About: Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away. With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.

She made sure their food and water was filled, scooped the litter boxes, swept up around the litter boxes, and stayed and played with the kitties for awhile. She took lots of pictures to send to me while I was away. My white cat, Tigger, hides whenever anyone comes over (he only stays out for me) and she had pictures of him laying on the couch!!! She treated my cats as if they were hers, provided them with utmost care, and spoiled them. She even let them use her own ipad so my cats could play the mice hunt in her ipad. About: I used to hate cats when I was a kid until I got my first cat, Sombra. She was found on the side of the road as a kitten by a friend and asked if my mother and I could take her in. I was hesitant at first, but decided to give her a chance. 9 years later, and I love her to death, despite her feisty attitude. Most recently,2 years ago, I found 2 more black kittens in an abandoned building, a brother and sister. We took them in with the intention of fostering them until they were old enough to adopt out, but unfortunately, since black cats aren't popular, no one wanted them. I decided to keep them for myself, and now Milan and Marcille are happily living together, with Sombra. (all of my cats are indoor cats)

My schedule is pretty packed, but I will make accommodations with you to accommodate the needs of your furbabies or ones with scales. I moved in March of last year so boarding at the new place might be a bit busy. I do have enough room to accommodate at least 3 dogs. I don't have a fenced in yard at my apartment however I love to take them on long walks. I have walked dogs of all sizes. Super tiny to 100+lbs. I also have my own pupper Krypto so if boarding at my home please make sure your dog is other dog friendly as well as cats. I have 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 rat and a goldfish. If you are looking to board in my home I suggest a meet & greet to make sure your furbabies and mine are safe for their stay. I care for my clients furbabies like they are my own. I make sure the furbabies are happy and healthy. I will make sure my clients needs and wants are met. If you need me to watch them at your house, your house will be treated like my home. I will make sure your home is like you left it. I love to send updates because I know leaving your furbabies is really nerve wrecking.

About: Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away. With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.
