About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. I’ve taken care of my families, friends, neighbors. I’ve bathed them, fed them, taken them out, and more. I used to work at a dog boarding and doggie day care. I am very flexible and can work around any schedule and pets schedules. About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! Currently I’m a stay at home mom, this allows me to spend a lot of one on one time with your pet. Your fur baby will be well cared for and interacted with while they’re here or while I’m there! I have 3 kids. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your fur baby to run! About: My entire life pretty much I've grown up around animals! I've had different rodent, and currently have 2 cats. The last 10ish years my family and I have cat/dog sat for multiple family members and friends. The last year I've cat sat for my neighbor multiple times. As far as regular work goes, I'm only doing part-time due to the limit on how many hours are being given. I'm also not enrolled in school, so my schedule has more than enough time to fit in some extra pet care. I have experience with giving medication (mostly pills), so if your fur baby has meds that are needed to be given, I'm more than willing. Like a lot of animals, I enjoy basking in the sun. So, taking your animals on long walks isn't an issue either. Your animals needs are my priority.

I see them as family and friends, This means that daily routines such as feeding/watering, bathing, walking, playing, and administering medicine are not done as routines. I’m Mags (Rover requires me to use my legal name) and I love all animals I have been passionate about dogs ever since I was a child but because experienced working with dogs and cats (and some bunnies) while working for the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently employed part time and have many days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any client’s schedule as needed. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. I have a fenced in back yard and am usually not gone from the house for more than four hours. I also am available for staying over nights at clients houses for a more comfortable experience for everyone in the family.
