My husband and I wanted to go away for Valentine's day weekend to get some alone time and we have never been away from our Sheldon, who is a clumsy, gentle giant and lovable doberman pinscher puppy (1yr and 2months and 80lbs lol). My husband was thinking of boarding him at a kennel and I could not stand the thought of him being locked up in a cold pen like a wild caged animal. Honest to goodness (Rover did not pay me) I told my husband about this commercial I saw about people who offer dog services- Rover.com. My husband was skeptical and well, I thought it would be better than a cold pen, where he would pee and poop in his area and let out for so long per day. The site was easy to use and i knew what type of person i was looking for. I wanted my baby to be in a home where he would be loved as their own, warm, and in constant contact with humans (if you dont know anything about Dobermans, they are called velcro dogs because they are attached at your hip and have to be where ever you go). I looked and read Marie's profile and I just knew she was the ONE! Her family was awesome, they loved Sheldon and she gave us frequent updates of their adventures, runs, and how he he'd wind down at night and even included lots of pictures! We could tell he was having the time of his life! Marie and her family put our minds at ease knowing we left him in good hands. We could not be more grateful to have found them. If I have patience with high energy 5th graders, your pet will be a piece of cake! I am a 5th grade Science and Social Studies teacher. During the school year I am available for early morning check ins and any time after 4 pm. during the week. My weekends are open to fulfill your needs at any time. Between June 1st and August 14th my schedule to help you out is wide open. In your house it is your rules. I will follow whatever guidelines and directions you have for me. At my house, I am willing to crate or not. Whatever your preference. I do have a nice sized yard, but unfortunately it is only fenced in at my pool. I would have to supervise your pet in my yard.

I focus on consistency, safety, and making sure every dog feels at home, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is part of my daily routine, not an afterthought. I’m available to board your dog or provide care for a few hours, depending on your needs. I’m fully available on weekends, and I also work from home on Mondays and Fridays, allowing me to give your dog consistent attention and companionship on those days as well. I usually take our dog out every four hours. But depending on your dog needs, i can adjust.Depending on your pups needs, i can keep them separate from our dog or keep them together. I am flexible.
