About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.

While in my care, your pet will have my diligent attention and care. I have a big yard for running and playing. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life! I’ve dealt with roles such as training for younger dogs and extensive care for seniors. About: I have grown up with cats and during late middle school years I have took care of my grandparents cats by providing food, water, and entertainment while they went on vacation. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter to entertain and walk the dogs, and recently have had experience house sitting a dog and two cats for two weeks with providing water every day, proper scheduled food, keeping the litter cleaned three times a day and as needed, and took the dog on walks every day to keep her active as well as making sure the cats never got bored. I’m a WVU freshman who is currently working towards majoring in Animal and Nutritional Sciences to pursue a dream job as a veterinarian. I am hoping to gain more experience with your beloved furry friends and a little extra cash in-between my semester breaks! Unfortunately, I do not provide care at my personal residence, but as long as you leave your pets with me I’ll treat them as my own, proving them fresh water every morning, keeping up with the scheduled feeding schedules, and making sure they always have clean litter and that your dogs are walked multiple times a day. I cannot host cats in my home due to the prey drive of my husky, sometimes she’s ok with them, other times not. But I or my sister & I both will come to you! (I pay my sister personally out of my own pocket, no extra fee for you!). *I’ll do feedings for lizards as I have had a few bearded dragon myself as well so I’m knowledgeable here also. (But under no circumstances ask me to care for your snake!) *I offer walks, playtime, feeding & water breaks, treat time, medication administration all in my standard fee. Anything else, just ask! I’m very flexible & willing to work out most things if we can come to an agreement suitable for both sides. Can’t wait to meet the furry parts of your family.🐾 Pretty much available whenever. About: As long as I can remember growing up we always had animals mostly dogs. As I got older I have always been the one my friends and family come to when they need someone to care for their pets. I would pet sit, take them on walks , stay with them and play with them. I am a true dog lover through and through. I have had dogs my whole life . My son has 5 dogs and pretty much everyone I know is a pet lover so no matter where I go I’m around animals. I watch dogs for friends and my son often. I can take them to the dog park to run and play with other dogs. We can go on walks and play in the yard.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 7 when we first got our pug, Loki. He's 14 now. We also got a bulldog, Chubb's. I've walked, fed, and bathed them ever since. I've also taken care of some of my friends pets. For example, I took care of two Australian cattle dogs, fed them, walked them, played with them, bathed them. I have experience working as a trainer and walker at the shelter near me. We took in fosters in need of urgent homes and even had one of them give birth to a litter of four, all of them were adopted out to friends in our town, even the mom! Friends and family have trusted me with their furry loved ones due to the love and care I provide them with while their families are away. My horseback trainer breeds her dogs yearly and I help care for the puppies and their mother during and after birth. I’ve dealt with many different dogs and can deal with a lot of sizes and energies. I work at a dog hotel in the area and have serviced with veterinarians nearby. Bathing, feeding, handling etc. are all things I am more than experienced dealing with and I love what I do more than anything. I have off many breaks as well. I have a very large fenced yard and two big dogs to keep your fur baby(s) company. About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.

I’m comfortable with large dogs and I also have experience administering insulin to diabetic animals. I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat, so pet care plays a huge role in my life! What I do and where I go fully revolves around my pets, so please expect me to show the same care for yours! My yard is large, but not fenced, so if your dog is a runner please keep that in mind. I have a stream in my yard for your babies that like playing in the water and both of my dogs are very active and playful. My cat however, is not fond of other kitties. If watching your pets in your home, my primary concern is making them feel comfortable and allowing them to burn off some energy while you’re away.
