About: I’ve grown up with dogs all of my childhood. I just started this as a side hustle, and I absolutely love it! I love meeting new pups and being a helping hand to somebody as well! I work a full time job outside of pet sitting. I’m gone from 10am-4pm and my off days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. My schedule is very flexible, so if there are any issues with my work schedule, it can be moved around. I’m typically gone between 6-8 hours depending on travel time as well. Currently we have 2 dogs, a purebred 32lb female Siberian Husky & a Designer Breed 15lb female Pomsky. They are both crate trained & house trained. Both are fully registered ESA (Emotional Support Animals) & I take that very seriously as to their training & how exactly I want them to behave. I recently lost my female German Shepherd; & a year prior my male Siberian Husky. My male Siberian was epileptic so I’m experienced in offering meds and know that having them on hand & on time IS A MUST for things of this nature! My shepherd was very elderly (about 14) & required a lot of extra love, care & attention also. So I am also compassionate about animals that need some extra loving. *I offer very basic kitty care. I cannot host cats in my home due to the prey drive of my husky, sometimes she’s ok with them, other times not. *I’ll do feedings for lizards as I have had a few bearded dragons myself as well so I’m knowledgeable here also. (But under no circumstances ask me to care for your snake, or your spider!) ***I offer potty breaks, walks, playtime, feed & water breaks, treat time, medication administration ALL in my standard fee. About: I’m Emily! A little about me: I love to run, lift, paint, and read. I am currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh studying Speech Pathology and Audiology who’s home for the summer! I've been a pet owner myself for about 5 years now. My family currently has three cats and has had a dog and another cat in the past. Within the last seven years I have dog and cat sat for a lot of my extended family and friends. I'm currently on the hunt for a part-time job for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands to look after and care for pets. I also have my own car and am hanging out with friends a lot, so I am always around. I am very diligent with making sure doors and windows are shut and locked to ensure that your pets do not go in or out (if they're indoor pets/ not on a leash) as I have to do that with my own pets! I also realize as it grows hotter, animals become dehydrated and hot as well, and I am careful to make sure water bowls are filled, and there is water during walks as well.

I have the ability to be able to stay home with my family and my pets and care for them during the day and night making sure no one is ever alone ❤️ Currently a stay at home mom caring for my 6 year old and 2 year old twins! With being home I have all the time in the world to dedicate to your fur babies. We love adventures like playing in the fenced in yard, throwing ball and going on long walks. Of course there is always love and cuddle time scheduled in with us too We bought our house for our yard! Lots of room for playing outside in the safety of not having to worry about your pets roaming off. We have a crate available for dogs who need it and are crate trained. Of course only if the owner request will they be in it.
About: I graduated with a BS in animal science with a companion animal emphasis, obtaining knowledge/experiences through classes, labs, internships, and employment. I worked as a veterinary assistant and kennel tech throughout undergrad seasonally and for several months post-grad at 2 different clinics. I also worked as a wildlife rescue & rehab intern and aquarist intern during undergrad, focusing on animal care and husbandry. Lastly, I have owned/helped care for family pets almost my whole life (including rodents, rabbits, and a dog) and have pet sat dogs and cats for family friends/neighbors on the side.
