“I had a fantastic experience with Crystal while she looked after my 9-month-old Snowshoe cat, Mavis, during my spring break. Right from the meet and greet, she knew her stuff. She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. Plus, she ensured Mavis got plenty of playtime – she understood Mavis's playful side. I was impressed by how Crystal helped Mavis and Sushi become friends. They hit it off after a little supervised playtime, which made me feel even better about leaving Mavis with her. What genuinely set Crystal apart was her communication. About: I’m a huge animal lover, and have grown up with pets my whole life, I’ve had 2 dogs since I was 7, but I’ve also had birds, fish, bunnies, and a tortoise. While I haven’t worked professionally as a sitter, I have years of hands-on experience with pets. Taking care of my own, as well as pet sitting for friends. I’ve taken care of senior dogs as well as puppies, and have volunteered at animal shelters. I’m a recent Penn State grad with a very flexible schedule. I have seen it all: separation anxiety, severe malnutrition, high energy, resource guarding, dog aggression, etc. Your dogs are my top priority and I want to keep their routines consistent as possible. I am currently a senior in highschool, so overnight stays are typically restricted to weekends until June, but I am flexible if you live within 20 minutes of Bellefonte. I am free for 7:30am pee breaks and any time after 3:00pm during weekdays. I have finicky dogs, so I understand providing for a dog with specific needs.
