She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. Plus, she ensured Mavis got plenty of playtime – she understood Mavis's playful side. I was impressed by how Crystal helped Mavis and Sushi become friends. They hit it off after a little supervised playtime, which made me feel even better about leaving Mavis with her. What genuinely set Crystal apart was her communication. I will not accept a request without meeting you and your pet(s) first. This gives us an opportunity to go over all your pet’s needs and your questions. Number one question I get - will you be bringing your dog to my home? Sometimes this is out of curiosity, sometimes they like the idea of their pet having a buddy, but usually it is a safety concern. My dog will never enter your home. When I house sit overnight my dog stays with my sister. She is perfectly happy there and I don’t have to split my focus. My job is to focus on YOUR pet! During walks and in general, I do not allow dogs to interact with people or other dogs/pets. This is a big safety concern, as I often know nothing about other people/pets in the area. I do not take those types of liberties with your pets. We will instead turn a corner, cross the street, come back the way we came, or I politely inform them that ‘this is not my dog’, ‘we don’t have time today’, etc.

About: I will give your dog my full attention as well as my children. We all love animals. My children are super gentle and loving and love to take walks so finding time to take your dog for a walk will be no problem! I am home all day so your dog will get lots of attention! I am choosing to do this because the kids want a dog but I am not fully committed to buying one of our own quite yet, so dog sitting will please everyone. I have a huge yard with the option of fenced in and unfenced areas. We have very few neighbors so if your pup is a barker it will be not a problem. Lots of space to take dogs for walks without running into other people or animals.
About: I have always been around and taken care of dogs and plenty of other animals since I can remember! From snakes to wiener dogs; I care and love them all equally but enough for their own breeds and personalities! I currently have a full time job and a part time job! But I’m always willing to meet and enjoy time with all animals! Anytime after 3:30pm works for me on weekdays! On weekends I work just on Saturdays 11:00- whenever! I enjoy all different sized dogs especially the ones with goofy personalities! I have two cats that are dog friendly! I always have an area to keep them or your puppers separate if they are to energetic! We constantly go out and walk around and love playing with the neighbors dogs! My yard is unfortunately not fenced in but we always work around it!
