About: Hello! I am home for the summer and looking to spend my time with adorable pets and show them some love! I have been taking care of my two dogs since the 5th grade and I just graduated college. I love going for walks and playing fetch. I’m also content chilling on the couch and watching doggies nap. Your pet will always receive love in our house, we will treat them with one more member of our family, with fresh water and food, they will have company to play, you can trust that they will have excellent care In the morning the first thing we do is take them to pee and poop, then we give them food. It usually comes out again 20 or 30 minutes after eating. We work from home so breaks for pee and poo are constant approximately every 1 or 2 hours maximum. I have a beautiful chocolate labrador that can be the perfect company for your pet, I don't have a fence but my neighborhood is safe and my back yard is big to play in we use thelong leachs, we can take him to pee and poop with his dog collar or keep an eye on him if he likes being without a dog collar

About: Hello! I am home for the summer and looking to spend my time with adorable pets and show them some love! I have been taking care of my two dogs since the 5th grade and I just graduated college. I love going for walks and playing fetch. I’m also content chilling on the couch and watching doggies nap. Most days I don’t have any obligations throughout the whole day and can work my daily tasks and errands around walking or checking on dogs. I always make sure my pets have water available all the time, especially in the summer. My dogs usually go on a leash when they are outside, and I feel most comfortable walking dogs with a leash. About: I was never allowed a dog as a kid, so I took any opportunity to walk and dog sit my neighbors and family’s dog. I lived with my cousin for 5 years who has a 60 pound St. Bernard mix. And we shared all doggie duties! I am currently unemployed, healing from an Achilles tendon surgery, and work on boats when I am working. I have a wide open schedule and an amazing partner who helps. About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.

“Amanda was extremely helpful, attentive, and reliable when we needed to board our doggie, Gastón. She was flexible in us bringing homemade food for the 4 days Gastón would be staying with her and she gave me all of his things back in pristine condition. On the evening of our pickup, our flight was delayed by close to 1 hour, which pushed back our pickup time. She was extremely understanding when we communicated this with her. We offered to pick him up the next morning, but she shared that she is fine with us picking him up late that evening, which we definitely really appreciated! Also, Gastón gets dirty faster than other breeds, but Amanda kept him clean and he came back to us in the same condition we brought him at the start of boarding. Last but not least, Amanda shared updates with us for all 4 days, sending us photos of our lovebug and letting us know how he was doing that day. It relieved a lot of anxiety for us while we were away. We are extremely grateful for all the careful attention Amanda paid to our pup and will definitely be leaving Gastón with her again!”
