“Crystal cared for our cat and our two fish tanks while we were away for ten days. Our cat cannot eat dry food and is on medication. This extremely shy kitty required two visits per day. Crystal's kindly patience earned our cat's trust so that she ate, took her meds, and was in fine form when we returned. The fish tanks are large, and one is salt water. The fish were well cared for, too. Our porch flowers were blooming and our house was in perfect order when we got home. Crystal sent photos and updates after every visit. I never had to worry. About: I’ve taken care of pets for friends and family since I was a kid. I love all animals, especially dogs and cats. I can’t walk past a dog on the street without asking politely to pet them! Two years ago I rescued my dog, Stanley, who is a 24 lb terrier mix. He was abused and took a very long time to warm up, but after a lot of patience and love he’s now thriving and the best boy. I learned a lot with Stanley and feel equipped to work with shyer dogs. Stanley also likes hanging out with other dogs and would enjoy some company around the house! BOARDING NOTE: for the safety of my dog, your dog, and my home, I only accept boarding requests for dogs that are crate trained. Thank you for understanding! I currently work from home full time, so my availability is flexible. Stanley and I would be happy to have you hang out with us at my place (I’d recommend a meet and greet first). I live close to a nature trail that I take Stanley on daily, and we’re very familiar with the neighborhood. I can take frequent walk breaks and crate your pet.

I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to dedicate time to pet care, including walks, feeding, playtime, sticking to pets’ typical routines etc. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and safe. In a client’s home, I would follow instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (if needed and clearly instructed), and any house rules the pet is used to. I also make sure pets get attention, supervision, and plenty of care while their owners are away. I understand every pet is different, so I’m happy to adjust to their personality, energy level, and routine. I can also provide updates and photos for peace of mind.
