Highly-rated overnight sitters - Edmon

“Jordan did an excellent job caring for Blu at her home while I was away on an extended weekend. Her qualifications speaks for itself making her more than qualified for the job. She did an awesome job me providing me regular updates on how Blu was doing to include photos making me feel at ease for it being his first time away from me and his normal environment. Definitely recommend and would trust Jordan again for future needs.”

“This family is amazing with my 2 dogs! Absolutely above and beyond excellent care for 8 years. I never worry when I travel because I know my dogs are safe and well taken care of the entire time I am gone. I cannot recommend them more. If you want the most excellent care possible; this family is it!”

“Ashley was a fantastic sitter! Our dogs are 4 y/o and 6 mos. old and she handled them without issue. We feel lucky to have found her and we’re sure Ralphie and Seymour would love to see her again!”

“We had an emergency, our usual sitter wasn’t available… so we went looking for help. And help we received. So appreciative that Jessica could fit in a quick meet and greet with the family, kept us constantly in touch, our pup acted like she was at her home - a lot happy to see me a little sad to say bye (for now!) we whisked her up for another long drive and? She behaved like she’d spent the best two days at summer camp. Herself but like SUPER happy self. Thank you SO much Jessica and your family ❤️”

“Left our Cavapoo of 21 months old with Andrew & Karen for a first time away from home boarding for 7 days, 6 nights. They were wonderful with him showing care 'n cuddles immediately. Andrew provided updates & photos/videos daily which eased our concerns. Did everything they said they would following Quincey's routine. Slow socialization w/their dog Finn was nicely provided & slowly helped our dog get to know others. Walks together was great to see. Laid back and easy to work with as petsitters. Appreciated them both accepting our dog into their home as one of their own. Would definitely recommend them as petsitters & will be happy to book again in the future. Thanks again Andrew & Karen!”

“Augusta was great! My dog is always happy to see her. I even had a flight cancelation and was late picking my dog up and Augusta was completely understanding and flexible.”

“Melissa is an angel! She is incredible with all dogs and so accommodating and kind, even with some very short notice help we needed. Our senior dog loved her and her yard, I cannot recommend her enough, we are so happy we have found her for future sitting.”

“We are so grateful that Cali received such excellent care while we were away! It was my first time boarding a dog with someone other than family- Maria and Tony answered all my questions before Cali's stay and made me feel at ease while we traveled by sharing photos and updates.”

“Coralee and her family welcomed Baxter and he loved being there. I was concerned because Baxter has a health issue that he has to get pill 3 times a day and I was worried that he wouldn't take them but Coralee said he took them like a champ. I would highly recommend Coralee”

“Carol took great care of our puppy, Max, for about a week while we were on vacation. She was wonderful! Max seemed so happy in all the videos and pictures Carol shared. I think Max actually misses being there and having more friends to play with! Carol is easy to communicate with and was very flexible and accommodating.”

“Alex is a fantastic sitter. She sent me lots of photos of Hank during my trip, and when circumstances held me up for an extra day, she was willing to extend the booking. I can feel confident leaving Hank with her, knowing that he will be in good hands, and I highly recommend Alex to any pet parent.”

“Beatriz is the GOAT of dog sitters. She is fastidious in every area of pet care. Plus her house is immaculate and all the animals she cares for are happy campers. Pip and I are truly blessed and grateful to have found this amazing person. I just hope that he will want to come back home after being with Beatriz an original dog whisperer. Thank you for such loving care.”

“Nancy was absolutely amazing with my dog! She sent lots of pictures which I greatly appreciated. I could tell he was having a great time and was well loved and cared for. Nancy and Butch are lovely people and I highly recommend their services!!”

“Our schedule was erratic and included my mistake in scheduling. Sima and her family were gracious hosts and worked with our schedule. I received updates on how our doggo was doing everyday. It has been a pleasure working with them, I would definitely consider them next time we are in town.”

“Gary is super, he has watched our dogs a couple times for us and is always very reliable and accommodating and our dogs always enjoy going there and love his big fenced in backyard. We recommend Gary as a sitter.”

“Poppy was so well cared for during her stay with Natasha and her family. I felt very comfortable leaving her in their care and know she got lots of love and attention! I think her and Pluto were good buddies and I'm happy she had another pup to play with during her stay. Natasha also takes the cutest pup pictures and I loved getting updated while I was gone. I always felt Poppy was safe during her stay and am glad she was in such a nice, dog-loving, caring home. I would definitely recommend Natasha for boarding and would book with her again! Thank you Natasha & family for the excellent experience!”

“Both my pup and I were very happy with Kimberly! I felt good leaving my puppy with her! Glad to have found someone local with a background in caring for and training dogs!”

“Steve was amazing with our dog, Winnie. This was our first trip without her, and without Steve, I definitely would’ve been worrying about her and how she was doing. Instead, we got daily updates showing Winnie living her absolute best life and getting completely spoiled. Honestly, our only concern by the end was whether she’d want to come home. Steve is clearly an animal lover and just a cool person. If you want your dog to have an awesome vacation of their own, book with Steve.”

“Lindsay was so kind and caring - she went above and beyond to make our doggy Cricket feel safe and secure on the first night that she stayed with her. Lindsay kept us updated with texts, pictures, and a video. Cricket had so much fun at her house! And, Lindsay was able to accommodate our last minute boarding request. This was a wonderful experience for all of us!”

Cat caregivers near you - Edmon

About: I'm a cat lover at heart. I have had several cats over the years and currently am "catless". I am finicky about cat boxes and scoop daily. Also plenty of play time if that is what your cat requires. I have experience with giving oral meds.

“Ade was great with my multitude of animals - cats, bunny, and snake. She handled the specific care needs of every animal and was very communicative while I was on vacation. Recommended sitter!”

“Becky, fulfilled all the requests, took care of the cats statused us when we needed to be told something to and proactively communicated any delays. Definitely recommend.”

“Manda is great! She kept our dog in the past and just finished doing drop-in visits for our cats. She clearly loves animals and treats them as her own! She sent great photos and kept us well-informed. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have always lived with cats in the house. I work with cats at PetSmart cleaning the cages, giving food and water, and socializing the cats. I have a flexible schedule. I am on weekdays and weekends in the morning, afternoon, and night. I am happy to see your pet at anytime. I respect cats if they do not want to interact with me. I will back away from the cats if they seem angry or scared.
“Michaels the best! He’s helped us multiple times with overnight stays & quick drop ins. Our very selective dog & our shy cat both love him. He went above & beyond when we were away during a big snow storm & couldn’t get home to our pets. He cleared a pathway for our dog to go outside, cleared snow away from vents attached to our home & still managed to keep our pets active & exercised in the frigid temps. Everyone needs a Michael for their pets!”

“April checked in on my two cats while I was out of the country for a few weeks. She communicated promptly and clearly, kept me updated on how they were doing, and let me know about other potential issues in the home that she noticed while there.”

About: I have had cats and other pets since I was a child. Now as a grandmother, I still have my own cats. My cats are my babies and I take care of them as such. They both are cuddlers and I'd love to cuddle yours. I have administered medicine to my cats when it was needed.

About: Does your dog prefer to be in its own environment? Then allow me to spoil your pup while you're away! You might be thinking to yourself 'Well why should I pick this girl to watch my dog?' Let me tell you why! .... I bake homemade dog treats and love to run/walk with a loveable dog by my side! And snuggling up with a pup is probably one of the best feelings ever! I have an 8 year old cockapoo at home who is pretty awesome, if I do say so myself! I love to meet other dogs and spend time with them so I'm hoping I get to meet yours soon! I am a part time student (taking online classes) and I work part time as a florist so my schedule is pretty open to take care of your 'furry child' while you are away! For the last couple of years I have been watching my parents pets while they go on vacation along with friends animals. I am just looking to broaden my horizons by using Rover! I also feel as though having someone come to your house to care for your dog/cat is a lot less stressful for your pet and you have someone who is able to bring the mail in, water any plants, make sure the trash cans are taken to the curb, and just to make sure the house is still standing! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover my whole life. I grew up with at least one dog always in the house. When I moved out one of the first things I did was buy a puppy. He means the world to me and I would pretty much do anything for my cockapoo, Ramsay. And yes, he is named after Gordon Ramsay! My experience administering medication Yes, I am quite comfortable with administering medications. My pup takes allergy medicine and puts up quite a little fight so it does not scare me.

About: It’s no mystery, I love cats! I was born and raised with cats so I know them like the back of my hand. I take pride in being a perfectionist, empathetic, and patient. About: I am a veterinary technician with hands on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I have experience administering medications, monitoring post surgical patients, caring for our sweet senior pets, and working with anxious or reactive animals. Beyond my professional experience, I love all animals and treat them all as if they are my own! Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I strive to provide personalized care that keeps them happy, healthy, and stress free! I am currently working full time but my weekends are always open! My work schedule varies greatly each week but I am always available for overnights! I am able to schedule around your pet if needed! When caring for pets in a clients home, my priority is ensuring they are comfortable and maintain their normal routine! I follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, and household rules. I treat every clients home with respect and provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are receiving the absolute best care possible! My goal is to make your pets time away from you as stress free and enjoyable as possible :)
“Beatriz was attentive and caring when she did drop-in visits for my cat. She want at or beyond expectations, and was extremely responsive in communication, looking out for everything. She did a great job and I am happy to rebook her in the future.”

“David is the perfect sitter! You can tell he really knows and loves cats. I treat my cats like babies, and I felt totally safe having him look after them. He was so caring and made sure they were comfortable. I’m really grateful for the peace of mind he gave me!🐈🐈⬛”

About: What makes me different is that I truly enjoy being around Cat’s and creating a calm, safe environment for them. My experience caring for family pets has taught me how important consistency, affection, and attentive care are for every type of animal.

About: Both my grandmother and brother have cats, so I’ve grown up understanding and appreciating what it takes to care for them—ensuring their enrichment, exercise, proper nutrition, and happiness. I also had the amazing opportunity to attend zoo camp, where I learned valuable skills in animal care and behavior. This experience deepened my knowledge of how to create engaging environments for pets, tailored to their needs. I’m detail-oriented, reliable, and genuinely enjoy going the extra mile for animals, whether that means administering medications with care or making sure the litter box is spotless. I believe every pet deserves a happy and healthy experience, and I’m committed to providing just that!

About: Although this account is under my name, this is a team effort with my wife. We’re a young, energetic couple who have all the time and patience your pup deserves. A fully fenced yard out back provides a great place for playtime, and there’s always a spot on the couch to hang out with us. We have raised rates due to high demand going into the summer. If you’re a returning client, please reach out and if there are any issues with cost, we can work something out. I work a 9-to-5 schedule from home and I tend to spend a lot of my free time there as well. My wife is also home most of the day, so we have plenty of time throughout the week to give your dog the attention they need! My fully fenced yard, quiet house and neighborhood are perfect for dogs who are looking to relax on their vacation, but I have plenty of energy to walk and play with them too. Your dog will be hosted by our Bernedoodle, Finn, who loves making new friends.
“Beatriz was amazing!!! She was so willing to help us in a bind for a last minute booking and we are so glad we met her! We have 2 chihuahua mixes; one is very anxious and can be a handful sometimes. He is quite fearful of new people, animals, and places. Within minutes of us dropping the dogs off, Beatriz texted me photos of both dogs playing in a pack with others and even snuggling up with her soaking up the attention! It was amazing. She is so patient and kind. Truly someone we would certainly trust with our dogs again!”

“Jessica was amazing right from the start to the end. Very professional yet very friendly. She took very good care of our dog and was always kept us posted. Our dog enjoyed and will be going back soon. Thank you for taking care of our baby.”

“I brought my two fur babies to Pittsburgh, PA to be with me while I attended my class reunion. I found Ms. Carol on Rover. Immediately when I saw her face I knew she was the one I could trust my babies with. Ms. Carol, I’m so pleased to have met you. My babies were safe, looked after as if they were hers, attended to when needed, but most importantly, welcomed into her home by her fur babies.”

Beatriz & Hayden have graciously accommodated all of their needs with much love and kindness. Our boys love(d) going there and I always felt comfortable leaving them with these extremely capable sitters. They send great photos and updates during a visit and I was always able to get in touch with them in a very timely manner and always felt respected and acknowledged when communicating with them. About: I've had a dog every year of my life until last year. I've raised puppies and then watched them grow old and had to say goodbye. I loved every minute, but cant say goodbye again. I do take care of my kids dogs. We are blessed to have a little Frenchie and a Bernese to care for from time to time.I am retired since September, and cant think of a better way to spend my time than playing with and caring for Pups! I am recently retired and no longer have a dog of my own as she passed last Christmas. Finding myself with alot of extra time, I know that caring for Pups would be a happy solution. As we no longer have a dog of our own, we do keep our kids dogs alot. We have a huge yard and stay with the dogs when they are outside. One is a Frenchie and the other a Bernese.

“Had a last minute same day request for our 6 month old puppy Zari! Rebecca responded immediately and was able to accommodate the drop in/walk visit! Communication was excellent. We will be utilizing her again in the future.”

“Vivian and her family have been helping take care of our little pup, Ebby, for a little less than 3 months now and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is so reliable, loves Ebby like she’s her own, and updates us daily with pictures and videos during their walks. We could not work full time and give our energetic puppy the attention she needs without her help. Thank you for all that you do!”

About: Hello I have always had a dog within the household that I have lived. We were raised with little dogs (shih-tzu, mini schnauzers, cocker spaniels).and when I moved out of my parents house; I have 2 dogs, one is an English bulldogge that I swear, she is a sassy toddler (she is 5). She is spoiled. She has been through several training courses. The other one is a rescue mixed blue heeler who is so affectionate. Both of them have individual traits that are cute in their own way. They have their own area called "The Woof Nook." The thing that sets me apart from other people is that I will love your dog as if it were my own. The dog will get whatever you want and I will go the extra mile for your dog. I am an energetic person who values kindness above all else. I have experience with training dogs as I had to train my dogs to do tricks together and seperately. I work 4 days per week full time as a mental health therapist/addictions counselor. I have 3 days off and feel that I could be utilizing my time more effectively. What better way to do that then to spend time with dogs and getting exercise! My dogs go for daily walks and sometimes I take them on hikes (if the weather permits). They also receive baths after a hike. My pups get treats if they listen and are well behaved. Sometimes just because they are cute. I will walk your pup on a short or long walk, depending on your preference. I will also talk to your pup and give praise.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was 7 and I have taken increased responsibility over those years: feeding them, walking them, and watching them while my parents are out of town. I’ve dealt with training puppies: like walking on the leash, teaching simple tricks, and house training them. I’ve taken care of one dog through her end-of-life: including giving medicine, and dealing with bleeding and bladder control issues. I’m open seven days a week during normal day time hours. I’m willing to walk dogs or visit them in home. I have my own transportation if needed. I would walk the dogs in their neighbourhood or a local park. I’m willing to visit the home to play or help train the dog.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a youngster. They have always made my heart happy! Family and friends have trusted me to care for their pets whether it was dog sitting, walking, or just dropping by they have always known their fur babies were in good hands with me! I currently work part time as a Medical Assistant which leaves lots of room for me to do what I love- spend time with dogs. If your dog prefers a furry companion- I have a very well socialized pup of my own who loves to play and go for walks. I am a lover of the outdoors myself so long walks are just as much as a bonus for me as they are for your pup. If your dog prefers to lounge around I can handle that as well!
About: I have extensive pet experience, having owned both cats and dogs throughout my life. Currently, I'm raising two shepherds and three cats. I've trained my own pets and have also helped family members with training. Additionally, I've provided care for pets while their owners are on vacation, ensuring they receive the love and attention they need. My hands-on experience with various breeds makes me well-equipped to care for your furry friends! I work as a family-based therapist, which gives me a flexible schedule. This allows me to spend more time with animals, whether it’s walking, caring for, playing with, or training them. My job provides me the opportunity to balance my professional responsibilities with my passion for animals, ensuring that I can give your pets the attention and care they deserve. In terms of safety, trust, and environment, I prioritize creating a secure and comfortable space for pets in my home or my clients' homes. For in-home care, I have a fenced yard that provides a safe area for pets to play and explore. I also use room separators to ensure that pets remain in designated areas, and I have kennels available if needed for their comfort and security. I come prepared with my own leashes and have prior experience handling various situations to ensure the pets' safety. This allows me to guide pets effectively and manage any potential challenges that may arise. My focus is always on creating a trustworthy environment where pets feel at ease while receiving the care they need.
About: Having grown up with several dogs, I've developed a lifelong love for animals and an understanding of their needs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have experience looking after and walking other people's dogs and pets, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I've always had a love for animals and enjoy spending time outdoors, making dog walking the perfect way for me to combine both passions. I am dependable, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring every dog receives the exercise, care, and affection they deserve. As a recent college graduate, I have full availability this summer before starting my first teaching position in the fall, making me a reliable and flexible option for your pet care needs. I always prioritize a pet's safety, comfort, and routine when caring for them in and out of a client's home. I follow all instructions provided by the owner, and any specific preferences or restrictions. I understand that consistency is important for animals, so I strive to keep their daily routine as normal and stress-free as possible while their owners are away. During walks, I ensure dogs are safely leashed, hydrated when needed, and given appropriate exercise based on their age, energy level, and individual needs.

Been doing it for so long and it's the best job ever! I have a fenced yard with lots of space, i live in a home in a mixed suburban neighborhood and there's lots of walking space around the block, dog park 5 min away and great space at home (no kids, just my wife)
About: I've been been a kennel attendant for 6 months where I took care of dogs of all breeds. I've also learned how to administer medication to pets for different diseases I am currently unemployed so I will have plenty of time to make sure your pets are loved and cared for! I have 3 pets myself so I have plenty of experience! I've been working in the animal field for a little over a year, but have had my own pets since I was little. You can trust me with your animals because I love them as much as you do and don't want to see anything bad happen to them.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and have been caring for them my entire life. I have experience with both large and small dogs as well as cats. I’m currently home from college for the summer and working part time so I have a good amount of time on my hands, especially on Sundays and Mondays. I experience with almost every type of pet care you can think of including things like bathing, crating, playing, walking, feeding, and even giving medication.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10. I grew up with cats and because we were never allowed to have a dog, I would take care of dogs in the neighborhood. I would dog sit, walk them constantly, and would even bathe them. When I was little, I wanted to be a veterinarian. However the thought of having to put an animal to sleep, kept me from fulfilling that lifelong dream. With two Golden Retrievers of my own Duke 7 years old and Enzo 7 months old who I adore more than life itself, and a cat my life is full. Looking forward to adding more fluffy friends to my life, and maybe even adding some excitement to my dogs life by adding new friends. I currently work full-time, but the majority of my days at work are spent working from home, so my schedule is flexible. The more dogs the merrier ! I will do whatever is necessary to provide the best care when someone else’s baby is in my care. I know what I would want for my dog, so I would treat each animal that is in my care the same way I would treat my own dog with lots of love, treats, walks and playtime!
About: I have 6 years of experience with dogs. From doggy daycare, Kennels, and veterinary clinics I have all the experience your furry friend would need! I have experience with walking, bathing, feeding, medications and so much more! I will care for your dogs like my own. I currently work part time at a kennel I've been at for 3 years now. I can do Monday-Friday evening as of right now. I do Walks mainly but also drop ins and daycares. I do not do overnight stays or in home stays. I do not care for pets in my home but I would be happy to do whatever needs done with your furry friend. A walk? Ball time? You name it and I'll be happy to do it!

About: I believe our pets deserve the best care especially in times where pet moms/dads have to provide and take care of themselves, that’s where I come in to help focus on your pet and give them the same energy you would, so you can think about you! Patience, perfectionism, calmness, consideration, these are all things I take pride in. I am a very loving, gentle care taker (who loves to burn some energy off too through play!) I will focus on making sure your pets every need is met while going above and beyond to ensure they feel emotionally happy, safe, and respected by me. I have a very flexible schedule and am available any day, any time! I have reliable transportation and am available last minute if you need me I always start with a clean & sanitary space by ensuring food bowls, water bowls, beds blankets etc are all sanitary. Enrichment activities, brain stimulation, exercise, massages, cooking homemade dog/cat food, outfits/shoes for heat/cold protection, etc.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every dog. I’ve grown up around family pets and understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m available 24/7. I have 4 dogs at home and am willing to pet sit at any point of any day! I’m just getting started on rover and would love to get my name out there! I have hands-on experience caring for dogs through both personal and professional settings. I previously worked for a local groomer as a dog bather, where I became comfortable handling dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. In addition, I regularly care for my family’s dogs by feeding them, taking them on walks, spending time with them, and pet sitting when family members are away. I also help care for pets for extended family members, including my aunts and uncles, who trust me with their dogs while they travel or need extra help. I truly enjoy being around animals and am looking forward to expanding my services to help more pet owners feel confident their dogs are safe, cared for, and treated like family.
About: Greetings. I've had pets most of my life and recently have taken care of many dogs during COVID on a long and short term basis. The longest stay I had was 2 months while the owner went to India. I recently moved to Pittsburgh (Mt Washington) from the Netherlands so I'm happy to have a pet to 🐶 hang out with while I'm learning the area. I work full time, however it's remote from home and I set my own break schedule. So I'll have plenty of spare time to walk, groom and play with the 🐕 I'm in a condo that allows pets and am on the ground floor so it's easy to take multiple breaks for a walk or run. Medicine wise, I have given pills and insulin injections to animals I have watched and not got scratched.

“Ashley was a fantastic sitter! Our dogs are 4 y/o and 6 mos. old and she handled them without issue. We feel lucky to have found her and we’re sure Ralphie and Seymour would love to see her again!”

“Coralee and her family welcomed Baxter and he loved being there. I was concerned because Baxter has a health issue that he has to get pill 3 times a day and I was worried that he wouldn't take them but Coralee said he took them like a champ. I would highly recommend Coralee”

“Lindsay and her family were wonderful and accommodating. They were also very flexible with my pickup time. They and their dog Murphy took great care of Sadie. I will certainly use Lindsay again to take care of Sadie next time I’m in the area. I highly recommend.”

“Laura and her husband's love for dogs shines through in everything they do. They truly treated my dog as if it was their own. My pup had a minor medical issue (nothing to do with their care) and they made sure he got prompt care and expertly administered his medication. I loved the frequent photo and video updates. They rival some of the professional photos I've had taken! Will use again!”

“Becca was a joy to work with, and took excellent care of my sweet boy Gunner. He had an awesome time with her pets and kids. I think he barely realized we were gone for a week! Thanks Becca ?”

“Jennifer was great with Bobo my 8 year old Australian Shepherd. Her huge backyard was completely fenced so I had the great sense of safety that Bobo would not escape & get hit by a car. Jennifer sent me pictures & updates every day & I could tell he was comfortable & happy. I will certainly use Jennifer any time I need to leave town. I highly recommend her…”

“Dodger came back happy! Michelle sent photos and updates everyday and was very mindful of our requests. I'm insuring his behavior. We recommend Michelle and will be using her again in a few weeks!”
“I feel so fortunate to have found Tyler to care for my very active and rambunctious 9- month old golden retriever. Tyler is very dog savvy and understood the challenges he had. He walked my dog several times a day meeting new people and dogs. Just the kind of socialization a young dog needs. I loved the daily updates and pictures Tyler sent. My dog seemed to be having such a good time, I doubt he missed me at all.”

“Annette was lovely and caring to both Gustavo and me. Delays in flights meant I was 7 hours late in getting to Gus. Annette graciously dealt with this inconvenience. She was always quick to respond to communications. Most importantly, Gus clearly felt at home and welcomed from the minute she greeted him. When I picked him up, he was clearly comfortable with Annette. Thank you.”
