Our dog (Benny) was just diagnosed as being hypothyroid and was dealing with many different associated conditions that required medicines and a lot of extra care. This was why we decided to try Rover rather than just boarding him at a kennel. Johanny was available at late notice and was amazing with Benny. About: I’m Jenn, thanks for visiting my profile! I’ve been a dog mom for 8+ years, but caring for other people’s pets for double that. I have watched up to 6 dogs at a time in one household. I volunteer and have fostered through Brindle Buddies and Friends. My experiences with dog sitting and volunteering has exposed me to a variety of ages, stages, breeds and sizes! It’s always important to me that when caring for someone’s pets, I am honoring their usual rituals (training, feeding, etc), treating them with love and providing adequate play and exercise! My own dogs have equipped me in other ways as well having trained them both through local dog training facilities and needed to administer medication when needed. My first dog had several behavioral issues that needed constant attention. I am easy going, empathetic and honest. I am a stay-at-home mom as well as a travel agent that works from home on my own accord. I also have access to childcare some days/times of the week which can open me up to fully devote my attention to your pet. In home: I have a very large yard. My dog is contained using an invisible fence. When we host dogs (play dates or dog sitting), we use a 25+ ft tie out that is securely attached to a tree. The tie out creates an opportunity for safe, supervised play with my dog (55 lb mix, 2.5 y/o female), the ability to roam a decent amount of the yard to explore or go potty, or chill in the yard/on my deck. I also live across from a huge park with a track and several nature trails that gives me the opportunity to provide walks of varying distances. My house is two floors, with most of the living happening downstairs as upstairs we only use that space as a guest room and a fitness/gaming studio. My dog gets crated when we leave the house. If your dog is crate trained, this would be my preference for maximum safety and security but I am completely comfortable (if you are) with them having free roam or being isolated in one room; this is only for leaving the house. I would prefer for your dog to sleep where they usually sleep at home. Dog bed, in our bed, couch, crate, etc. In house, of course we will play however they like! Offering toys, bones, chasing games, etc. Whatever you're comfortable with and they enjoy. Clients' home: I will adhere to any requests and boundaries you make. I am comfortable to play, walk, feed, let out, etc.

I have also taken care of cats overnight. I am a college student, home for the summer. I am looking to help any time I am needed on a weekly basis until mid-late August when I return to college. About: My family has owned a pet sitting business in Stroudsburg, called IOU Pet Care, for 15+ years. The first job I ever had was going to people’s homes and walking their pups for an hour, checking food and water bowls as well as litter boxes, or even staying the night there. About: Ive been a sitter on Rover since 2023! I’ve had a dog since I was 10. She was a chihuahua named Midnight. Since then my family has adopted dogs and cats so I enjoy taking care of both. I am currently a student, but I do have a mix of online and in-person classes which provides me with enough time to sit your pups! “Kaipo loved Scotts home. He was so excited to be there. Nice big yard to run around in and other dogs to play with as well. One of the biggest changes I noticed after Kaipos' stay was that he now returns the ball to me when we play fetch. He would never do that before. Keep away was his favorite game. Took him to dog park and I was throwing the ball for him for nearly an hour. He bought it back every time, dropped it and waited for me to pick it up and throw it again. That was a nice change and I want to thank Scott for fixing that. I had fun.”
