I know how hard it is to find a safe place for our fur babies when we have to travel. Our pittie mutt, Hank, can’t wait to meet your pups! I recently retired after 36 years of teaching and have lots of free time to care for your fur babies. We have a large fenced in deck (and pool for our swimmers). Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴

I am also very understanding with any rules you have for your pets and will do anything I can to abide by them. But if it means skimping out of treats then that may be a little tough. Your furry friend is of upmost importance when I am with them so I swear to never put them in harms way (ie. sketchy roads, carelessness in and out of the house, pulling on their collar when walking, etc.).

About: I've always had dogs & cats growing up. Recently, my husband & I rescued a puppy from North Carolina, named Mack. He is the light of our life. In July of 2025, we had to put our 14 year old dog, Roxie, down.. This was very depressing as she was the best girl. I love to be around dogs, and want to ensure they get the best care, whether that be walking or playing ball/fetch, or just snuggles. I hope you reach out for any needs! I currently work full time about 20 minutes from my home, which allows me a greater radius to care for your loved one. I work M-F 8am-4pm (roughly), so I am available for any after work or weekend assistance. I have a fully fenced in yard for my dog to play in. We play ball multiple times throughout the day. He is up to date on his vaccines, and we ensure that he receives any care he might need. I am trained to notice any significant behaviors or concerns, and will address this ASAP.

I am not grossed out by any mess your pet may make and will keep the space clean. Normally work 7-noon 3 days a week. My job is very flexible and could change to suite you and your pets needs! I am very quick with responding if you would need me last minute. My pets that I've had in my home get fed at the same time every day. They are also allowed to go out when they want and get their paws cleaned when they come in. Water is always available to them. You can expect me to do the same with your animals unless told other instructions.

About: I've loved caring for pets for family and friends over the years. Moved away from home so looking to keep that same experience around here. I'm generally off on Sundays and Mondays for work, and live close enough for potty breaks and I make my own schedule if enough notice is given. I have a fenced in yard which has been home to dogs the size of a Great Pyrenees down to a Yorkshire Terrier before. The home is large enough for multiple pets to have their space.

About: I love dogs they can tell. I have a boxer that enjoy running with and playing engaging games. I don't mind walking and running in winter weather. I enjoy working with dogs that want to get out and run but I'm also enjoying working with dogs who have gained some pounds and need a walk... who hasn't been there!? I think happy dogs are less destructive dogs and less distructive dog means happier owner. My hours and availability maybe changing relatively soon, but I am available every day before 8 and every day after 3 im available for overnight stays or weekend stays. About: I have been house sitting/pet sitting since I was 14 years old. I am very reliable and have a flexible working schedule aside from Rover. Pet sitting from me will encourage your animals to still feel loved when you can't be there and decrease their loneliness when you are away. About: Aside from my own pets over the years, I’ve also provided care and comfort to pets of family and friends. Whether in my home or yours, I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I know how hard it is to find a safe place for our fur babies when we have to travel. Our pittie mutt, Hank, can’t wait to meet your pups! I recently retired after 36 years of teaching and have lots of free time to care for your fur babies. We have a large fenced in deck (and pool for our swimmers). Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴

About: I've had the privilege of loving a variety of dogs: a large rottie/shepherd mix, a rat terrier, and currently an american lab puppy. Now that our lab is beginning to calm down, I'm eager to use my energy to help other people care for their pets! We used Rover for many years and I understand how important it is to find loving, last minute care for your beloved pet. I'll be sure to show your pups the best of care while you're away! I live by Barclay mountain, south of Towanda and commute to the Sayre/Athens area for work, which allows me to check in on pets in a wide range. I'd be happy to swing by before and after work as well as on my lunch as long as your location allows! We have a large, unfenced lawn (one day planning to put in a fence for future farm animals) and a small pond on our large, wooded property. Our dog is boundary trained but we keep a long 50 foot lead for visitors! Dogs are welcome to snuggle up on the couch but generally expected to sleep in their crate or bed as bedrooms are off limits to our furry friends. When I come to you to care for your pets, it's important to me that I follow the usual routine that you've established with them!
