I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I have pet-sat for family and friends as well. I currently have a very flexible schedule. I am generally available during daylight hours Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and 5 PM or later Tuesday and Thursday. Before or at the start of our first walk, I'd like to get to know your dog's preferences, triggers, and typical walking habits and routes. I suggest treats for positive reinforcement if working on socialization and a slip lead to reduce pulling. A safe, enjoyable outing is my priority for your dog.

About: I am a known cat lover and have been my whole life. My family has owned 4 cats in my lifetime, and I have deeply bonded with all of them. In 2021, I adopted my first cat that wasn't a family cat, Olaf. I absolutely adore him, and he is so special. In addition to typical care, Olaf also requires teeth cleaning every other day. If your cat has similar needs, I am comfortable cleaning teeth. Olaf is a tricky cat to play with -- he is very specific. My family dog, Kasper, passed away about two years ago and was central family member for about 17 years. About: They call me the female dog whisperer. I've always had a passion for animals and I love dogs & all the different breeds & personalities ! I thoroughly enjoy all the different breeds of dogs and cats along with all of their very specific needs! I am going to be attending school in March for dog training and I'm so excited to start that! For I have always wanted a career working with animals I love all kinds of animals, dogs,cats, birds, lizards, I had to Schneider skinks .,..in the past. Mojave and Sahara just like the deserts! Your dog&/or cat will be treated as part of the family, just like my own dog is treated. I'll follow your rules & routines. Just give me as much information as you can, & we will stick to that schedule! If your dog sleeps in your bed, then your dog will sleep in my bed and if your dog is used to eating at nigh, well then that's when your dog will eat, or if in they are used to eating in the am, then they shall eat in the am! I'm experienced with giving oral medications to dogs and cats. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend. I do have a Boston Terrier named Bandit who is a little guy about 20 lb but he thinks he's a big dog but he wouldn't hurt a fly! Lol. Any ? S please feel free to ask? I'm home 24/7 at this time in my life, unless I have a Dr Apt. Even if I do have a doctor's appointment, they don't take all day by any means. I would absolutely let you know ahead of time if that was the case! I believe in clear, concise, specific, & honest communication! I have a fenced in yard. I also have a clothesline going through my backyard where I can put the dogs out on a long leash if they are sneaky escape artist( like my little stinker! None of that happening here! About: I truly believe that pets are part of the family and am here to treat yours as my own. I am the first person my friends turn to when they need a sitter, and have both hosted dogs in my house and stayed with them in their own. I also enjoy pet visits and walks! I work as a teacher, so most of my availability is on the weekend and during summer months, although I am available for evening visits or walks during the week. I have a large fenced in yard that is great for running and playing and live in a neighborhood ideal for walks. I have a large crate available, if your dog’s routine includes crating. My own golden retriever would love to be friends with and keep your pet company! While I allow pets on my furniture and beds, I will follow the rules established for your pet. Your pet will receive plenty of love and attention!
