My husband and I wanted to go away for Valentine's day weekend to get some alone time and we have never been away from our Sheldon, who is a clumsy, gentle giant and lovable doberman pinscher puppy (1yr and 2months and 80lbs lol). My husband was thinking of boarding him at a kennel and I could not stand the thought of him being locked up in a cold pen like a wild caged animal. Honest to goodness (Rover did not pay me) I told my husband about this commercial I saw about people who offer dog services- Rover.com. My husband was skeptical and well, I thought it would be better than a cold pen, where he would pee and poop in his area and let out for so long per day. The site was easy to use and i knew what type of person i was looking for. I wanted my baby to be in a home where he would be loved as their own, warm, and in constant contact with humans (if you dont know anything about Dobermans, they are called velcro dogs because they are attached at your hip and have to be where ever you go). I looked and read Marie's profile and I just knew she was the ONE! Her family was awesome, they loved Sheldon and she gave us frequent updates of their adventures, runs, and how he he'd wind down at night and even included lots of pictures! We could tell he was having the time of his life! Marie and her family put our minds at ease knowing we left him in good hands. We could not be more grateful to have found them. Sheldon came home with a second family. We highly, HIGHLY recommend them! If they are in your area, she is the highest qualified dog sitter and we will be using her again in the future for Sheldon.”
“Megan and her family were great with our 2 dogs. Both dogs are more on the nervous side and tend to be very shy and hide in new situations. Megan said she let them take their time getting to know the place and let them decide when they would be interested in being more social with the family. The girls seemed to do well and were happy and healthy when we came and got them. Also appreciated the flexibility on the drop off/pick up as we were beholden to airline schedules! Our booking was last minute, so I'm very thankful Megan was willing to take the girls and I will be booking with her again in the future.”

I am very flexible and am willing to do any accommodations! Let’s puppy/older dog run daily in a fenced yard with a bunch of toys! Normally I do wake up and let my dog run for about 2-3 hours :)). I have a personal ice maker for chewable cubes for the dogs! I do allow animals on furniture as they are part of the family! I love playing with them, caring for them, being there for them and providing love to them. I love going for walks in the parks, around development, etc. Whatever the pup/dog likes to do is fine with me, I have a lot of history with them so I'd be more than happy to provide for any dog! I do have a lot of references just not on rover, they can be provided upon speaking/meeting! I am very accommodating and can stick to your pets schedule as close as possible to yours! I can work my schedule around whatever is needed for care. For example, pets needing strict medicine schedule. I do work during the day but am available with notice! I can provide drop in visits, pet taxi to groomers or vets, dog parks, etc. Cages would need to be provided especially for multiple pets while I am out of the home. Pets have full range of the home. We have gates for the stairs at top and bottom!

I have a part time job, but if you let me know ahead of time I will not schedule myself to work and be available to take care of your pets. About: I have years of experience. i have had animals all my life and have taken care of all different kinds - turtles, sugar gliders, rabbits, ferrets, lizards, cats and dogs. i have had to take care of senior dogs, and of dogs that needed medications everyday for either seizures or for pain due to being hit by a car. My home is not fenced in, however my dog is trained and comes when called and doesn't need a leash. If Dogs are coming to my home; they will require a leash and harness. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much!
