“Alyssa is great! She was able to watch Mylo last minute and even it being her first time away from home, she had a blast. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back!”

“My dog is very happy with Grace, so that makes me happy. This was his second visit with Grace, and everything went great. Grace is very conscientious and is in tune with my dog's needs. He'll be back again next week with his sister.”

About: I love dogs! They are the best creatures and so much more than just a pet. My Boston Terrier & I were together for 14 years, from pup to the end of his beautiful life. That bond is something I carry into every dog I care for. I’ve helped friends and family care for their dogs, fostered an adult dog through the ASPCA, and I treat every pup that comes into my care like my own. When you leave your little love with me you can breathe easy knowing they’re safe, genuinely loved, and in the best hands. I look forward to connecting with you and showing your dog the care they deserve! I work from home and am available throughout the day. Pet care isn’t my routine. Your dog will receive my full attention, love and care whether that’s a walk, a drop-in, or a cozy boarding stay at my home. In my home, dogs are free to explore and feel at home. I have a large yard where they can enjoy fresh air and outdoor time throughout the day. I love being outside and regularly take dogs to the local nature preserve for walks and hikes. I have a smoke free home and can accommodate crating if needed. I never give treats without owner approval and always clean up immediately. At your home, I show up with the same level of care and attention. Throughout every visit I send photos and updates with the same level of care and attention. I’ve been told I should be a dog photographer so expect some really great pictures of your baby!
“Charley loves staying here—it is like visiting family! He is always happy to go—he actually starts whining when we get close to their home. Lots of photos and updates helps with my anxiety of leaving my baby. I appreciate Megan and Vitaliy for all the love they give Charley!!”

“This was our first time using DogVacay and Lorraine. We could not have been any happier with the entire experience. From start to finish everything went very smoothly, even a change in schedule. Lorraine was just the best. We felt Scooter was in very good hands and knew he would be well taken care of. We enjoyed getting the pictures and Scooter seemed really happy. I think she enjoyed him as well. She was caring and took really good care of him and we are very happy to have her on board when we need her again. Thanks!!!!”

“Kaylee was awesome to work with, from the time we 1st contacted her for a meet and greet with her dog and ours, to the day we picked her up. Communication was great, letting us know how our girl was doing and pictures daily +. We will definitely use again if/when the need arises. Thank you Kaylee for loving on Zoey like she was your own. ❤️”

“Catherine and her family were so caring to our elderly dog. They really went out of their way to make sure his separation anxiety and old man ways were managed well. Highly recommend them!”
“Anita was great with my pup!! She sent pictures and updates daily - her home is clean and she lives in such a dog friendly neighborhood for multiple walks and fun!! Definitely recommend booking with her!!”
“Jenna was fantastic, flexible, and fluid in all communication. We were in a pinch from out of state and she responded immediately, was willing to do a meet prior to ensure it was all ok and coordinated with multiple people in my family for drop offs and pick ups throughout the long weekend. She sent pics consistently with context and updates and you could see how at home our sweet Geti girl became after settling in. She really observed Geti to ensure she was as comfortable as possible and gave her all the cuddles. Geti was able to go freely in and outside and relax by the window. We would recommend Jenna to anyone needing some pup sitting or care!”

“Julia was amazing. We had an out of town wedding and she took care of our Finn like her own. She has a little Yorkie named Archie and Finn and he had some much fun together. I was so relieved by Julia's updates and pictures that she sent. Finn loves to walk and she took him out for many walks in her very walkable neighborhood. I highly recommend Julia for your next getaway.”

“Madison was perfect with our old beagle. Our dog even had some issues going in and she loved her right up. I think our pup liked it just as much at Madison’s house as she does ours ❤️”

“My girl came home happy and she didn't want to leave her vacation! Erica was communicative and sent a picture or video almost every day which I told her gave huge comfort to my toddler. She delivered all of Coco Chanel's meds without incidence (and even gave her bi-weekly subcutaneous shot). Thank you Erica, we will book with you again!”

“I have a very anxious dog who doesn’t typically eat when we are away but Meagen did what she could to make her feel more comfortable and find something that she might eat. Our dog finally started playing a little with the other dogs so that was good to hear. It was nice for us to know she was well taken care of since it was stressful for me as well.”

“Richard took great care of my dog and provided timely updates and pictures which was very much appreciated. Fanny has some separation anxiety but seemed right at home and comfortable with Richard, I would highly recommend!”

“I can’t say enough about how wonderful Mary was for Ginger (and Us). Thank you Mary for all you did to take such great care with our girl. We were daily in the loop on how Ginger was doing with pictures and videos that were amazing - Mary should consider going into pet photography. Mary gladly adjusted with us to keep Ginger when our return had to be delayed due to a winter storm. You can tell that Mary really cared for Ginger. We will use her again very soon.”

“Cooper had a great week with Beth and her family! He was pampered and cuddled. We got a picture or video every day. We had a great vacation knowing Cooper was also having a great week! We would highly recommend Beth for your pet!”

“Maria is wonderful! We feel so comfortable knowing she's coming in to take care of our two cats while we're away. She sends us pictures of them and lets us know how they're doing.”

“Lila was wonderful, thoughtful and gentle with Sparky. We came home and he was happy and we felt that he was well taken care of. The daily check ins were fun and we felt comfortable and relaxed that he was with a kind and compassionate person. Thank you again for all you did.”

“Stephen is awesome! This was our first time using Rover and his services. His thoroughly written check ins with our pup definitely put us at ease while we were away. He's earned himself a repeat client.”

“Kailyn took very good care of our two precious cats while we were away. She sent us LOTS of photos every day. Honestly, we’re not sure what was cuter – – the pictures of our kitties, or the fact that Kailyn took so many! Thanks, Kailyn and Rover!”

“Lauren's care of and communication about our two cats Ed and Kelly while we were on vacation was excellent! She really helped us relax and have a great time knowing the kitties were in good hands. We will definitely book Lauren again if she's available next time we have a need for drop ins. Thanks so much Lauren!!”

“Jordan's so great. Very easy to work with. I really appreciated the communication and care she provided when meeting Aurora, who can get nervous around new people. Definitely recommend.”

“Chelsea was kind enough to drop in and take care of my two space cadets. She had excellent communication, was very patient with them and kept to their schedule. We will absolutely be utilizing her again in the future.”

“As Nichiren Shoshu Buddhists (nstny.org) we were very concerned about leaving the care of our cats to just anyone. Instantly upon meeting Alyssa we knew she was the one. Alyssa's care for our cats made it much easier for us to dedicate our time to our pilgrimage to The Head Temple at Taisekiji, Japan, always knowing the cats were in excellent hands. With every visit she sent us updates and pictures as well as reports of their temperament and condition. She played with and interacted with them which made their adjust to our return quick and easy.”

“Casey does an amazing job taking care of our kitties when we’re away and we’re so appreciative! She cares for them like they are part of her family, too, with diligent attention to their feedings and litter box changes, as well as playing and creative enrichment activities. We love getting her report card with pictures of them every day, where we can see they are doing well!”

“It was our first time using Rover, but Alyssa helped explain everything and made us feel comfortable. She was also flexible about changing the initial date. We really appreciated how well Jude and Maddie were taken care of for the day! They seemed to have a great day!”
“Our terrier mix puppy has been going to Grace’s for a few weeks now (2x weekly for a full work day) and I can’t say enough good things! My husband and I found Grace because on the days my husband can’t come home during lunch, we didn’t want our puppy to be crated or left unattended all day. Grace and her family treat our puppy like their own dog, she becomes part of their family while she’s there. She gets tons of playtime, attention, affection. I absolutely love seeing the “report card” pictures after each day. It’s very clear my puppy is well cared for during her visits. It’s now to the point when we’re pulling up to Grace’s, our puppy gets excited because she knows where she’s at! 10/10 recommend!”

“New favorite sitter! Our boxer can be very anxious, especially her first few times somewhere. Arfel took such wonderful care of her and shared lots of pictures and updates. Ive never felt more comfortable leaving my dog somewhere before. We did a meet and greet before to ensure the dogs all got along. They have a huge fenced in back yard and deck. Highly recommend!”

I would definitely recommend her and will absolutely use her again! ❤️🐾”

“I really appreciated Nicole's care for and attention to our senior guy. I had no worries leaving him in her care. And since she only takes one animal per day it worked out perfectly. Will definitely use her again!”

“Dakota's favorite day of the month is when she gets to go hang out at Spencer's house. His dogs have officially started being referred to as "the cousins ", and she loves spending time with them. I get peace of mind that she has loved and cared for no different than if she was laying at home with me”

“Stephen went above and beyond! Took great care of our dogs during some extreme heat, terrible thunderstorms and power outages. Great communication. So glad we hired Stephen.”

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up with dogs, I was the kid who wanted to meet every pet I came across, and that passion has only grown into adulthood. Along with having my own two dogs and cat, I've spent years caring for the pets of friends and family, treating each one as if they were my own. I also worked as a stablehand at a local farm, where I cared for a wide variety of animals—including cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, goats, cows, and even swans. I've also volunteered with dog walking programs in the city, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. As a pet owner myself, I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your beloved companion with someone new. That's why my goal is to provide the same love, patience, and attention that I would want for my own pets. I believe communication, reliability, and attention to detail are incredibly important when caring for animals, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and routine. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cozy couch cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal schedule, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Caring for animals has always been more than a job to me—it's something I truly enjoy, and I would love to help you! Pet care fits easily into my routine! I work a typical 9–5 during the week and have some flexibility for evening visits, but I primarily focus on pet care on weekends. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to each pet and provide reliable, attentive care while you're away. I believe pets are happiest when they're able to stick to their normal routine, so I always do my best to follow each owner's instructions and provide care that's tailored to their pet's needs. Whether I'm stopping by for visits, going on walks, or caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'll keep up with feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and of course provide plenty of attention and updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. There were always multiple cats and dogs in my home growing up. My husband, three children (15,13,11) and myself love pets and have take care of family and friends' pets quite often, including bunnies and chickens! We had a large labradoodle with special needs in the past and currently have another large labradoodle. I am comfortable with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes and with giving meds as needed. My kids are always up for a snuggle also! I am a homeschool, stay at home mom of 3. Now that my children are older and more independent my schedule is rather flexible. We are active and walk often and can do school anywhere! Sometimes it would be just me but at times my children (15,13,11) would accompany me as well. We have a fenced in dog run which is very secure. If I am coming to your home I will follow any and all guidelines you have to make sure your pet is safe and happy and loved while you are away.
About: I have pet sit dogs of all sizes over the past 12 years. I am happy to walk your dog or play a game of fetch. I'm also happy to check in on them and spend some time giving belly rubs and cuddles when you can't. I work a flexible part time job. I have time weekdays mornings, afternoons, and evenings to drop in for a walk or give some love to your pet. I will come to your house for walks and play sessions. I can crate your dog when I leave if needed. I can be flexible if you have a special request.
About: I’ll probably remember your dog’s name before I remember yours. It’s nothing personal. I’ve had animals for most of my life and currently have three dogs and a cat of my own. Over the years, I’ve raised puppies, cared for a senior dog through his golden years, and become comfortable administering medications and caring for animals with different needs and personalities. One of my current dogs is reactive to other dogs, so managing reactivity is also a normal part of my everyday life. I understand the extra planning and attention that can come with it, from reading body language and watching for triggers to managing the environment and keeping everyone safe. Mostly, I just really love animals. I go to the National Dog Show every year and visit local shelters in my free time. I’m no longer allowed to foster because that’s how I kept ending up with more dogs and cats of my own, so visiting is the safer option. I’ll probably remember your dog’s name before I remember yours. It’s nothing personal. I’ve had animals for most of my life and currently have three dogs and a cat. My current crew includes a Malinois and a Shepherd, and one of our dogs is also a therapy K-9, so I’m comfortable with larger, high-energy dogs as well as dogs accustomed to more structured routines. I’ve always loved the little ones too. My Pomeranian was my senior girl, and caring for her gave me plenty of experience with the extra attention older pets can need. I’ve also raised puppies and am comfortable giving medications. One of my dogs is reactive to other dogs, so I understand firsthand what that requires. Reading body language, watching our surroundings, managing triggers, and keeping animals safely separated when needed are all normal parts of my day. Mostly, I just really love animals. I go to the National Dog Show every year and visit shelters in my free time. I’m not allowed to foster anymore because that’s how I kept ending up with more pets of my own. I also have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation, so I’m often available for same-day or last-minute visits. If a meeting runs late, date night goes a little longer than planned, or you realize you’ll be away longer than expected, feel free to reach out. I know pet care doesn’t always come with much notice, and I’m happy to help when I can.Outside of caring for my own pets, animals are genuinely a big part of my life. I attend the National Dog Show every year and even enjoy spending my free time visiting local shelters. I’d love to foster, but I know I’d have a hard time not bringing everyone home! Rover gives me the opportunity to meet, care for, and build relationships with more animals while still sending them home to their own families at the end of the day. I know every pet has their own personality, and that’s part of what I enjoy about getting to know them. Whether your pet is outgoing, shy, senior, still learning the ropes, or needs a little extra space around other animals, I’m happy to meet them where they are and help them feel comfortable while you’re away. I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day. It’s easy for me to step away for a walk or drop-in, and I’m often available on short notice. Whether you’re stuck in a late meeting, heading out for date night, or just need someone to check in during a long day away, I can usually work a visit into my schedule. Plus, I’m always happy for an excuse to get away from my desk and hang out with an animal for a while. Safety and attention to detail are a big part of how I care for my own pets. One of my dogs is reactive to other dogs, so I’m used to managing separate spaces, being careful with doors and gates, watching our surroundings on walks, and paying close attention to body language. That level of awareness has become second nature to me, and I bring the same care to every animal, whether they need that extra level of management or not. I’m also careful to follow each owner’s routines, instructions, and boundaries, because you know your pet best. I bring that same level of care to every pet, even if they don’t require quite as much management. I’ll follow your routines and instructions closely and never assume that something is okay just because it works for another animal. Whether it’s feeding, medications, walks, crates, separate spaces, or simply knowing which door needs to stay closed, I want you to feel confident that the details you give me will actually be followed.
“We know we can always count on Grace to take good care of our girl Winnie. Winnie gets excited when Grace comes to visit. We always a get a detail repot from Grace along with pics of our girl!”

About: Hi! I’m a mom of 1 with loads of experience working with all kinds of animals and I am a current AVA student. I was an intern for an animal shelter for 3 years, a dog groomer, and I’ve always had my own animals too. I’m comfortable with special needs animals and all shapes and sizes. I pet sit for several years too and understand how important it is to find a sitter you can trust and depend on. I’m happy to provide more details on my experience! I've watched animals of all kinds for years, including dogs, cats, bunnies, rats, fish & coral, reptiles and amphibians. I was a professional dog groomer and a shelter intern for 3 years, with lots of safety and behavioral training. I focus on safety when it comes to working with animals and take all precautions when greeting, interacting (or avoiding) other animals, and generally all areas. Second to safety, building trust and bonding with animals is something I value highly. I am typically available after 3:00pm during the week and I am flexible on the weekends. I have reliable transportation and excellent communication skills so parents should feel at ease when I take care of their pets. I always follow all requests and instructions from parents for their pets. I do not sit or board currently in our out of my home.
About: When I was 8 my father surprised me with our first ever dog Harley! I fell in love instantly and am so grateful to have grown up with him in our family. When I grew older I took on more rolls taking care of Harley which gave me basic experience in pet care. When he was a senior dog I learned a lot through his medical issues like how to handle medicine and emergency vet visits. Our late dog, Dobby gave me puppy experience showing me how much time, care, and patience is needed for little pups. Anything you need for your dog I’m willing to do! Im a part time college student who also works part time as a server! This opportunity seems like something that could perfectly for my unusual schedule. Dog walking and quick house stop-ins would be my speciality! House sitting and at home sitting is something that would be most easiest if done with a notice in advance:) With the years of experience you can trust me with your home and your pets! I’m a college girl looking for an opportunity that benefits both parties, it’s just a bonus that I love animals! In my care, you and your pets have absolutely nothing to worry about.
“My boyfriend and I were in a pinch and needed someone to take care of our dog while we were out of town for the night... we sent Alyssa a message and she responded immediately... she even came to meet our dog before her scheduled walks with him. We were so impressed by the care she provided for our little guy! She gave updates after each walk and included pictures too (because who doesn't like seeing pictures of their dog when they're not there?!) We cannot thank Alyssa and her family enough for taking such good care of a dog. We highly recommend hiring Alyssa! From the short time we met her, we had nothing but good feelings and if our dog could talk, I'm sure he would say he recommends her, too! Thanks so much again, Alyssa! You are the best!”

“JOY is completely qualified to walk and care after your fur baby :) she is extremely responsive and accepting of any special needs your pup may need. Joy will help teach your dog cute little tricks and basic obedience Under leash. You would be silly not to let joy walk your pups 7 days a week!! I promise you will not be dissatisfied with her professionalism and doggy knowledge.”

About: Hello I am a former home stager, custom closet, kitchen and bathroom designer. I have owned and taken care of animals of breeds and ages. Everything from turtles and lizards to cats, dogs and horses. From kittens to older animals. I travel for work with a ever changing schedule so I do not own pets like I would like to. I currently own an older cat but that’s all. I am happy to spend my time off helping others care for their pets as if they were my own. I am insured. My schedule changes almost daily. I don’t work a normal 9-5 job. I have anywhere from 7-15 days off a month. I will even walk a dog on my way home from work it my schedule allows for it. It’s best to contact me for services at last minute or two weeks BEFORE the next month. I usually have my schedule around 20th the month before. For example I should know my December schedule around November 20th. I live in the suburbs and drive to the city for work. So I am happy to drive to anyone’s home in between my home and Philadelphia.

“Alyssa is great! She was able to watch Mylo last minute and even it being her first time away from home, she had a blast. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back!”

“Tim and his family took absolutely wonderful care of Togo! 🐶 Togo can be a bit of a trouble eater, but Tim and his family were incredibly patient and really went the extra mile to make sure he was comfortable and eating well. They tried different approaches and truly cared about making sure he was happy and settled. They made Togo feel completely at home, which gave us so much peace of mind. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay — Tim regularly shared updates and pictures, which meant a lot to us. Our flight was unexpectedly delayed, and they were kind enough to accommodate Togo for a couple of extra hours at the last minute without any hesitation. That flexibility and understanding really meant so much. We are so grateful and would absolutely trust Tim and his family with Togo again. Highly recommend!”

“Sam and her husband were awesome! Our dog Winnie is usually very timid and slow to warm up to people. It was so comforting to know that she had such a good time there and got to play with some other puppy friends! We will definitely trust and use Sam again in the future!!”

“Corra had the best time with Dolly and her sons. She was well taken care of with plenty of walks and cuddles. Dolly also kept us updated with frequent pictures. Will definitely book Dolly again !!”

“Betsy took excellent care of our dog, as usual. She sent regular photo updates and took him on walks as well as some special adventures. We always trust her and Ron to look after our dog as their own. He’s always comfortable and at home with them.”
