“We felt completely at ease leaving our Frenchie in her care. Her family was welcoming and caring, and extremely communicative with updates on how our Midge was adapting to her stay with them. We give her our highest recommendation and would suggest Vivian for your precious pets.”

“We left our mini schnauzer in the BEST care for our 2 week trip away. Andrew, Karen, and Finn were the best hosts to our boy. We received many daily updates of photos/videos of Moose having the best time playing with Finn. They were always so quick to respond to any messages we sent. When we picked up Moose, he was clean and brushed. I’m one of those crazy dog moms and am 10000% happy with how Moose was taken care of! Thank you so much Andrew and Karen!”

“Jordan provided a safe, calm, and secure place for our pup. She kept us informed with text and pictures and it was great seeing our pup so relaxed and happy while we were away. 💙”

“Loved that Melissa sent updates and pics everyday. Helped me to feel confident that he was receiving excellent care. He seemed like he enjoyed his "vacation" with his pals. Will definitely use her again.”

“Another wonderful experience with Lindsay. I love how she treats my pup like her own and he seems to fit right in with her and her family. She is such a lovely person; I can't say enough good things and would recommend Lindsay to anyone.”

“I was so pleased with Carol's care of my Yorkie. She did an excellent job and he was so very well taken care of. I could not be happier. I was also very reassured he was in good hands as she is a regular foster parent for dogs and has lots of experience. Thank you Carol!”

“Patrick is wonderful. He has watched my puppy and now my senior boy. My senior boy had a little trouble adjusting and Patrick was so kind and easy to communicate with. He provided much appreciated photos and updates and I never once had to worry about my buddy.”

“Steve was amazing with our dog, Winnie. This was our first trip without her, and without Steve, I definitely would’ve been worrying about her and how she was doing. Instead, we got daily updates showing Winnie living her absolute best life and getting completely spoiled. Honestly, our only concern by the end was whether she’d want to come home. Steve is clearly an animal lover and just a cool person. If you want your dog to have an awesome vacation of their own, book with Steve.”

“Johanna was absolutely excellent with my pup Mia. She kept me updated everyday by sending pictures and videos. Her dog Stella is very sweet and playful. She became to be a friend with my dog instantly. I enjoyed watching their play videos thanks to Johanne. We’ll definitely see Johanne again very soon.”

“For my first time using Rover, I was very pleased with Augusta. She is very nice, calm and patient. I appreciated her good communication which gave me peace knowing my fur baby was in good hands.”

“Carol was the absolute best sitter we have known and used. Our dog was certainly a challenge at 17+ years old but she handled him with love and care throughout his stay. His poor eyesight and hearing, weak legs, anxiety, and the medications required for them were handled professionally.”

“I loved Gary and his wife they were soooo good to Teddy I didn’t even have to worry about my dog for the first time ever . Teddy can’t wait to come back !!! Thanks guys see you again soon”

“We had to unexpectedly go out of town and booked our dog’s stay through Rover after many years. It was very assuring that brie seemed to have a good time with Michelle and Tom. They were very understanding to Brie’s anxiety issues and very accommodating to Her dietary needs. Thank you Michelle, we will Surely keep brie with you when we go out.”

“Emily and her family were wonderful caring for my dog Sunny! Emily treated Sunny as part of her family and was in constant communication with me to send pictures and updates. I had absolutely no concerns about Sunny while we were on vacation because I knew that Emily was giving Sunny so much love. I highly recommend her and will definitely have her care for Sunny in the future!!”

“We couldn’t ask for a better cat sitter! Amanda goes above and beyond every single visit. She takes such thoughtful care of our kitty Bert with lots of playtime, cuddles, and updates that truly give us peace of mind while we’re away. The daily photos and detailed messages show just how attentive Amanda is. Our cat absolutely adores her and looks forward to her visits when we are away. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and genuinely passionate about animals, Amanda is the perfect choice. We’re so grateful to have found her!”

“Kaleigh really stepped up when the previous sitter canceled without even so much as a message. She obviously has a history of working with dogs. She was informative and easy to contact. I would definitely recommend and will keep her at the top of my list next time I need a sitter.”

“Abby Jo was available and willing to help on a short notice and my cat Mario loved her! She was very communicative during her drop in with pictures, updates, and concerns. I look forward to her help in the future!!”

“Claire was fantastic! She communicated thoroughly, she was prompt with her drop in visits. She understood the special care needed for our cats and she asked questions to ensure she was going to give the proper care.”

“Mallory went above and beyond for my two cats. She catered to their every need (and they have a long list of needs)! They could not have been better taken care of. She sent lots of pictures and kept in constant contact. Even letting us know our power went out and checking to see if our pool pump needed turned back on. HIGHLY recommend!”

About: I've had a strong passion for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family relied on me to care for our dogs, cats, and hamsters. I now live in my own home with 4 cat children. I have dog-sat and cat-sat for several neighbors. I am very experienced at dog and cat walking, bathing, feeding, and medicine-giving. During the week I work as a full time engineer and cat mom. On the weekends, I have plenty of free time to hang out, play in the yard, or go for walks with your pet. In my home, I have 4 cats of varying ages (1 yr, 3 yrs, 4 yrs, 6yrs). They are friendly and well-adapted to other dogs and cats. They often have playdates with my parent's 16 year old cat and 7 month old kitten. Each of my cats are vaccinated, neutered, and love making new friends! In your home, I will accommodate any requests you may have. I will ensure the safety and happiness of your pet above all else.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was born and have cared for them myself since I was 10 years old. My dog of 14 years recently passed away and I've decided to sign up for Rover to get my puppy fix keeping other dogs company while their owners are at work, traveling etc. I work from home full time, have a large fenced in yard and can give your dog(s) the love and attention they deserve! I currently work from home full time so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am available from any time in the morning until whenever needed in the evening. I can take breaks as needed to walk your pups in addition to letting them run around in our fenced-in yard as much as they please! I have a large fenced-in yard where I can play with them and be fully-attentive or let them relax on their own outside if preferred and acceptable to you. Our home is air conditioned/heated and comfortable to your pets while you are working/away.
About: Although this account is under my name, this is a team effort with my wife. We’re a young, energetic couple who have all the time and patience your pup deserves. A fully fenced yard out back provides a great place for playtime, and there’s always a spot on the couch to hang out with us. We have raised rates due to high demand going into the summer. If you’re a returning client, please reach out and if there are any issues with cost, we can work something out. I work a 9-to-5 schedule from home and I tend to spend a lot of my free time there as well. My wife is also home most of the day, so we have plenty of time throughout the week to give your dog the attention they need! My fully fenced yard, quiet house and neighborhood are perfect for dogs who are looking to relax on their vacation, but I have plenty of energy to walk and play with them too. Your dog will be hosted by our Bernedoodle, Finn, who loves making new friends.
“Beatriz was amazing!!! She was so willing to help us in a bind for a last minute booking and we are so glad we met her! We have 2 chihuahua mixes; one is very anxious and can be a handful sometimes. He is quite fearful of new people, animals, and places. Within minutes of us dropping the dogs off, Beatriz texted me photos of both dogs playing in a pack with others and even snuggling up with her soaking up the attention! It was amazing. She is so patient and kind. Truly someone we would certainly trust with our dogs again!”

“I brought my two fur babies to Pittsburgh, PA to be with me while I attended my class reunion. I found Ms. Carol on Rover. Immediately when I saw her face I knew she was the one I could trust my babies with. Ms. Carol, I’m so pleased to have met you. My babies were safe, looked after as if they were hers, attended to when needed, but most importantly, welcomed into her home by her fur babies.”

“I was definitely a nervous new mom dropping Rosie off with someone I just met but Jordan was kind, patient, and thorough. She is also extremely knowledgeable and supportive. Rosie had the best day on her farm!”

“Jessica was amazing right from the start to the end. Very professional yet very friendly. She took very good care of our dog and was always kept us posted. Our dog enjoyed and will be going back soon. Thank you for taking care of our baby.”

About: I’m a full-time professional with three years of experience teaching manners at Humane Animal Rescue, and I’m excited to welcome friendly, well-socialized dogs into my home for boarding. My approach combines safety, structure, and enrichment so your dog feels secure, happy, and fulfilled during their stay. My home is set up with safety in mind—hazards are kept out of reach, and visiting pets are supervised closely every day. I have a securely fenced backyard for safe outdoor play, and while there are a few steps, I make sure each dog’s needs are accommodated. We have a securely gated setup in our dining room where dogs can be separated for rest time throughout the day as needed, or simply to decompress if they want their own space! Rotating between my own dog and yours in this accommodated space will be a part of our routine if your dog needs more personalized attention, but only if needed. Before any stay, I require a meet-and-greet with my own well-socialized pit bull mix and cat. This ensures everyone feels comfortable and sets the tone for a stress-free visit. “Vivian and her family have been helping take care of our little pup, Ebby, for a little less than 3 months now and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is so reliable, loves Ebby like she’s her own, and updates us daily with pictures and videos during their walks. We could not work full time and give our energetic puppy the attention she needs without her help. Thank you for all that you do!”

“Mallory was a fantastic support as we were training our new puppy during her first week home. We were able to go to work with peace of mind knowing that Mallory would be there to take care of her while we were gone! Her knowledge, flexibility, creativity with games and training are so wonderful and Mallory has quickly become a very important part of our lives! Thank you Mallory!! You are truly a very caring and gifted person! We really appreciate everything you have done for us!!”

“Had a last minute same day request for our 6 month old puppy Zari! Rebecca responded immediately and was able to accommodate the drop in/walk visit! Communication was excellent. We will be utilizing her again in the future.”

About: I’m Emily! A little about me: I love to run, lift, paint, and read. I am currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh studying Speech Pathology and Audiology who’s home for the summer! I've been a pet owner myself for about 5 years now. My family currently has three cats and has had a dog and another cat in the past. Within the last seven years I have dog and cat sat for a lot of my extended family and friends. I'm currently on the hunt for a part-time job for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands to look after and care for pets. I also have my own car and am hanging out with friends a lot, so I am always around. I am very diligent with making sure doors and windows are shut and locked to ensure that your pets do not go in or out (if they're indoor pets/ not on a leash) as I have to do that with my own pets! I also realize as it grows hotter, animals become dehydrated and hot as well, and I am careful to make sure water bowls are filled, and there is water during walks as well.
About: I have over ten years of animal care experience. From senior dogs and cats to puppies and kittens, I am patient, responsible, and fun. I would love to give your fur baby some love and appreciate your trust in me. I am free on all weekends and holidays. I do work an 8 hour shift monday through friday, 6:45am to 3:15pm. I walk daily so having a companion with me fits in perfectly. I have a fenced in backyard and a very friendly cat. I go on daily walks myself so having a fur companion with me would be something I would love!
About: I’ve only seriously taken care of dogs on my own for the past 6 years. I’ve taken care of 2 dogs at once and have given oral meds to dogs before. I work part time, but i have plenty of time to take care of your pets! Saturday’s are my only unavailable day since I work all day. I can do just about anything you need for either dogs or cats! Once you show me what i to do for your pet, I’ll be able to help them be as comfortable and happy as possible!

About: I spent my life growing up in a household full of animals. From large dogs to small dogs, to kittens & cats, I will love & care for your furry family member as if they were my own. I also have experience in walking small & large dogs, as well as our fur-legged friends who may not have much experience on a leash! I currently work remotely from my home full-time. I am available to step away during the day and take your animal for potty breaks. If there were to be an emergency, I can do my best to show up for that as well! I currently do not offer the service of house-sitting in my own home… for your pets comfort and my own pets! If an emergency were to pop-up, or we establish a relation as pet-owner/pet, I would be happy to reconsider this on a case-to-case basis.
About: I have been surrounded by all kinds of animals growing up: dogs, cats, bunnies, even reptiles so I absolutely love animals! I have experience with all kinds of dog breeds like pitbulls, english mastiffs, german shepards, and of course the smaller guys! I’ve always trained my own dogs. I have taken care of friends’ and family’s dogs since I was 14, but I have never been without a dog my whole life! Other than that I’m pretty available throughout the week and flexible on weekends, so I have plenty of time to care for your dogs! I currently live in dorms so I don’t offer boarding. But I would love to play with your dog inside/outside of your house for drop-in’s and walks!
“Thank you Mariah for caring for my two pups! I have a senior and a reactive dog that both require great patience and care. I am also fairly particular with who I trust caring for my dogs; however, Mariah was wonderful and made the pups comfortable. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and have taken great care to ensure they are as happy as can be! I also occasionally dog sit for some senior dogs in my area! I am currently available every day of the week! I am more than happy to take your babies on walks, drop in, or dog sit any day including weekends! At this time I do not have any other pets in my home, I have a huge yard in a quiet neighborhood, if your fur baby needs extra care or attention I am more than happy to provide it!

About: What sets me apart is my attention to detail and my ability to adapt to each pet’s unique personality. I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach—whether your cat is shy, energetic, or senior, I adjust my care to make them feel safe and comfortable. I’m also patient and attentive, which helps when caring for nervous cats or those who need extra time to warm up. I have experience with administering basic medications, maintaining strict routines, and recognizing changes in behavior or health early on. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a SAHW—I prioritize it just like any other responsibility. I plan my schedule to ensure I’m available for consistent visits, whether that’s morning, afternoon, or evening. I’m very mindful of keeping pets on their normal routine, so I build my day around their feeding, playtime, and care needs. I care for pets by keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible, whether in my home or my client’s home. In a client’s home, I follow all provided instructions closely—feeding schedules, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any medications if needed. I also make sure the space stays clean and your cat feels comfortable in their familiar environment. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, safe space with plenty of attention, enrichment, and a clean setup. I always prioritize safety, hygiene, and clear communication, and I send regular updates with photos.
About: Dogs have always been a part of my life; I’ve been around dogs since the age of 5. Growing up with dogs has helped me develop skills in order to take care of them. When my family and I adopted my Shi Zhu, he had numerous of kidney issues which meant I was responsible for providing him with his medication. We’ve adopted another dog named Lady and she enjoys going on hikes (especially if there’s a nearby creek for her to swim in). Not only do I care for my dogs at home, I’ve dog-sat for my neighbors, friends and family’s dogs; whenever i’m need, I’m always happy to take care of their dogs and go for walks. Of course I’m a dog lover but I cannot forget to mention my smaller pets; I had two parakeets growing up and currently have a fish and hamster which also receive my love and care for. I am a college student so my schedule varies often. When I am back on break, I have plenty of time to look after and provide walks with your fur pup. I will follow whatever safety instructions you give me for your dog or animals and can walk/feed/crate your dog per your instructions if needed. Trust and safety are very important to me. To ensure everyone is comfortable, I want to treat your pet the same as you do.
“Hope was so wonderful with my boys! They are older gentlemen who need a little extra TLC and she went above and beyond for them! Of course sent great pics and an update. The boys can’t wait to see Hope again!”

“Another wonderful experience with Lindsay. I love how she treats my pup like her own and he seems to fit right in with her and her family. She is such a lovely person; I can't say enough good things and would recommend Lindsay to anyone.”

“Coralee was caring, kind and took such good care of our goldendoodle!! She is professional and understands how to care for dogs. We received daily pictures and a quick note about how our dog doing each day. This was our 1st experience with Rover & Coralee - it could not have been better!! Highly recommend!!”

About: Being around dogs has been the foundation of my life since the age of 3. From caring for my own pets, helping our neighbor who bred collies, and caring for dogs while also caring for my patients at work as a home health occupational therapist, I feel like every pet is part of my family. My heart is full around any four legged friend and I strive to care for them, show them the deepest love, and teach them as I do my own children. It’s in my blood! I currently work as a home health OT with a flexible schedule during the day. I also have windows of time during the evenings and weekends to care for any pet. Teaching my sons responsibility and skills required to care well for animals are just an added bonus! I own my home with a large yard in the rear of the home. I’m also able to provide in-home boarding as I do not currently have a pet in the home. I also am able to offer drop-in services to address any home needs (mail, plant care, shoveling or vacation mowing), dog-walking, and light housework. Additional services like dog-walking upon request- let’s make your time away painless without concern at home.
“Brittany was so kind and welcoming to my two high energy pups! She was so patient with them as they warmed up to her home while I was on a trip for 3 days. She also provided several updates and pictures of my boys while I was away, making me feel more at ease knowing they were in a safe environment. She's great!!!”

“Phenomenal experience! We booked last minute with Tara and she not only made time and room for our Echo, but made her feel at home. We received pictures or videos daily, which was much appreciated, and Echo was returned to us exhausted and ready for a nap (so were we)! A+ experience, we will be looking to use Tara again in the future.”

“Kristina was amazing with Lincoln! He was very nervous and shy at first but she did amazing with him. She sent updates and pictures over the weekend so we could stay updated with how he was doing.”

“Had the best experience with Natasha - my doggies were well loved for their entire stay. I loved the photo and video updates, and while I missed my pups I could see that they were in the best hands and having so much fun. They had plenty of walks, playtime outside, and so much love and attention, which is exactly what I want for my doggies when I’m out of town. Looking forward to booking with Natasha again!”

“Annette was lovely and caring to both Gustavo and me. Delays in flights meant I was 7 hours late in getting to Gus. Annette graciously dealt with this inconvenience. She was always quick to respond to communications. Most importantly, Gus clearly felt at home and welcomed from the minute she greeted him. When I picked him up, he was clearly comfortable with Annette. Thank you.”

About: I’ve grown up with animals and have ALWAYS had a special place in my heart for them. I have worked in boarding facilities for dogs and cats and currently have 2 overly spoiled dogs I try to take everywhere with me, and 1 cat who runs the household. I know how hard it is to leave them behind and always be sure they are in the best, most loving care possible. I have work from home capability to tend to your best friend 24/7! No amount of potty breaks are too many and there are no time restrictions on feedings. I have a fenced in yard out back and 2 friendly dogs for your fur baby to keep company. I have a play pen for smaller dogs if necessary.

“She is amazing with dogs. She even goes the extra mile to ensure my pup is safe with a gps collar when they go to the dog park. She is responsible and responsive and will share pics and check in at whatever frequency you are comfortable with. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for boarding for their pup.”

“Our schedule was erratic and included my mistake in scheduling. Sima and her family were gracious hosts and worked with our schedule. I received updates on how our doggo was doing everyday. It has been a pleasure working with them, I would definitely consider them next time we are in town.”
