About: I've basically been owned by cats my entire life. I grew up with them, have shared my home with them throughout my adult life, and have happily accepted that I exist primarily to serve their every whim. These days, my household is run by three feline bosses: Ellie, my sweet 9-year-old, and two mischievous 1-year-old brothers, Merlin and Gandalf. Between the two of us, someone is usually here. Sometimes I have errands to run but I’m not ever gone more than 2-3 hours max. He showed me a lot of how to deal with reactive dogs, especially on walks and dealing with strangers who may not get that their dog may be friendly, but yours may need that extra space to be comfortable. I now also own two cats, adopted from the local shelter Paws and they have become my life. They are very clingy but also shy towards strangers. So I also very understand if you own some shy cats, I would love them just the same! I currently live all year in State College, work full time but still have plenty of time for my cats and still have more time for others. Just let me know 24 hours ahead or more and it can happen! I am fully comfortable crating all kinds of dogs, walking any breed, or dealing with any shy temperamental cat. I have 3 cats and if your dog does not like cats, they are perfectly fine hanging out in the basement during your dog's stay. This is my 7th year pet sitting.
