About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! I’m a stay at home mom and I homeschool my two teenage daughters. They absolutely adore animals as well. I feel this will allow me to spend a lot of one on one time with your pet. Your fur baby will be well cared for and interacted with while they’re here! (Please note that Rover doesn’t consider my children’s ages to count towards, “children being present in our home.” However, I think this information should be available to those who choose to put their pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your fur baby to run! I also have separate family room in my house where our dogs sleep at night, and that is where I would put crates if they need to be crated at any time.

About: I grew up with a cat as part of the household. I've taken care of cats since I was 12. I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. Now, they are among the most affectionate and friendly cats I've known. They get along with other cats after a couple of sniffs and a hiss on their part.

We had a very busy and hectic schedule during our visit with family up in the York/Hanover area, Chelsea worked with us each day on our drop off and pick up times which allowed us to spend time with our grandkids without being rushed or stressed about our furbaby Rascal. We were updated with text and pictures from Chelsea each day she had Rascal. One of our concerns was Rascal doesn't like being crated and Chelsea let us up front she doesn't crate dogs. She allows them to be on her furniture and has dog beds for them to lay on as well. She takes them out for walks and potty breaks and Rascal seems extremely happy when he was with Chelsea and her family. If we lived in the area we would use Chelsea again and again. We are very grateful to have found Chelsea for our furbaby Rascal, she was so good to him. We highly recommend you choosing Chelsea to watch your furbaby.”

I treat every animal and home as if they were my own and have numerous positive experiences from pet owners. About: I've been around animals my whole life. From the littlest of fish, to the largest of cows and other farm animals! I have 3 dogs of my own, two Colorado mountain dogs and a medium pittie mix. I work full-time 9:30am -6pm, Monday -Friday in York, Pa, so I limit my service area during the week to areas between York and New Oxford. I can serve a larger area such as Gettysburg and Dillsburg on weekends. I adhere carefully to client directions about medication, supervision, feeding, and exercise. I want dogs to keep their usual routine as much as possible, and owners to rest assured their treasured pets are cared for as they would. I’m following in her footsteps, i’ve been a vet tech for over 7 years and i’ve never been happier. I’ve always been the dedicated dog/cat sitter for anyone of my family and friends. I’m very comfortable with medication animals or whatever else your pet may need! I work part time with a set schedule. I have an hour lunch break for swinging by and hanging out. I am free weekends and weekdays as well. I have a fenced in yard that my dogs get to run around in all day and they get kenneled with lots of blankets. I love going on long walks with my dogs and using enrichment activities for my cat.

She was very accommodating to my old senior Mochi and was able to arrange a quiet area for him to rest as well as a fenced outdoor area for him to roam. She truly went above and beyond-taking our pups to the creek, on walks, gave them special treats, and snuggled them as if they were her own. I truly think the dogs enjoyed their vacation as much as we enjoyed ours-her farm is beautiful and any dog is lucky to stay there and enjoy all there is to do and see.
