“We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”

About: I grew up in the home of biologist who kept all sorts of pets. I have experienced caring for a variety of animals, however have the most familiarity with care for canines. I spent a few years fostering dogs with different issues such as separation anxiety and aggression. I raised and trained a Belgian Malinois from 16 weeks to 1 year, giving me experience with intelligent and high energy dogs. I woke full-time from home and therefore am available to be with the pets all day. I am currently a full-time stay at home mom who works remotely about 10 hours a week. MY schedule is open and flexible to accommodate pets. I currently have a 2 year old son who enjoys animals. I am mindful of safety practice for children and pets to keep both safe. I do not have a fenced in yard and will use a leash to leave the house at all times. Depending on your pet's behavior I can crate them and keep them separated in another part of the house.

“Tim and his family took absolutely wonderful care of Togo! 🐶 Togo can be a bit of a trouble eater, but Tim and his family were incredibly patient and really went the extra mile to make sure he was comfortable and eating well. They tried different approaches and truly cared about making sure he was happy and settled. They made Togo feel completely at home, which gave us so much peace of mind. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay — Tim regularly shared updates and pictures, which meant a lot to us. Our flight was unexpectedly delayed, and they were kind enough to accommodate Togo for a couple of extra hours at the last minute without any hesitation.
