“Rachael is fabulous. At the Meet and Greet that my cats immediately warmed to her. She listened carefully to their feeding routine and care needs (somewhat complex-as our very food motivated male cat will try to intimidate our smaller female cat if not separated for meals).I felt completely comfortable traveling out of state, knowing that our fur babies were in Rachael's care. We also entrusted her with feeding and caring for our daughter's gecko, which Rachael was not at all squeamish about. While we were away, Rachael sent me lots of check in pictures (she's quite the photographer, actually), and provided detailed descriptions of her visits. It was so nice knowing how well cared for our cats were, while we were out of town.”

About: I grew up in the home of biologist who kept all sorts of pets. I have experienced caring for a variety of animals, however have the most familiarity with care for canines. I spent a few years fostering dogs with different issues such as separation anxiety and aggression. I raised and trained a Belgian Malinois from 16 weeks to 1 year, giving me experience with intelligent and high energy dogs. I woke full-time from home and therefore am available to be with the pets all day. I am currently a full-time stay at home mom who works remotely about 10 hours a week. MY schedule is open and flexible to accommodate pets. I currently have a 2 year old son who enjoys animals. I am mindful of safety practice for children and pets to keep both safe. I do not have a fenced in yard and will use a leash to leave the house at all times. Depending on your pet's behavior I can crate them and keep them separated in another part of the house.

“This weekend was our first experience with Rover, and Rachel was the best person to show us the way. She and our dog, Chino, hit it off right away at the Meet and Greet that Rachel suggested. During our trip, Rachel let us know about each interaction she had during her drop-in and walk sessions. We could see when she arrived, how long they walked and the route the took. But in addition, Rachel let us know how Chino wasdoing each time, (excited, cooperative, easy on the leash, hesitant, playfully, etc.) Rachel shared lots of pix as well. About: I’ve had lots of pets my whole life. I have cared for two dogs, two cats, goats, chickens, and a rabbit. I’ve petsit for family members and neighbors, petting, walking, administering medicine, etc. I am a student home for Summer break. Right now my days are currently wide open. “Tim and his family were great for our dog. He stayed with them for 5 days. Tim was good about communicating as we were setting up a meet and greet and also while he watched our dog. We weren't sure how our dog would get along with his 2 dogs, but his dogs were very friendly and sweet. We had no worries about them getting along. His whole family came out to meet our dog at the meet and greet. They were all very nice and you could tell they all like dogs. Our dog came back to us happy and healthy. I would recommend Tim and plan to schedule with him in the future.”

“Five stars is not enough for Benjamin! He, and his beautiful family (of humans and dogs) went over and above to take care of our golden retriever, Soda. When we went for our meet and greet we didn’t want to leave. Their fenced in yard and the welcoming kind vibe made Soda and me (her human) feel instantly comfortable and at ease. Benjamin sent photos and videos of her girl having the time of her life while we were away almost 2 weeks. And he managed to get her in the car to go back and forth which is no small task since Soda is terrified of the car. All of this incredible kindness and professionalism took place under extraordinary circumstances since their family was going through major things at the time. We are so grateful to have found him and will definitely be grateful to be able to work with them again. I am always nervous to leave our precious girl, so rest assured, you will be in tbe best of hands if you choose Benjamin.”
