About: I grew up in a household I'm the oldest of seven children so we had we all had a cat or a dog or a both and I've been taking care of them for many years. I have taken care of cats that were were diabetic, blind, hearing impaired. Cats can be temperamental so you need to be patient. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and been around them my whole life. Growing up we had five dogs of different breeds and sizes and that is what cemented my passion for animals. I work from home so I have ample time to do whatever is needed for our furry friends. The yard is big enough for everyone to run around and play. I also have a park not too far a walk from my house. I work from home and am able to care for your buddy around the clock. There are no children in my home but always a buddy or two. I love dogs and make sure they each feel welcomed loved and cared for. My fenced yard lets us play and run with no worries of escaping or getting lost. Outdoor time is always supervised or accompanied! There are a lot of soft cozy spots to hang out. My couch is protected by one of many covers that is rotated through the days so dirty paws or accidents aren’t that big a deal. I have worked at animal shelters and now currently work at an emergency veterinary hospital, so I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds and cats. About: I don't know that anything sets me apart, if you love a animal you love them, you do whatever needs to be done without question and with love. I'm retired at this point but I enjoy animals of all kinds, I take care of many friends and families animals when they go away vacation, work, or in the case of any kind of emergency. About: Hi, Everyone! My name is Cara. Thank you for visiting my page. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm and summer months off. I am currently a part time Binghamton University graduate student studying for a masters degree in early childhood special education. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away to ease your anxiety. Experience - administering medicine/injections - cats, big dogs, small dogs, senior animals, special needs pets, pigs, cows, chickens. -exercise/run with your pet -hospice/end of life care (Repositioning every hour, hand feeding, massages, cooking packs, frozen bone broth snacks on warmer days, the list goes on) Pets and animals deserve to be spoiled but most importantly, they deserve to be loved. I have a white pitbull fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness. She stays at home with her other best friend, my significant other while I’m away. About: I connect with dogs just like people. I'm loving and caring. I grew up caring for my pets and family friends pets. So I know how to walk, feed and clean after pets. I work full time but get off early so I am available after 130pm. Weekends I will determine at the time of booking. I normally rest on weekends but would consider work if I am free. About: Hello all, I've owned cats, dogs, and horses for over 20 years now and was their main caregiver starting at 8 y.o. I've worked at many horse barns and pet sitter for many many friends over the years. I have skills in pet healthcare (administering medication, baths, cutting nails, etc), young animals, dog & horse training, rescue animals, and elderly animals. I do my best to provide stress free care for your pets. I currently work from home! This means I am available at any time throughout the day. We can absolutely devise a schedule get your pet the best care. When pets are in my home or I visit a client's home, I always take note of the animal's state looking for stress or anything out of the ordinary. I also will inspect the space the pet is in and make sure dangerous items (small items/chocolate/other) is out of reach of the pet. I make sure everyone has access to water at all times.
