Highly-rated overnight sitters - Connoquenessing

“Samantha and Ian took wonderful care of our pups while we were on vacation for a week. They sent many updates and photos while we were away. Our dogs didn't want to come home I don't think! We have tried many dog sitters and will only be using Samantha and Ian from here out!”

“Our dog raced to the front door remembering her stay with Jena and Nick from last year. She remained happy and was able to stick to her normal routines while there. Jena sent pictures and updates regularly and was good about reporting any concerns or issues such as the air quality preventing long walks. They were genuinely concerned about Liz’s well being which is so important to us. Our pet was well cared for, and we plan to use them any time we need a dog sitter. We find them to be reliable, caring, and responsible and know Liz is in good hands while we are away.”

“Our dogs Tobias and Luna seemed to have a good time and exercise with Stacey and his family. Stacey was very responsive whenever I asked for updates and our dogs came back without any new habits. Also Stacey was great with using the smart collar during the day, which gave me additional peace of mind as I could track the activity of our dogs.”

“Maria and her husband were absolutely great to work with! This was our first service with them and even though it is winter, they still did a meet and greet. This gave us time to talk about my senior dogs and their medications, etc. and really put my mind at ease. They were wonderful with our senior dogs and their medications as well as leg braces. We can’t recommend them highly enough!”

About: For the past seven years, I had the privilege of sharing my life with my dog, Agatha, whom I adopted when she was around seven years old. She recently passed away at an estimated 14 years old after battling cancer. Caring for Agatha, especially during the last few months of her life, taught me patience, compassion, and how to meet a dog exactly where they are. As she got older, she needed more hands-on support. Whether it was helping her stand, carrying her when her body wouldn't cooperate (all 55 pounds of her!), or hand-feeding her because that's how she was most comfortable, I learned that every dog has unique needs and deserves care that respects their personality. Agatha was fiercely independent, so I always tried to give her as much dignity and choice as possible while making sure she felt safe and loved. While I'm not ready to adopt another dog just yet, I truly miss having one in my life. That's what brought me to Rover. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet, whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm companion nearby. I live in an apartment with easy access to outdoor walking paths, sidewalks, and a nearby dog park, making it easy to provide plenty of exercise, fresh air, and opportunities to explore. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and at home while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in loving hands. I own a local fitness studio, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to plan my day around the pets in my care. Most weekdays, I'm available between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for walks, drop-in visits, or spending quality time with pets. My mornings typically begin around 8:00 a.m., and I'm at my studio from approximately 9:00–11:00 a.m. and again from 4:00–7:00 p.m. Because I have flexibility throughout the day, I can provide regular potty breaks, exercise, meals, and companionship. Whether your pet enjoys an active walk, playtime, or simply relaxing with someone nearby, I'll make sure they receive attentive, personalized care while you're away. I know that every pet is different, so my first priority is getting to know your dog's routine, personality, and any special needs before their stay or visit. I'll follow your instructions closely, whether that's feeding schedules, medications, favorite walking routes, or little routines that help your pet feel comfortable. In my home, pets will have a clean, calm environment with plenty of attention, fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, and a comfortable place to rest. I live in an apartment with easy access to sidewalks, green space, and a nearby dog park for dogs who enjoy socializing (only with your permission). If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I'll treat your home with the same respect I would my own while keeping your pet's routine as consistent as possible. I'll also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Above all, my goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away.
“Cheryl provided loving, thorough care to our spoiled 4 year old shishon! She sent pictures and videos and was very easy to coordinate with throughout the process. It definitely gave us peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our time away knowing he was in a safe, cuddly environment!”

“Couldn’t be more complementary about Lindsay and her family other than to say that they made Rusty feel like another part of their family. They welcomed him with open arms knowing he had counter surfing issues and separation anxiety. From the photos she sent, it is evident that Rusty enjoyed his stay.”

“We had such a great experience boarding our dog Bear with Michael! From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable knowing Bear was in such good hands. Michael has an amazing, spacious yard that was perfect for the dogs to run, play, and enjoy themselves. It was so nice seeing how well all of the dogs played together and how happy and comfortable they were. One of my favorite parts were the videos Michael sent each day. It was so reassuring and fun to see Bear having a great time, playing with the other dogs, and enjoying his stay. Those daily updates really gave us peace of mind while we were away. We couldn’t have asked for a better boarding experience and would absolutely recommend Michael to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and great with dogs. Our flight was delayed coming home and he was very flexible with the pick up time. Bear came home just as happy as we dropped him off! We will definitely be using him again! 🐾❤️”

“Michelle and Sami were amazing!! They took great care of our very active Weimeraner puppy and it was obvious that he was showered with affection by their family. They're very experienced in training/caring for different breeds, and their Goldens were great pals to our dog. We are so grateful for their help and care!”

“Rocky very much enjoyed his stay. Loved playing with the other dogs. Got pictures and videos of him having a great time! Would definitely recommend Nick and Marissa for a safe environment. Will definitely use them again”

“Erin was amazing. As a first time user of these services, I was hesitant to utilize these services. I also did not want to board him with limited time of attention. Erin was very responsive and provided numerous photos and feedback every single day without prompting. Duke loved his time spent there and would highly recommend utilizing Erin in the future.”

“Christi was such a pleasure to work with and my dog was very well taken care of, and happy and healthy when we picked him up. He stayed active and Christi sent me lots of pictures of his adventures! Recommend and would definitely book again.”

“Alex is a fantastic sitter. She sent me lots of photos of Hank during my trip, and when circumstances held me up for an extra day, she was willing to extend the booking. I can feel confident leaving Hank with her, knowing that he will be in good hands, and I highly recommend Alex to any pet parent.”

“We felt very comfortable with Anthony and his wife taking care of our dog Harley. We got so many amazing pictures and updates! They also took Harley on lots of walks and did a lot of playtime. Harley seemed very happy with them. Would high recommend and we will definitely be booking with them again!”

“Emily and Patrick were wonderful! From the beginning, they were asking thoughtful questions about Ruby's needs, routine, and personality. Their dog, Eli, became a new fur friend to our pup, Ruby and the photos and videos they shared while we were away gave us peace of mind. They were also accommodating as we had to change our drop off and pick up times. We will definitely be booking them again!”

“Samantha took very good care of our three cats. We booked 2 visits per day and Sam sent us pictures amd/or videos for each visit. Our cats looked forward to her visits.”

“Eden was so great with our two cats while we were away! She was responsive, followed all of our instructions, and left thorough notes and photos from her drop in visits. We are so grateful our pets were well taken care off and we will happily hire Eden again in the future :)”

“Jodi was absolutely amazing! She cared for our two older cats as if they were her own. She was also amazing at giving our sugar cat her insulin every day. Also, Jodi’s updates and photos were so great, and we looked forward to reading them every day on our trip. We will definitely rebooking again in the future!”

“Ashley was the perfect caregiver! I came home to a happy & healthy cat - even with a new toy! Thank you Ashley! Very reliable, great communication, and will book again in the future!”

About: **Home full-time.** Since I was a little girl I have always grown up with 2+ dogs in my household, and various pets such as cats, ducks, flying squirrel, lizard - you name it. I’ve seen it all- hyper, lazy, escape artists, mean, social, and animals that think they’re human. Throughout my experience with animals, specifically dogs, it all boils down to one essential trait in animal-care which is patience. Patience is something that I have no shortage of and nothing can scare me away as I have seen it all, the good, the bad & the ugly. I am a huge advocate for animal shelters as I have logged an immense amount of hours volunteering and have helped rehabilitate abused animals. I have rescued 4 dogs, 2 cats, 1 sugar glider, and have helped families find their forever fur babies. I have two dogs of my own: a Sheltie named Meeko, that has been with me since he was 8 weeks old and is now 16. And my very large 140lb, sassy and cuddly Malamute, Luna, who has just turned 9. I promise to treat your animals as if they were my own, because I 100% understand the struggles of trusting someone else with their babies. If you have any questions for me, please don’t hesitate to ask! Pet care isn’t just something I fit into my day..it’s built around it. I work from home, so I’m able to give your furbaby constant attention, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of playtime throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. My mornings start with a walk and feeding, and I keep a steady rhythm of exercise, cuddles, and check-ins from there. Evenings wind down with another good walk and calm bonding time before bed. Because my schedule is flexible, I can easily accommodate feeding times, medication schedules, and each pet’s unique routine. In my home, pets get a safe, comfortable space with plenty of room to relax and play. I keep fresh water available at all times, stick to their regular feeding schedule, and make sure they get regular potty breaks and exercise. I give lots of attention and affection throughout the day, and I keep dogs separated or supervised as needed so everyone feels secure. I send photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing. In your home, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to minimize stress—same feeding times, walk routes, and play habits they’re used to. I’m happy to handle feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or potty cleanup, and any medications. I’ll also bring in mail or packages and keep your home tidy and secure while you’re away, and I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos
“Leslie is super responsive and sticks to our new rescue puppy’s schedule. She sends updates and always keep us in the loop on how they visit went. She is prompt and seems to enjoy her time with our little pup.”

“Samantha was by far the best sitter I have hired from Rover. She notified me when she came and left. Sent photos everyday she was there. My cat became very fond of her in such a short period of time. She was very flexible since I gave her the incorrect dates 🤷♀️ She jumped into action and came a week early with no problems at. I would highly recommend her to watch your pets. ⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Drew was great!! She watched our cat while we were away for a weekend and did a wonderful job! She gave him lots of love and provided lots of pictures which we absolutely loved! We will definitely rebook with her in the future if we can :)”

About: I've cared for cats for family and friends and have had a cat of my own in the past, so I understand that every cat has its own personality and routine. Whether your cat loves to play or prefers a quiet environment, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I'll provide fresh food and water, clean the litter box, spend quality time with them, and make sure they get plenty of attention while you're away.
“Lindsay did an awesome job checking in on my cat while I was away on vacation. She sent great pictures and videos and helped ensure my cat was well taken care of in my absence. Highly recommend her for your pet care needs!”

About: I have taken care of neibhor cats for many years. I also have two cats of my own, Batman and Henri! A dirty litter box is unacceptable, so I clean them out every visit. I love to play with cats!

“We hired Erin to care for our three-year-old tuxedo cat, Lilly, for six nights. As first-time clients, we appreciated how regularly she kept us informed. She often shared photos and videos, and her strong communication skills made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Although she works primarily as a dog sitter, it was clear that she and Lilly quickly bonded - the photos showed the feeling was mutual. Erin also helped with a few household tasks, including setting out the garbage and watering our plants while we were gone. We returned to a tidy, well-kept home and a happy, well cared for cat. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire Erin again. In fact, we think Lilly already misses her. Thank you, Erin!”

About: I have three cats of my own and know how important it is to keep them comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I’m experienced with feeding routines, administering medications, and keeping litter boxes clean. I take time to make sure every cat feels safe and understood, whether they enjoy playtime, cuddles, or quiet company.

About: Hi! I’m Kiersten, a dedicated cat lover who understands that cats deserve care that respects their unique personalities, routines, and boundaries. I have experience caring for cats of all ages — from playful kittens to calm seniors — and I truly enjoy building trust with each one at their own pace. I’m comfortable with all aspects of cat care, including feeding schedules, litter box maintenance, playtime, grooming basics, and administering medication when needed. Whether your cat is social and affectionate or more independent and reserved, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. I pay close attention to small details — appetite changes, behavior shifts, and overall comfort — and I always communicate updates so you have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to make your cat feel as relaxed and loved as possible until you return home. Your cat’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities, and I’d love to care for your feline family member! 🐱💛

Perfect for high energy dogs - Connoquenessing

“Brittany has been such a blessing for me, giving me such peace of mind knowing my pup is well cared for and happy while I'm gone. I have a rescue lab puppy - full of energy with a bit of anxiety thrown in - and she is patient and kind with him, while making sure he does what he should (or shouldn't)! My pup gets excited as we pull up in the car, and can't wait to get out! Brittany sends updates and pictures throughout the day so I can see how he's doing, and I pick up a happy, tired puppy - I feel fortunate to have found Brittany!”
“Evan and Courtney took great care of our dog when she was with them for a day. Our dog spent the day running around with Murphy and came home tired and ready to nap 😃 we highly recommend them for anyone seeking pet care services!”

About: Hi! I just moved to Butler about a year ago and looking to get back into Rover! I did it for about a year or two in Missouri. I have an electric fence but I ONLY would use the collar with parents permission. If not, I will walk them out or put them on a lead. I’ve always taken care of dogs since forever basically lol I’ve always had a dog throughout my life and I currently have 2 friendly fur babies myself. Ninno-boxer and Skye-lab mix. I have had mostly bigger dogs, like boxers labs golden retrievers pit bulls and border collies. I can bathe if needed with your permission and they’re comfort level. My dogs are on flea and tick shots they get once a month. I work from home so I’m always here. Your baby will rarely be alone and if so, it’s only to run to get groceries and occasional times out. I do not have a fenced yard, but I have half an acre for them to run around as they please and a few dog beds for their comfort. I have two dogs that can provide tons of fun and exercise, but with your permission we can also go for walks/runs.
“Melissa was amazing. Jake and I received an amazingly warm welcome when dropping off. My dog has anxiety issues and Melissa and her crew were wonderful. They took Jake on walks, took him to the park and he was so happy. Truly one of the best experiences Jake and I have had. So incredibly wonderful.”

“Mary was great! My puppy was a little apprehensive at first but by the end of the day settled right in. She had great communication and sent a few photos during the day and kept me updated to ease my anxiety.”

About: With over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities, I provide a calm and structured environment where every animal feels secure and cared for. Your pet will be staying in our home's dedicated and separate room that has direct access to a half acre, surrounded by 6-foot privacy fencing, ideal for a safe play and exercise. I am a certified Yellow Dog Walker through Animal Friends and specialize in positive reinforcement, earning each dog’s trust through patience, consistency, and respect. Dogs from different households are introduced carefully and only if both owners approve. Every dog in my care follows a reliable routine built around their owner’s preferences. Feeding, playtime, cuddle breaks, and outdoor exercise are all kept on schedule, with regular potty breaks every few hours to maintain comfort and consistency. I am experienced in administering oral and topical medications, as well as muscular injections. In the rare event of an emergency, I act quickly and responsibly by providing first aid, contacting the owner immediately, and working with their veterinarian or PVSEC, which is 15 minutes away, if advanced care is needed. Boarding, overnight care, and in-home sitting are all available. Clients receive daily photo and video updates to stay connected and reassured. My family takes pride in maintaining a clean, attentive, and loving environment. Choosing our care means your pet is treated with the same responsibility, structure, and affection we give our own. Pet care is fully integrated into my daily routine, as I work from home full time boarding horses. I maintain a structured schedule that begins early in the morning with feeding, medication administration if needed, and outdoor time in the fenced yard. Throughout the day, I rotate between play sessions, walks, and quiet time to keep pets balanced and comfortable. Evening routines include another round of feeding, bathroom breaks, and wind-down time before bed. For boarding and overnight care, I remain on-site to ensure consistent supervision. I plan my workday and personal schedule around the animals’ needs so no pet is ever left waiting for attention or care. Every pet in my care is treated with the same level of safety and respect as my own. My home and facility are designed for secure, low-stress care, featuring a half-acre yard enclosed by a six-foot privacy fence where dogs can exercise freely under supervision. I never mix pets from different households unless both owners confirm compatibility. Feeding areas, bedding, and play equipment are cleaned and sanitized regularly. I monitor all pets closely for signs of stress, discomfort, or illness and respond immediately. In the rare event of an emergency, I apply first aid, contact the owner, and consult their veterinarian or PVSEC if advanced care is required. About: Hello! My name is Izzy, I’m 21 years old, and I’m going into my senior year at Penn State while working at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp. I’m so excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve grown up with having dogs in my household all my life, from a 4 1/2 lb. Chihuahua to a chunky Toy Fox Terrier to a mighty but loving Rottweiler-Black Lab mix. I’ve also been tasked with taking care of my neighbor’s and friend’s dogs over the years, whether that be stopping over to give them food, bathroom breaks, and cuddles, or even staying overnight over the span of a week so the dog(s) don’t feel alone. Therefore, I’m hoping to be the best fit for you, too! Outside of dogs, I love to be in our pool when the weather is warm and being able to do so with my family, pick up new crafting hobbies like scrapbooking or embroidery, and go to concerts of a variety of artists (43 concerts and counting!), most recently being 5 Seconds of Summer. I can’t wait to start this opportunity and hopefully bring some relief to someone in need of dog-helping needs! I’m currently working part-time at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp., and the schedule always fluctuates between 4-6 hour shifts. I don’t have set days, but I’m typically scheduled one weekday and the Friday-Sundays, However, I have plenty of time outside of those shifts and always accommodate around them to ensure that all the dog’s needs are met. At home, I assist in letting our dogs play in our fenced-in backyard, giving them treats when they’ve behaved or done a trick we’ve taught them (sit and “paw”), taking them on neighborhood walks when it’s nice outside, assuring that their food and water are filled, and playing with them to get their zoomies out before everyone starts winding down for the night. Outside of my home, if there is not a fenced-in backyard, I’ve taken the dog(s) outside on leashes for bathroom purposes, as well as do all actions mentioned above from what I do at home. Some houses have also had puppy pads when necessary, and I always take appropriate measures to clean up any messes and re-lay down a fresh puppy pad.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life so caring for them has always been second nature to me. I have hands on experience caring for them through all stages of life from energetic puppies to senior dogs. As a college student on break, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability to focus on pet care. Without classes or campus commitments, I can dedicate my time to regular walks. For dog walking, safety and trust are always my top priorities. I use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid unsafe areas, and keep walks at a pace that’s comfortable for each dog. Clear communication with owners helps ensure trust and peace of mind every step of the way.
About: I grew up with a border collie, and used to sit for numerous friends dogs. I absolutely adore dogs, and I am experienced in administering medication to them as well. I have an 8 month mini labradoodle puppy, so I have plenty of experience with potty training. I currently work two overnights a week, so I am available during the week, and will always have availability for a short notice sit, as I know sometimes things come up. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have numerous runners and will always be outside to make sure your dog is safe and has water. I currently have a mini labradoodle that I adore. She loves dogs, and is on a leash as well. My top goal is for your puppy to feel safe, happy, loved, and right at home!
About: I have been taking care of dogs for years as I’ve trained my own dog to be a service dog when she started as a rambunctious puppy. I have had dog aggressive dogs who I’ve helped them be able to overcome those issues. I as well am able to be very active and can handle large dogs as I have a mastiff and Great Dane of my own. I currently work part time in retail. But would love to get out and get another job that I will enjoy. So I will have a functional schedule that I can always work around with to cooperate with my clients. I will only be going to my clients’ homes which will make sure that your pet is comfortable and I can work with those who may have dog aggressive dogs. I have experience with them and use positive reinforcement with treats for bad behavior.

“I've booked with Drew several times since 2022 and I have always felt my 2 dogs were in excellent hands. She is excellent communicating with me, on time and I know my dogs are in good hands. It was a relief when I had unexpectedly needed someone to walk Caddo and Tasha and found Drew was available. She's my go-to sitter!”

“Samantha and Ian took wonderful care of our pups while we were on vacation for a week. They sent many updates and photos while we were away. Our dogs didn't want to come home I don't think! We have tried many dog sitters and will only be using Samantha and Ian from here out!”

“Bree is great! She took wonderful care of our two dogs, kept us updated with photos and messages, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. We would definitely book with her again and highly recommend!”

“Silvana took amazing care of our dog, Lilah for a week and we are so happy to have chosen her to watch our puppy. She sent us daily pictures of Lilah, took her on walks, hikes, and fun outings. Silvana was flexible with our schedule, and her own work schedule was flexible enough to care for our young dog who has not mastered being home alone for more than 5 hours yet. We are super grateful and will book with Silvana again in the near future.”

“Our schedule was erratic and included my mistake in scheduling. Sima and her family were gracious hosts and worked with our schedule. I received updates on how our doggo was doing everyday. It has been a pleasure working with them, I would definitely consider them next time we are in town.”

“Ruby had a wonderful time with Dana and her dog Cooper. Dana was extremely accommodating and even let us get in a day sooner on a minute's notice! Ruby will definitely be back.”
