About: I have had pets my whole life. I have had cats most of my life, I love them. I have walked and pet sat for many dogs before. I helped out neighbors and family friends. I am free most days of the week. If I am busy during the day I have an appointment, but I’m usually not doing anything. I cannot work weekends as I am usually busy. I live in a small studio apartment in Doylestown, with my girlfriend and two cats. It is a tight space, but we are comfortable and definitely happy.

About: I’ve never not had a dog to care for. I love them deeply and enjoy providing them attention while their owners are away. I know that’s a stressful time for them and I want to help make it less stressful for all parties. I am a teacher and home all summer so there will rarely be a time when your pet is alone. My schedule is pretty flexible but when I’m caring for a dog I ensure that is my number one priority. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space for the dogs. About: I have been volunteering in a local animal shelter for about 6 months and after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh I am looking to commit more time to helping out the people and pets in my community! In the shelter I helped admitted lost animals and I have experience walking and taking dogs out for field trips. About: I am a teacher, so I have lots of availability in the summer for dog sitting and walking. I also have unlimited patience and lots of energy for pets. I am the proud fur-baby mother of a rescue dog! He is about 70 pounds and tricky to walk, which has given me great experience. I know how to handle anxious pets. I am an active person who enjoys spending time outdoors, especially with my dog. In the summer, we spend most of or time in the backyard playing and spending time together: When my dog gets hot he relaxes on his outdoor cooling bed next to cold bowl of water or takes a dip in his doggie pool. The only thing that keeps us inside is thunder or lightning. Overall, I am a very devoted dog owner and animal lover and looking forward to meeting many new dogs!
“Theresa took such good care of our two senior weimaraners---it was a short stay (this time), but they came home happy and well cared for. Theresa was very careful to completely understand the dogs' needs (diets, outdoor breaks, exercise, etc.) and was very accommodating for their 2 large beds. (She even slept with them downstairs that night rather than wake them to head upstairs!) We will not hesitate to arrange for her to care for them again; I think they miss Louie!”
