About: I’ve been an animal rescuer since childhood, and have raised my children (12-20) to do the same. My most recent official role in animal care and rescue has been via fostering dogs and cats through the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. Unofficially, I have been a proud dog mama for 11 years, and cat mama off and on since childhood. My resident doggo Patches is a proud foster father, and is comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages. If you have a pup or cat that could use a cuddle buddy while you are away, Patches is your guy. I do have a particular aversion to cricket feeding, but we can make it work with super worms lol I do not know much about fish or amphibian care, but I am open to learning. I am a human nurse and can administer medications. I know how much we love our pets, so your pet will be MY pet while in my care! Clients go to work with me if appropriate or are checked on many times throughout the day. My office is walking distance from my house. Flexible working schedule. Very active household with access to fenced in areas as well as fields, woods trails and walking paths all at our residence. We have one senior dog, one 2 year old and one puppy who love dog sitting clients! Our young dogs love to play if yours enjoys that too!

“Theresa took such good care of our two senior weimaraners---it was a short stay (this time), but they came home happy and well cared for. Theresa was very careful to completely understand the dogs' needs (diets, outdoor breaks, exercise, etc.) and was very accommodating for their 2 large beds. (She even slept with them downstairs that night rather than wake them to head upstairs!) We will not hesitate to arrange for her to care for them again; I think they miss Louie!”
