About: In the past I have volunteered a Forever Paws Animal Shelter as a cat room specialist. My job was to complete health checks, socialize, feed, groom, and clean the cats, as well as maintain the cleanliness of the rooms they dwelled in. I actually met my cat there! We created such a strong bond that I had to take him home and we have been inseparable since! I have also volunteered in a cat veterinarian clinic in the past, administering oral medications and helping handle.

“I am very particular with my pup and her safety and I never feel nervous bringing her to Megan's place. She exercises her well and having other pups around helps to socialize my pup! Megan is top notch when it comes to help with training as well! She stays familiar with the rules I have for my dog and makes sure my dog is following the same rules in her home. Since my dog has been taken care of by Megan, she has learned how to walk better on a leash, learned new tricks and also reacts better with other dogs. Megan is extremely knowledgeable about dogs. About: I've had a plethora of animals over my 35 years of existence. Dog breeds include a Labrador, Border Collie, Beagle, German Shepard, and Chihuahua. Other species include six rats, one guinea pig, three rabbits, two corn snakes, and a bearded dragon. I do not have any children, and I'm living with my father. Together, we have two dogs, (one his, and the other mine), a garage cat (his), and a bearded dragon (mine). His dog is a German Shepard named Wren, and mine is a Chihuahua named Milo. Additionally, I quit the job I've had for years, so I have a fairly flexible schedule. All of our animals have schedules for everything. Potty breaks, food times, etc. We keep it fairly strict, but also know how to read our animals, and so the schedule is subject to slight changes. I can adapt, and learn new schedules for clients.

I can take them outside to play a lot too. I don't have a fenced yard so dogs would be leashed and will get long walks. About: Large Animal Science graduate, have completed the vet tech, dog grooming, and agility courses at BCAHS. Experience with diverse/exotic animal caretaking rolls, canine cpr certified, lots of experience with difficult dog breeds. My schedule with work is very flexible. Usually I tend to walk my dog for a 1-2 hours a day. It is extremely important that my dog Nala gets exercise each day to make sure she stays happy and healthy. Sometimes I also take my cat on the walks as well (he loves spending time outside with his sister with his harness and leash on!). Weekends have much more flexibility with my schedule. It is extremely important to make sure that any animal feels comfortable in their environment. Giving them the opportunity to take bathroom breaks and keeping pets on their normal schedule is very important. Giving pets access to fresh drinking water, specific foods, and medications as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.

I then moved abroad for the past 12 years and due to living in a building which allowed no dogs I decided instead to invest in a kitten.. Here we are, years later and I've become rather cat crazy! Dogs enjoy two to three daily walks, outdoor time in my large, fully fenced-in yard, and plenty of playtime, enrichment, and affection. About: Since childhood, I have dedicated myself to the care of animals, finding immense joy and fulfillment in this endeavor due to my inherent affinity for them. Currently unemployed, my flexible schedule enables me to dedicate my time to the care of the animals. I am committed to ensuring that their needs are met. Although I do not have a fenced-in yard, I do have two dog runs. I will prioritize walking the dogs and ensuring their needs are met.
About: I've raised both of my dogs since they were puppies and understand how important consistency is. I enjoy learning about each dog I meet and discovering ways to connect with them. Dog hugs are just a plus! My pet care availability will typically be before 8am and after 4:30pm during the week. I would also consider overnight bookings during the week. Weekends, I am typically available at all times day and night. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I live in an area with a great walking trail and a dog park we can visit. I also have an available crate (Large) with a dog bed and plenty of dog food/treats to share.
