About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. We also have a large deck in the rear which has a fenced area off of it to allow plenty of space for unattended bathroom breaks or unleashed space to roam. My children are well versed in animal care and also understand giving space to a new animal, calm energy, etc. I will always setup a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Medications can be distributed, and special diets can be managed.

About: I used to hate cats when I was a kid until I got my first cat, Sombra. She was found on the side of the road as a kitten by a friend and asked if my mother and I could take her in. I was hesitant at first, but decided to give her a chance. 9 years later, and I love her to death, despite her feisty attitude. Most recently,2 years ago, I found 2 more black kittens in an abandoned building, a brother and sister. We took them in with the intention of fostering them until they were old enough to adopt out, but unfortunately, since black cats aren't popular, no one wanted them. I decided to keep them for myself, and now Milan and Marcille are happily living together, with Sombra. (all of my cats are indoor cats)

During breaks from school, I had the opportunity to work in a boarding kennel where I walked, fed, bathed, and played with all types of dogs. I am familiar with all ages of dogs and the care required. Even though I have had most of my life experiences be with dogs, I had the chance to volunteer at a cat rescue as well! When available for doggie day care and boarding, I have a large fenced in yard and I have two dogs in my home, so a meet in greet would be required prior to services to ensure all pets are comfortable. This would be in New Tripoli, PA. There is a nearby creek and park that I can take your pet to for walks if you would like. I am also available for drop ins, walks and care within the owners home! In terms of walking and check ins, I can come to your home and check on your pet throughout the day and take them for walks around your home or to a local park if applicable. Right now, I am in between jobs but also commute daily in between New Tripoli and Mcadoo/Hazleton PA. I am looking to pick up some walking and drop in shifts at this time within the locations of those two towns. I have a large fenced in yard for your pet to be able to roam freely and safely. I also have a pet friendly home and neighborhood to ensure safety. I am also able to travel to your home to provide care and make sure they are comfortable in their own environment.

I am pet CPR and First Aid Certified, so you can have comfort that I will know what to do in emergency situations for your pets. So I feel my skills help me help people with their pets. I have done house calls for giving medication, nail trims, and pet sitting. I WILL NOT take care of your pet if they are aggressive or have bitten someone in the past. For unvaccinated pets I will not take care of them if they have bitten someone. No acceptions! ALL pets are prefered to be up to date on vaccines. I also require a meet and greet of your pets prior to any services so they get to know me and no complications arise, especially for house sitting. I will come to your house and do anything they would need, making it more comfortable for your pet. Whether it be walking your pets, pet sitting, giving medication, nail trims, or taking them out to potty.

About: I gave been around dogs and cats for 16 years! My neighbors, family members, and friends always relied on me to take wonderful care of their pets! I have a part time job, but if you let me know ahead of time I will not schedule myself to work and be available to take care of your pets. About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. We also have a large deck in the rear which has a fenced area off of it to allow plenty of space for unattended bathroom breaks or unleashed space to roam. My children are well versed in animal care and also understand giving space to a new animal, calm energy, etc. I will always setup a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Medications can be distributed, and special diets can be managed.
