She followed instructions, such as giving Ollie his enrichment toy and taking him outside. During the visit, there was an accident in the playpen that was not communicated to me and wasn’t fully cleaned up, and I also noticed Ollie’s water dish was empty. I appreciated her kindness and willingness to help, but I would have liked clearer communication about how the visit went. That said, she was good with Ollie and he really liked her.”

I, regularly, handle very friendly and very unfriendly/anti-social dogs and cats, which is very fun for me! I work full-time taking care of animals, but will be available after hours for at least a few hours most days and have most of Friday and Saturday available. I do not offer services in my own home, but I am able to offer every service in yours. I can walk, play with, and just interact with your animals in whatever way you need and if they do not socialize in those types of ways, that's alright too!
About: Ive been around pets my whole life. For as long as I can remember I’ve had dogs in my home. My family is also a rescue family so I’m very confident with many breeds and ages. We also adopt a lot of senior dogs so I’m very confident in senior care. Can’t wait to spoil your pet! I currently work part time at Plato’s Closet State College where I am a seasonal supervisor. I either work 9-5 or 1-9 but my schedule depends week to week. Reach out and we’ll figure that schedule out! Safety is very important to me. About: I’ve grown up with animals all my life from dogs to cats to rabbits and many more. I loved taking my dog for walks, but sadly she has passed away so I would love to walk your dog. I also love cats, I had one cat a few years back, but my parents won’t let me get another one so if you have a cat I would give it and / or your dog all types of love. About: I’ve always had dogs in my home growing up and in the past year purchased a female Rottweiler. I’m her primary caretaker and have spent the last 12 months training her and expanding my knowledge of dogs. My daily routines are structured around my dogs feeding times, potty breaks, and walks/play time. About: I will give your dog my full attention as well as my children. We all love animals. My children are super gentle and loving and love to take walks so finding time to take your dog for a walk will be no problem! I am home all day so your dog will get lots of attention! I am choosing to do this because the kids want a dog but I am not fully committed to buying one of our own quite yet, so dog sitting will please everyone. I have a huge yard with the option of fenced in and unfenced areas. We have very few neighbors so if your pup is a barker it will be not a problem. About: I have cared for many different types of animals since I was a child. Dogs, cats, bunnies, rats and hamsters. Fostered and lived with many dogs. I currently have dogs and cats. They are the joy of my life especially since the kids (and grand dogs) have grown and moved. Couldn’t imagine life without them. I have two dogs and 2 cats to keep the fur guests company. About: I've walked dogs, as well as watched them while the owners were away since I was little. I don't currently own any larger animals, but I have always handled them. Any dog wouldn't be an issue I currently could fill pretty much any need! I have a few hours of every day that I am busy, but I can be available pretty much anytime! I have an unfenced in yard that I would keep the dog leashed within, but I also know many of the dog friendly hiking trails within the Altoona area. I would be will to do whatever your most comfortable with!
About: I’ve always had family animals that I’ve adored and that got my foot into working in rescue! I’ve work with extra small to extra large dogs, a lot of cats and some other species. I feel very comfortable with behavioral differences in different animals. I’ve worked along side very talented vets and techs that have taught me a lot about medical care, as well. I work part time at home with a dog and two cats. I take physical and mental enrichment very seriously for all animals. Any animal I’m caring for comes first everyday. A tired dog is a happy dog. I have friendly animals at home, a large crate if needed and a separate room set up for shy animals to warm up to the other animals. We have a large (not fenced) yard but we take many long walks a day to keep up with physical needs!
