About: I truly believe that pets are part of the family and am here to treat yours as my own. I am the first person my friends turn to when they need a sitter, and have both hosted dogs in my house and stayed with them in their own. I also enjoy pet visits and walks! I work as a teacher, so most of my availability is on the weekend and during summer months, although I am available for evening visits or walks during the week. I have a large fenced in yard that is great for running and playing and live in a neighborhood ideal for walks. I have a large crate available, if your dog’s routine includes crating. My own golden retriever would love to be friends with and keep your pet company! While I allow pets on my furniture and beds, I will follow the rules established for your pet. My mother-in-law just turned 100 and my wife arranged a large family gathering for a 4 Day Florida celebration where her mother resides. We scheduled a meet snd greet with Amy and Patrick, Timmy and ourselves. We immediately felt that Timmy would be in good hands and Amy and Patrick disappoint. As an adult I started off with just having multiple cats and then began to have dogs enter my life again. I had a very loving Pit Bull for a short period of time and a few years later I adopted a Boston Terrier who is now 13 years old. In addition to my senior dog, I now also have a 1 ½ year old Boston and 1 senior cat. I never had children so these are my kids and my extended family. I have experience with potty training a puppy and also have extensive experience with senior dogs as my senior is currently half blind, has incontinence issues (at times) and has trouble walking. I currently can be home during the day and am usually home in the evenings and on weekends. When I know im pet sitting i stay home so my focus is on your pet. I spend a lot of time playing, walking and giving love to my pets. I will do the same for yours. I have a large unfenced yard but also have a dog park nearby that i utilize. We were updated with text and pictures from Chelsea each day she had Rascal. One of our concerns was Rascal doesn't like being crated and Chelsea let us up front she doesn't crate dogs. She allows them to be on her furniture and has dog beds for them to lay on as well. She takes them out for walks and potty breaks and Rascal seems extremely happy when he was with Chelsea and her family. If we lived in the area we would use Chelsea again and again. “This was first time Timmy, our 5 year jackapoo, was ever away from home without us. Timmy is very much attached to us and we’re very protective of him. My mother-in-law just turned 100 and my wife arranged a large family gathering for a 4 Day Florida celebration where her mother resides. We scheduled a meet snd greet with Amy and Patrick, Timmy and ourselves. We immediately felt that Timmy would be in good hands and Amy and Patrick disappoint. We received pictures and videos daily of Timmy on walks, playing and at bedtime. They followed our directions for feeding and treats to the letter! We highly recommend Amy and Patrick if you are looking for loving and caring folks to take care of doggie while you are away. They’re the best!”
