I am your introverted, nurturing childless millennial that treats every animal with endless attention and love. As a speech-language pathologist, I also think that understanding animal communication and respecting boundaries are key. If your pet is showing me they need space, I will listen to them and make sure they are well fed, their needs are met and a soft presence is near. If they are showing me that they need more love and attention, I will stay and give them more love and attention! I can’t wait to meet your furry family. Right now, my schedule is wonderfully flexible. I’m a teacher on summer break and transitioning into a teletherapy position, so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets throughout the day. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as consistent as possible, so I make it a priority to learn each pet’s normal schedule, preferences, personality, and needs before their owner leaves. In a client’s home, I carefully follow feeding schedules, refresh water, clean litter boxes and outdoor areas as needed, administer medications when required, and make sure pets receive the exercise, enrichment, affection, and companionship they have when you’re home. I pay close attention to body language, behavior changes, appetite, energy levels, and overall well-being. As a speech-language pathologist, communication is a big part of my professional life, and I bring that same attentiveness to the animals in my care. About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and a tortoise for a few years until he got too big (lol). I absolutely love all animals and I am a wildlife major at West Virginia University, where I have learned the responsibilities of proper care of all animals including pets! I love taking my dog Stella for walks and would love to be active with any pets whether that’s a walk, playing outside/inside, or just keeping them company! I have dog sat since I was 13 for almost all my family members and respect the space and comfort of all pets! I work from home which allows me the flexibility to prioritize pet care in a way I wouldn’t be able to with a traditional office. This gives me the ability to keep anxious dogs company, breaks for play time, medication, cuddles or walks when they are needed, not when they can be fit in. I create a calm, secure environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether in my home or theirs, I work on building trust by moving at each pet’s pace and honoring their boundaries. Safety is always my top priority, I supervise pets closely, follow all instructions carefully, and adapt to their unique needs. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets ever since I was little, I’ve lived with at least one pet almost my whole life. Because of this, I am able to recognize body language in pets with relative ease, and how to react based on what signals they’re sending. Most of my experience comes from dogs, but I also have plenty of experience playing with and taking care of cats, bunnies, chickens, turtles, and more! I have lots of energy, patience, and love to give any little (or big) creatures that cross my path! My current work schedule is extremely flexible, and I’m working part time, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets any time throughout the entire week! I can frequently stop by since my job keeps me on the move and spend loads of time with them before and after my shifts! Both of my own dogs are trained with an invisible fence. I have a pretty big yard so they don’t need to go on walks super frequently, but I still like to take them out every once in a while. I feed the dogs twice a day (once in the morning and once at night), but I take it by a day by day basis as sometimes they have leftover food, etc. I usually spend at least an hour or so of my day specifically playing with my dogs, but I understand that your pets will most likely have different play wants/needs. I am always down to cuddle and give lots of pets and belly rubs, but I would never force your pets to if they aren’t interested.

I work full time as nurse, however I work three twelve hour shifts a week so I have flexibility! I can be available during the weekdays while you are at work! About: I have six dogs of my own, I have been an AKC breeder since 2009, and I would love the opportunity to spoil your pets while you are away. I have lots of time, love, and a nice facility for them. I currently work part-time, I am away 2 1/2 hours in the morning and again 2 1/2 hours in the afternoon. I am a bus driver and off for the holidays, weekends and summer. I have very strong 10 x 10 kennels set up outside with a 10 x 30 run.
