“Anna gave a great deal of attention to my nearly 17yo cockapoo who was blind and in diapers 24/7 the last yr. He had gotten down to 7 lbs from 16 but still spent every waking moment on the prowl for food. When I found out I had colon cancer that required surgery ASAP i took a couple days reading boarders profiles and reviews before choosing Anna. We talked extensively about peanut 2x before boarding. She got back yo me fast when contacted and sent daily video updates. As Peanut has severe separation anxiety, I was concerned but had to board him and I choose well! I have a fur baby, a German Shepherd who’s the sweetest boy and would love to have some friends. I have a fenced backyard where your pup can run. I’m also comfortable with baths and distributing medications. I trained both of my dogs when they were puppies so if I’m watching a puppy and you need me to practice some simple tricks with him/her I’m able to do that for you. I work full time 9-5 so I am available for early morning walks and evening visits!! I am always available Saturdays and Sundays after church! I’m very vigilant when letting dogs outside even if a client has a fenced in yard. If there’s no fence I will take the dogs out on a leash. I have a good memory and I write important things down, especially special instructions you may have for me to take care of your furry friend. For boarding: I currently live in a small apartment in a city apartment building, but there are plenty of nearby outdoor options for dogs. There are sidewalks all around the building for regular walks, a grassy area directly across the street, and a small patch of grass behind the building for quick potty breaks. Kirby Park is also right across the street, which is perfect for longer walks, fresh air, and exercise in a safe, open space. There are no animals living with me currently and I will only board one dog at a time, unless they come from the same family!

About: I've taken care and rescued all sorts of animals from guinea pigs to giant pitties. I have been in rescue for about 9 years. It comes out of pocket, but if I don't save them or help who will? I am also good at medication injection and oral administration of medication as well. I can do walks, check in's, doggy day care, house sit, etc. I will accommodate your needs for your furbaby. I am not afraid of bigger dogs as most people might be. I think of them as giant teddy bears. I will send plenty of updates and pictures as I know leaving your furbaby with a stranger can be absolutely nerve wrecking. Just give me instruction, your furbabies name, any allergies, medications, walk/yard time and frequency, feeding schedule, and any other information you see fit and I guarantee your precious furbaby will find a new friend! My schedule is pretty packed, but I will make accommodations with you to accommodate the needs of your furbabies or ones with scales. If you work mid shift or over night and need somewhere for your four legged children to go while you work we have just the place for them. I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.

“Anna gave a great deal of attention to my nearly 17yo cockapoo who was blind and in diapers 24/7 the last yr. He had gotten down to 7 lbs from 16 but still spent every waking moment on the prowl for food. When I found out I had colon cancer that required surgery ASAP i took a couple days reading boarders profiles and reviews before choosing Anna. We talked extensively about peanut 2x before boarding. She got back yo me fast when contacted and sent daily video updates. As Peanut has severe separation anxiety, I was concerned but had to board him and I choose well!
