“We were a little apprehensive, never used Rover before, we were unfamiliar with Rillan, just had past reviews to help us choose. Happy to say, we were pleasantly surprised! Rillan is definitely a dog person. Our dog loves to play with other dogs, but dogs need to be monitored so they don’t get too crazy. She has a nice outdoor fenced play area and inside open space. Like a good kindergarten teacher, Rillan makes sure each dog plays nicely, separates those that need a time out and also gives individual attention. She sent pictures and stayed in touch, just for an afternoon of doggie day care! Our dog’s day ended with a nap and snuggles with Rillan and another dog hanging out on the sofa!! I’m currently in college, so I frequently travel between State College and Spring Mills. I have a pretty minimal workload since I have a few online classes so I’m available for most of the day on weekdays and available weekends. I live with cats and dogs so service at my house isn’t the best option unless you have a low energy pet, but I provide service in-home or outdoors for just a walk in the park!

About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.
