The pups didn’t exactly make a great first impression—let’s just say they had some settling in missteps in the first 10 minutes that had us cringing. But Amanda was amazing, brushing it off with a smile and total confidence. She knows her stuff, having worked with veterinary’s practice, and made us feel quite comfortable leaving our pups with her. She sent us daily texts and pics, which was a relief. The dogs clearly loved her, and by the time we picked them up, they were chill, happy, and obviously well-fed and exercised. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was young. I understand that pets are apart of the family and how difficult it is to leave them behind when on vacations. That’s why it’s so important to me to make sure there is someone who treats my animals the same way! Alex (my significant other) and I would love nothing more than making sure your furry friend remains comfortable and safe while you are away. Alex and I both work through the day but live very local (5 minutes from our home) so we can check on them throughout the day if needed. We are also very active so pets that need extra walking or a hike is not a big issue for us in the least! I work full time and so does my partner Alex, however we both get an hour lunch and are willing to both work around schedules to fit where needed! Both of us do live very close to home so if needed we can always stop by the house and check in. My pets are my family so yours would become my family as well! Both cats and dogs need someone that is going to be willing to play with them daily! I have multiple kennels of different sizes if a pet needs one/is comfortable with one. If not I also have a room dedicated to keeping pets comfy while I am gone during the day. It’s always helpful to have a space where pets can decompress when they are in an unknown location.

From the very beginning Janet was an absolute sweetheart, meeting me on the porch to grab my little guy, asking pertinent questions to be sure she was doing the best for him and even putting up low wires in her house to keep him from chewing them (puppy) Dash took to her immediately, tail wagging and kisses like she was an old friend of his, since dogs are a good judge of character, I just knew this was going to be a great day for him. From picture updates, to her summarizing their daily activities for me, I was totally at ease and had a happy heart with my decision to reach out to Janet to keep Dash for the day. About: I actively foster dogs/puppies on a consistent basis for several years. I've worked with the same Animal Rescue for a long period of time and have experience with many different situations. With the Rescue I regularly handle different scenarios and medical needs, from new born pups to seniors! I'm comfortable with all shapes, sizes, and medical history. Most temperaments I have lots of experience with as well. I work from home full-time. I'm home all day every day Monday-Friday. My weekends only consist of a few errands making me gone for no longer than 4-5 hours at a time. I have a 7ft tall, fully fenced, back yard. I can kennel a dog if needed, but generally they would be out hanging with me. No dog will be left unattended, inside or outside, for long periods of time. I have two adult dogs in the home that can be introduced or remain separate if needed. I also have a 6yr old in the home that loves and is respectful of all animals.

About: I take pride in learning each pet's routine, personality, and behavior quirks rather than using a one size fits all mindset. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal schedule to reduce stress and make it easier to pay attention to subtle changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or health. My clients' homes are always treated with the same care and respect as their pets and if you wish to receive it, im happy to provide you with updates and photos while you're away. I have a job at Endless Mountain Labradors where I transport and help provide care to our dogs. I do not have a set schedule so please message me to work something out. I'm very flexible! About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently working full-time but would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I currently work full-time as a front desk agent at an hotel and do my best to update my availability as the schedule comes out. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash when they go out for walks and to potty unless there is a fenced in yard.
