogs when they are with me. They will be treated like family. I work from home, so your pets will rarely be left alone. When they are, it is just for brief periods for when I running errands. I have a fenced in yard and w very friendly fur baby of my own. I can let them out frequently and always supervise outside even though my yard is fenced. I am able to feed them if they are here during meal time. I will just need to know if your dog is food possessive so I can make sure they eat separately from my dog. Unfortunately I can’t leave your dogs food down throughout the day because my dog will eat it.

About: I have had pets ever since I was a small child: dogs, cats, hamster, gerbils, chinchilla, parakeet, turtles, even a toad that we saved from a freezing winter. We took care of it till spring and then released it. I love animals of all types. Almost, I'm not babysitting your tarantula or pet snake. My dog and cat are loved as if they were my children and your dog will be treated this way as well. We enjoy taking walks and car rides to the dog park in nice days. I never allow my dog outside without me. I am semi-retired and I work from home painting and repairing furniture and working on various crafts. Therefore I am very flexible with my time. I live in a decent sized 2 story home with a large back yard. It is not fenced all the way so my dog is always on a cable or leash. We live to go for walks and to the dog park for extra exercise. I rarely host multiple families of dogs at one time (might be some overlap on pickup/drop off days) and prefer to focus on a quality experience for the dog over multiple bookings. If you make a request and I tell you it’s not a good fit at this time, it’s because I have carefully considered the safety and happiness of another client. Your pet will not be left unattended for extended periods of time during the day. I know firsthand how stressful it can be to find quality pet care and pride myself on being dependable and responsive. I take the responsibility of caring for your animal seriously. I live in a rural area on a road with very little traffic. We have two horses, chickens and two dogs on our 14 acre property. I do not have a fenced area and use tie outs for porch lounging and hand walking for potty runs. Your pet will have access to the main floor of my house (no stairs) including furniture (if allowed). The ability to change the floor plan also allows to separate animals if beneficial.

About: Hello! My name is Izzy, I’m 21 years old, and I’m going into my senior year at Penn State while working at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp. I’m so excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve grown up with having dogs in my household all my life, from a 4 1/2 lb. Chihuahua to a chunky Toy Fox Terrier to a mighty but loving Rottweiler-Black Lab mix. I’ve also been tasked with taking care of my neighbor’s and friend’s dogs over the years, whether that be stopping over to give them food, bathroom breaks, and cuddles, or even staying overnight over the span of a week so the dog(s) don’t feel alone. Therefore, I’m hoping to be the best fit for you, too! Outside of dogs, I love to be in our pool when the weather is warm and being able to do so with my family, pick up new crafting hobbies like scrapbooking or embroidery, and go to concerts of a variety of artists (43 concerts and counting!), most recently being 5 Seconds of Summer. I can’t wait to start this opportunity and hopefully bring some relief to someone in need of dog-helping needs! I’m currently working part-time at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp., and the schedule always fluctuates between 4-6 hour shifts. At home, I assist in letting our dogs play in our fenced-in backyard, giving them treats when they’ve behaved or done a trick we’ve taught them (sit and “paw”), taking them on neighborhood walks when it’s nice outside, assuring that their food and water are filled, and playing with them to get their zoomies out before everyone starts winding down for the night. Outside of my home, if there is not a fenced-in backyard, I’ve taken the dog(s) outside on leashes for bathroom purposes, as well as do all actions mentioned above from what I do at home. Some houses have also had puppy pads when necessary, and I always take appropriate measures to clean up any messes and re-lay down a fresh puppy pad.

About: I grew up with a border collie, and used to sit for numerous friends dogs. I absolutely adore dogs, and I am experienced in administering medication to them as well. I have an 8 month mini labradoodle puppy, so I have plenty of experience with potty training. I currently work two overnights a week, so I am available during the week, and will always have availability for a short notice sit, as I know sometimes things come up. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have numerous runners and will always be outside to make sure your dog is safe and has water. I currently have a mini labradoodle that I adore. About: I have extensive experience with animals of all sorts. I grew up with English mastiff dogs, then became a husky lover later on in life. I've owned sheep, goats, cows, horses, chickens, dogs, cats and much more. I grew up on a mini farm and we always had different animals who were raised with lots of love and care. About: I have had a lot of experience with dogs and cats since I was a young child. I grew up on 5 acres and we bred collies and Persians. As an adult I have always had dogs and cats. I have 6 tiny chihuahuas and a beagle and a Great Pyrenees and a cat! They are all friendly, healthy and up to date on vaccines. I absolutely love my pets and have a lot of patience for working with them and love to give them. I am available to take care of your pets as needed for potty breaks on evenings and weekends - Boarding in my home and dog walking. I live in Neshannock on a little over a half an acre. I work Monday- Friday til 4:30 pm. I am available after 4:30 during the week and All weekends. I don’t have a fenced yard but I have a decent portion fenced in area off our back door and I live on a private dead end street with almost an acre of land. I use dog runs and leashes too if you prefer they be walked. I am very careful and protective of my dogs. They are very loved and well cared for and I will treat your dogs the same.

About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

About: For the past seven years, I had the privilege of sharing my life with my dog, Agatha, whom I adopted when she was around seven years old. She recently passed away at an estimated 14 years old after battling cancer. Caring for Agatha, especially during the last few months of her life, taught me patience, compassion, and how to meet a dog exactly where they are. As she got older, she needed more hands-on support. Whether it was helping her stand, carrying her when her body wouldn't cooperate (all 55 pounds of her!), or hand-feeding her because that's how she was most comfortable, I learned that every dog has unique needs and deserves care that respects their personality. Agatha was fiercely independent, so I always tried to give her as much dignity and choice as possible while making sure she felt safe and loved. While I'm not ready to adopt another dog just yet, I truly miss having one in my life. That's what brought me to Rover. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet, whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm companion nearby.
