About: Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away. With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.

“Dani was open to meeting prior to booking to make sure she and Lizzy got along. We got to see where Lizzy would be staying. During her stay, Dani asked for directions and followed them. She communicated just the right amount and sent some lovely pictures. She was accommodating when we needed to slightly modify drop off and pick up times. Lizzy clearly was well cared for and very affectionate toward Dani. We recommend her wholeheartedly and will definitely be using her next time we go away.”

About: I have had pets all my life! Cats and dogs! I currently have two labs. I am comfortable of taking care of dogs of any age or size. One of my dogs is currently on medication so I’m comfortable with giving dogs medication if needed! I work a full time job and have my two girls to take care of. I would be able to take care of your pets before and after work or on the weekends if I have availability! I will not be taking care of pets in my home at this time due to having two dogs of my own. She made sure their food and water was filled, scooped the litter boxes, swept up around the litter boxes, and stayed and played with the kitties for awhile. She took lots of pictures to send to me while I was away. My white cat, Tigger, hides whenever anyone comes over (he only stays out for me) and she had pictures of him laying on the couch!!! I take care of my family Shih Tzu daily and have cared for our late Domestic Longhair cat; as well as my sister’s Australian Labradoodle, her long-haired kitty, and my Aunt’s 3 Italian Greyhounds on occasion. About: I used to hate cats when I was a kid until I got my first cat, Sombra. She was found on the side of the road as a kitten by a friend and asked if my mother and I could take her in. I was hesitant at first, but decided to give her a chance. 9 years later, and I love her to death, despite her feisty attitude. Most recently,2 years ago, I found 2 more black kittens in an abandoned building, a brother and sister. We took them in with the intention of fostering them until they were old enough to adopt out, but unfortunately, since black cats aren't popular, no one wanted them. I decided to keep them for myself, and now Milan and Marcille are happily living together, with Sombra. (all of my cats are indoor cats)

I also have two dogs and a cat of my own, giving me hands-on experience with pets of different needs and personalities. About: I've taken care and rescued all sorts of animals from guinea pigs to giant pitties. I have been in rescue for about 9 years. It comes out of pocket, but if I don't save them or help who will? I am also good at medication injection and oral administration of medication as well. I can do walks, check in's, doggy day care, house sit, etc. I will accommodate your needs for your furbaby. I am not afraid of bigger dogs as most people might be. I think of them as giant teddy bears. I will send plenty of updates and pictures as I know leaving your furbaby with a stranger can be absolutely nerve wrecking. Whatever makes my customer happy I will be more than willing to meet their request. Just give me instruction, your furbabies name, any allergies, medications, walk/yard time and frequency, feeding schedule, and any other information you see fit and I guarantee your precious furbaby will find a new friend! I am currently employed part time and in school part time this semster over at Johnson College for Veterinary Nursing. My schedule is pretty packed, but I will make accommodations with you to accommodate the needs of your furbabies or ones with scales. I moved in March of last year so boarding at the new place might be a bit busy. I do have enough room to accommodate at least 3 dogs. I don't have a fenced in yard at my apartment however I love to take them on long walks. I have walked dogs of all sizes. Super tiny to 100+lbs. I also have my own pupper Krypto so if boarding at my home please make sure your dog is other dog friendly as well as cats. I have 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 rat and a goldfish. If you are looking to board in my home I suggest a meet & greet to make sure your furbabies and mine are safe for their stay. I care for my clients furbabies like they are my own. I make sure the furbabies are happy and healthy. I will make sure my clients needs and wants are met. If you need me to watch them at your house, your house will be treated like my home. I will make sure your home is like you left it. I love to send updates because I know leaving your furbabies is really nerve wrecking.

About: Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away. With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.
