Mary exceeded every expectation I had and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. This was Dexter’s first extended stay away from me, and within the first few days he developed some stress-related GI issues from the transition. Mary handled everything with incredible patience, compassion, and attentiveness. She prepared special food, administered medication once it was dropped off, and treated him with such genuine tenderness and understanding. I could tell she truly cared about his emotional well-being. What stood out immediately was how quickly she understood both dogs’ completely different personalities. Frances is fearless, social, and playful, while Dexter is much more sensitive and cautious — and Mary connected with both of them so naturally. It was obvious they genuinely enjoyed their time with her and the other dogs. Her communication throughout the stay was exceptional. She sent frequent updates, photos, and videos every day, and seeing Frances and Dexter relaxed, playing, cuddling, and becoming more confident gave me so much reassurance while I was overseas. Most importantly, Mary helped build Dexter’s confidence during a stressful transition. Anyone who has experience with rescue dogs understands how important patience, calm energy, and emotional sensitivity are, and Mary absolutely has that gift. When I picked them up, they were excited to see me — but it was also obvious they had formed a real bond with Mary and their new friends. Honestly, that told me everything I needed to know. About: Do you ever look at your dog and think how did I get so lucky...Pups to many our like children they get all the love you have to give...Like you the time I am with them I will love and adore them...I've almost always had a dog...My beagle Shelby 15 1/2 passed away on December 20, 2022 and Dante passed away July 4th 2020, I don't have the heart to delete them he was 11 and had been with me the past 4 years since I saved him from the NYC kill shelter on his last day...I trap cats have them fixed and find them homes, some stay (10)....I am active on house sitting sites and travel for sits whenever I have free time from work (photographer)...For years I have taken care of friends cats, dogs, horses, cows, goats and Rizzo the rat... I work a lot from home only gone a few hours at a time if I do need to go out for any jobs or errands... I do have an indoor/outdoor kennel in my barn in the house I have a spare bedroom a pet can have if they need their own space also a mud room which I mostly use for kittens/cats I have trapped...

In the past I even adopted reptiles and other animals to heal/care for until someone wanted to take them to their forever home. I have like animals since I could remember, and I would absolutely care, and love the pets I sit. Past I have also volunteered for animal shelters and even started a fundraiser for a specific shelter. I just graduated from nursing school. I will be starting my job soon, but even while working for my job, I would love to take on an extra role in pet caregiving as of right now I am available at any time that you may need me. Once I start work, I will be available as much as I can for the pets that I will care for. I live in the countryside with a giant 10 acre piece of land. My two dogs and my cats are both indoor outdoor and they love going in and out. My dogs especially have an amazing time there. I go take them on walks almost every day I even go to a dog park as far as taking care of animals in someone else’s home, I would care for them, take them on walks, and if willing, I could even take them to dog parks and make their day just as happy as mine.

About: I've taken care and rescued all sorts of animals from guinea pigs to giant pitties. I have been in rescue for about 9 years. It comes out of pocket, but if I don't save them or help who will? I am also good at medication injection and oral administration of medication as well. I can do walks, check in's, doggy day care, house sit, etc. I will accommodate your needs for your furbaby. I am not afraid of bigger dogs as most people might be. I think of them as giant teddy bears. I don't have a fenced in yard at my apartment however I love to take them on long walks. I have walked dogs of all sizes. Super tiny to 100+lbs. I also have my own pupper Krypto so if boarding at my home please make sure your dog is other dog friendly as well as cats. I have 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 rat and a goldfish. If you are looking to board in my home I suggest a meet & greet to make sure your furbabies and mine are safe for their stay. I care for my clients furbabies like they are my own. I make sure the furbabies are happy and healthy. I will make sure my clients needs and wants are met. If you need me to watch them at your house, your house will be treated like my home. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight.
