For our beta fish we were worried about his health, as he developed pop eye just before we left, but Brittany made sure to update us on his activity. About: Hi! I have had pets my whole life. Growing up we had dogs and then beginning in 2006, I adopted my first cat and ultimately turned my family into cat lovers (we have 8 kitties between the various family members). I’ve personally used Rover for the last year for cat sitters during some family travel and have been so impressed with the service that I wanted to become a sitter myself. I am currently working part-time from home, so I have lots of time between school and/or camp drop-offs and pick-ups to play with doggies and kitties. About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has never felt like a job—it’s something I genuinely love. Growing up with a high-energy Blue Heeler taught me how important exercise, attention, and consistency are, while helping raise our Standard Poodle gave me experience with daily routines, training, walks, and plenty of playtime. I’ve also spent years caring for family members’ dogs, including multiple Chihuahuas and other breeds, each with their own unique personality and needs. When your dog is with me, they’ll get more than just basic care—they’ll get patience, attention, and someone who truly enjoys spending time with them. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and make a priority in my weekly routine. I currently work part-time as a Supervisor at Urban Air and a Sales Associate at Vineyard Vines, which gives me the flexibility to plan my schedule around the pets I care for. I’m usually available most afternoons after 3:30 PM, as well as before 4:00 PM on some Fridays and Saturdays. In this role I take appointments, handle and care for both cats and dogs, and assist the other veterinary staff. I am Fear Free Certified, meaning I took a course about animal behavior and how to best reduce stress on your pets. I have lived with dogs, exotics, and small animals my entire life and would love to help you out with any and all of your animals! I have experience with both large and small breed dogs having owned them myself, and regularly walk them. I dog walk as well as pet sit both cats and dogs in the area. I think they might take better care of him than we do at home! My only disappointment is that I didn't immediately secure dates for another upcoming trip and they are not available. I don't think you can find someone better to take care of your pet! We got daily updates and photos that reassured us that Arthur was in great hands- he was smiling in many of the photo updates!”
