About: My husband and I are animal lovers in general and dog lovers in particular. We always worry when boarding our own dogs and, now that we've retired, we wanted to provide a "home like" boarding service for other dog lovers. We have 2 rooms dedicated for the dogs to roam free. Sofa for lounging and television or music available during their stay. Bright sunlight and large windows. We have a large kennel that is outside and the dogs are free to come and go through a doggie door in our kitchen. We have many years experience caring for dogs and our family currently includes 2 bichon Frise. They are both peaceful and friendly and love meeting new dog friends. We wanted to provide a reasonably priced animal boarding service close to home. We are located in Hunlock Creek, 25 minutes from Dallas or Wilkes-Barre, 15 minutes from Nanticoke. Drop off time is anytime from 9AM on and Pick up time is by noon or you must schedule another day. If special times are needed let us know. We will also board birds and small pets at a lower rate. Ask us. Please visit us to see our home ! We are retired and available most days full time - check the calendar. All boarders roam free during the day and sleep on floor or in bed you provide at night. Feedings and treats on daily schedule. Daily exercise in yard if good weather. Dogs roam our secured house freely. Will either be on leash or on zip run if in yard. If dogs need to be separated we have a room we use for that purpose. If your dog likes to sleep in kennel please bring with you or we will provide a kennel or cage (extra fee).

If you work mid shift or over night and need somewhere for your four legged children to go while you work we have just the place for them. About: I have cared for dogs and cats since I was a child. I have always had pets, and they were all family members. I went to school for Horse Husbandry. I have always been a horse person. We always had multiple animals in the house when my children were young. My dog, Nina recently passed at 17 and she had been my traveling companion all of her life. I have a natural love for animals that they can sense. I treat them as family, whether they are yours or mine. I will love them as my own. I am quite flexible as I am not currently working. That being said, I am not an early morning person. I usually am up before 9 though. I recently moved to Dancing Hen farm with my cats. They are strictly indoor cats until the spring. They are fed wet food twice daily and always have dry food. I feed Dilly, my step dog premium kibble with Freshpet, cheese, eggs, and chicken twice daily. She gets plenty of exercise on the farm. All of our pets are allowed to sit, sleep, nap wherever they want, including our bed and the tables. Everyone has a different style of living with with animal family, so I would do as you do with your furbaby.

My schedule is pretty packed, but I will make accommodations with you to accommodate the needs of your furbabies or ones with scales. I then moved abroad for the past 12 years and due to living in a building which allowed no dogs I decided instead to invest in a kitten.. Here we are, years later and I've become rather cat crazy! About: I have been passionate about the care of animals ever since I was a child. I’ve owned 4 dogs of my own and would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby. I now have the time and space to offer my home and large, fenced-in yard to dog sitting services for your dog’s needs. Pet care is fully integrated into my daily routine. I work full-time from home, so I’m able to provide constant supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My own dog, Kip, is part of a consistent schedule that includes two to three walks daily, outdoor time in our large fenced-in yard, playtime, and downtime for rest and cuddles. I follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walk routines, and any special instructions provided by the owner.
