About: I grew up with a cat as part of the household. I've taken care of cats since I was 12. I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. Now, they are among the most affectionate and friendly cats I've known. They get along with other cats after a couple of sniffs and a hiss on their part.

We had a very busy and hectic schedule during our visit with family up in the York/Hanover area, Chelsea worked with us each day on our drop off and pick up times which allowed us to spend time with our grandkids without being rushed or stressed about our furbaby Rascal. We were updated with text and pictures from Chelsea each day she had Rascal. One of our concerns was Rascal doesn't like being crated and Chelsea let us up front she doesn't crate dogs. She allows them to be on her furniture and has dog beds for them to lay on as well. She takes them out for walks and potty breaks and Rascal seems extremely happy when he was with Chelsea and her family. If we lived in the area we would use Chelsea again and again. I’m Mags (Rover requires me to use my legal name) and I love all animals I have been passionate about dogs ever since I was a child but because experienced working with dogs and cats (and some bunnies) while working for the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently employed part time and have many days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any client’s schedule as needed. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. I have a fenced in back yard and am usually not gone from the house for more than four hours. I also am available for staying over nights at clients houses for a more comfortable experience for everyone in the family.

I provide routine meal times, potty breaks, litter clean-up, medications as needed, treats as positive reinforcement, play time, cuddles, walks and other exercise, and if your pets are used to sleeping in your bed, they are welcome to do the same with me! I do all of this in your home so your best bud doesn't have to stress about too many changes while they are missing you. While Rover's pricing is set up on a per dog fee schedule, I cap charges at $80 per night and $40 per drop in or walk, regardless of the number of pets in your household. In the Rover app, I must modify your booking to be able to do that. I work full-time 9:30am -6pm, Monday -Friday in York, Pa, so I limit my service area during the week to areas between York and New Oxford. I can serve a larger area such as Gettysburg and Dillsburg on weekends. I adhere carefully to client directions about medication, supervision, feeding, and exercise. I want dogs to keep their usual routine as much as possible, and owners to rest assured their treasured pets are cared for as they would. I am a background -checked government employee that prides myself on being dependable and trustworthy. I discuss my scheduling limitations with owners to ensure they are getting a sitter who is the best fit for their pets.
About: I've been around animals my whole life. From the littlest of fish, to the largest of cows and other farm animals! I have 3 dogs of my own, two Colorado mountain dogs and a medium pittie mix. I also have 4 geckoes (2 leopards, a giant Madagascar day gecko, and my newest boy, a harlequin crested gecko!). I've dog-sat little dogs, big dogs, disabled and elderly dogs, as well as young pups and households with multiple animals! I will give you the best care, whether it be for your pets, home, or more! Right now I work part-time at a bakery on Sundays, and I am also a full-time college student! Thankfully, my schedule is very flexible and my attention will solely be on your furry friends. I always make sure to keep my client's homes clean and organized, and pay special attention to any extra tasks I'm giving, such as watering plants (I have dozens of plant babies!), changing the temperature, emptying dehumidifiers, and retrieving packages. Anything you need, I will do to the best of my abilities! I like to update my clients daily on their pets to ease their mind.
About: Hi! I live in a big home with lots of space for long walks and play space for your pet! I have a large fenced back yard and I have plenty of space for your furbaby at my house. While I do not have any pets currently, I have had dogs and other animals all my life (30 years). I have a lot of experience with them in many capacities. I have experience with senior dogs as well. I would love to give your pet all the attention and snuggles they need. I will take amazing care of them and keep you updated as much as you prefer throughout their stay with me!
